(( Quick post before I run for a bit whee ))

Aksaja nodded at that, glancing over to Laiha as she healed him again. "Exactly... but we can't really help where the explosion flung us...." Which was why they needed to leave. And now.

Yay he won't die on round one now! 8D ))

Tybalt continued to curse all the way until he spotted a familiar face, close to another who appeared gravely injured. Looks like some others had fared worse than he had. Perhaps he could help them in some way? Then again, he didn't choose a bell weapon, and he had already used his last pumpkin pill...

"Everything alright, Yaya?" He asked. But from the amount of blood seeping into the snow, he figured it was kind of a dumb question to ask. Any idiot could see that things weren't at all alright. Though thankfully, she had a pumpkin pill of her own to spare it seemed. So there was no need to worry just yet.

"We go," Laiha reasoned, "All at once, so he won't catch one of us alone."

As an afterthoughts, she healed Lizzy as well for 8 hp.

"A powerful... ninja?" Malodore tilted its head to one side, nonplussed. "Why would there be such strong protection on a single pathway? More powerful than what was in the workshop itself?" That didn't make any sense at all! Christmas Town was clearly very poorly managed.

Rummaging in her small sack of prizes, fishing through peppermints (wait she got another seven? Must have happened during the blast somehow...) she finally pulled her last pumpkin pill from the bag. "Good thing those deer didn't try this." She popped it into her mouth taking once solid bite feeling the welcome bitter taste of FEAR in her mouth before a warm sensation of healing took over.

"Malodore, this whole place is a crockpot of crazy, plain and simple. If we have to fight a ninja I would hardly be surprised."

Candy Cane Lane. Once Riley had been given this information, nothing else that anyone said mattered. This was the one lane they'd been told not to go down. That meant they had all just been flung into more danger.

She lifted her finger in the air as if she was about to say something, but instead flopped back down into the snow and disappeared in the deep hole her body had previously made.

A voice mumbled into her friend's thoughts.

I'm so over this.

"You and I both. It's cold, I'm tired, and I'm just sick of all this over all," grumbled the dragon before glancing up at the other dragon. It probably would be a good idea to get going.

"We should probably get moving.. I don't know how the hell we're going to get back home exactly though."

Jericho did feel a little odd about being here but he couldn't pinpoint the feeling. It was like he was... less there or something. Maybe he was still just out of it from the crash. But their mode of transportation to this wretched place was a pile of useless scrap metal right now.

West didn't open his eyes for quite a while after the explosion. It wasn't that he wasn't conscious, no, Yaya's extra pumpkin pill had taken care of that, it was just that he knew where he had landed. If the panicked twittering of his classmates hadn't tipped him off, surely the smell would have. West didn't want to be here. Finding himself back on Candy Cane Lane filled him with a feeling he might have called dread, if he had one day woken up with a severe lack of badass.

Eventually, however, he couldn't ignore the truth. There were way more students milling about from what he could tell, and if they banded together they might be able to take Jingleberry down. Time to rally the troops! Too bad he wasn't much of a rally...er.

He sat up, wincing as the last twinges of Near Death left him. "Wheressat ninja," he said, voice low. "I'munna kill'im."

As she waited for West to come around after she forced the pill down his throat she couldn't help but look around her surroundings and fell students with a distinct sense of dread. She personally hadn't been daft enough to venture down Candy Cane Lane the first time around, and she was thankful for it. While not knowing any actual details, she knew enough to know it was bad news, and they were in quite a lot of trouble being there. She was nervous, the hand that kept stroking through bright pink hair on the fallen demon was evident of that.

A familiar voice drew her attention though, and she lit up a bit as she saw the black dog, holding her free hand out to him. "Relatively, I suppose. Feeling better with every passing minute." She took a quick glance down at West, color seemed to be returning to his skin. That was good. "How about you, not too hurt are you?"

Movement and wince brought her attention back to West, and she placed a hand at his back, helping him sit up. "Ninja?" She could have sworn he said ninja.. Granted, his words were a jumble of incoherency, more so now, but she was pretty jack damned sure he said ninja.

Raziel had come back to Candy Cane Lane in hopes that they might be able to defeat the ninja the second time around. This time however, there were MANY more students, and Raziel was less than pleased to see some of the students from Oblina Car romaing around. Instead of dwelling on the past, Raziel tried to look for the others that had come to Candy Cane Lane with him the first time.

"...Barth?" Raziel called out tentatively into the crowd.

Mandy gave a long pained groan as she returned to consciousness. Slowly blinking her eyes open she hissed when one of them was nearly poked out by the twigs of the bush she lay in. What happened? Last she could remember the Santa Scouts had been about to explode and then... Darkness. Oh Jack she'd died again thanks to the explosion hadn't she?

Wait. If she'd died, why was she in a bush?. Shouldn't she be in the infirmary? And she was feeling remarkably better for dead, last time the two sword wounds through her gut hadn't stopped screaming at her until she'd taken her last pill but right now she didn't feel like every bone in her body was broken. Only a few, stretching slightly she concluded that in fact it was just her leg.

Odd, even her earlier concussion was gone.

Well there was no more to be found out from lying there. Rolling onto her stomach and causing the bush to rustle heaps as she did so she stuck a clawed hand out of the bush and slowly pulled her self forward and out. The whole thing probably looked a might bit ominous from the other side if any one was watching.

Glancing around her eyes took in some familiar faces bribing a slight smile to her face, nothing it appeared could separate Krumm Car completely, before where exactly she was registered. Jack. Letting out a pained sounding Nooooooooooooo she let her head thump into the snow. Candycane Lane. Just perfect. She was in no condition to fight a Ninja again.

When Colette landed with a thud onto the lane's hard surface, she groaned and winced at the pain. That explosion had taken a lot out her, and she squinted at the red on the ground. Was that her blood, or natural? When she realized it was both, blood actually being the dominant of the coloring, she muttered an, "Ugh," in anger and swallowed her last pumpkin pill. The scent and taste of the air accompanied by the ground meant one thing, she was back in Candycane Lane, and it was no place to be weak.

The Reaper quickly tried to get up and survey her surroundings in case something might have been close, but relaxed at the sight of nothing more than fellow students. At least she didn't have to go through this alone. Last time she had been willing to, but now she knew that wasn't a smart idea. They had died with even a handful of students, and she knew she probably wouldn't have lasted alone. Sighing at what was to come, she inspected her swords. It took a lot to hold onto them when the explosion occurred, but she managed. They would need a lot of cleaning once she returned to the academy though. She decided to keep them out and ready over tucking them against her back.

Looking for someone she knew, mostly someone who had already been through this with her, Colette made her way over to Barth. Keeping pace with him, which wasn't actually very hard, she sighed and tried to offer conversation, "Brings back memories, right?" The meeting with the ninja hadn't occurred long ago, and Colette would never forget it even if it had, but it was a little joke to start their long and dreadful walk through Candycane Lane. She was sort of happy to be here in case they could kill JingleBerry, but she was also worried because everyone had already been through so much. Colette knew she was weak from going through Christmas, a part of it even twice, and all she had collected were a bunch of little peppermints and a few presents that contained who knows what.

Okay. The thought emitted from the hole in the snow containing Riley. Okay. She repeated, before she slowly got up, shuddering as the cold wind whipped at her soaked back. Her thoughts reached every mind in the lane, loud and clear. Nothing's been going as we planned. I get it. And we're probably in a lot of danger right here. So, our only choice is to heal up, and get out of here. Who's hurt? She slowly gestured at some of the students that were clearly holding bells. Let's get some bells ringing, and everybody on their feet. I don't want anyone left behind this time.

A new determination had flooded her when she had been laying, cold and wet in the snow. If this really was the end, they were going to have to come together as a group and show some solidarity. Riley felt more than comfortable taking control of the situation - if it meant their survival, she would step into the shoes of a leader. Oh.. shoes. How she'd love her shoes back, right about now.

She felt a warm breeze taunt her from one direction, and swiveled quickly towards it. Her arm lifted and one long finger pointed down the lane. That way. That's our path. Wherever that warm breeze came from, it meant an end to this madness.

Sin was sick and tired of this place, she was tired of explosions and danger and a distinct lack of proper loot! She never wanted to see another elf again or any drunken trees, crazy toys, or dumb deer! So, even though it was foolish and dangerous and likely to get her into a world of hurt, she stepped onto the Candy Cane Lane. It was the fastest way out of this place, so it was worth the risk...she hoped. She quickly raised her bells to try and heal herself up because that last explosion had been a doozy.

She relaxed as a wave of healing settled over her making her feel a bit better. Still the radiating JOY of the area made her feel a bit woozy, she glanced at the bells again wondering if she shouldn't try and give them one last ring.

Christof was dimly aware of someone standing beside him, jerking his limbs about, and as feeling slowly came back to his previously missing leg and located arm again, he shifted to sit up and blink blearily at the dragon. His wits slowly returning with the heal, he shifted to sit as Aksaja finished tying off one of his ankles with his boot laces, and gave the thing an experimental wiggle. It still felt numb, but that must have been the cold. Suddenly, there was that voice in his head again and Christof glanced around frantically. Had anyone else heard it? Was he officially mad? It seemed whatever the voice had planned, at least it HAD some sort of plan. With a thanking nod to the dragon that had helped him... pull himself together... he gingerly put a hand on the creature's shoulder to haul himself unsteadily to his feet.

This whole place was insane, and even if it was just a voice in his head it was RIGHT- they needed to get out of here, and fast.
