Hibiki and Kuro began jogging back to the pharmacy, wondering if his squad members did the same and dispersed to help the townspeople out. Another building began to vibrate and make huge popping sounds as the fire gave it's deathly embrace to it. With another explosions from within, the building began to collapse as a scream could be hear. "C'mon Kuro!" The Mist Genin shouted as they let themselves break out into a sprint. There was a yip and a puff of smoke as Kuro used Man-Beast Clone to transform into an exact replica of his Inuzukan friend. "Let us get them, Hibiki!" The Vulpine shouted as he began to sprint beside the other boy.
The building gave way as rubble began to rain down upon the ground. Utilizing his animal-like senses, Hibiki recognized a small girl that was bawling in the fetal position. Kuro slowed down enough to get behind Hibiki as the Inuzuka jumped and pushed off of the Fox's poised hands. "Man-Beast Ultimate Taijutsu: Fang over Fang!" Hibiki roared as he spun furiously towards the wall that was blocking their way to the small girl. He easily tore through the wood and broke into a small child's room littered with toys and other useless objects. Kuro ran ahead and grabbed the small child, a girl with long, dark hair with a very skinny frame, and began to rush out the same way they had came, except as he scooped up the child, the building gave away even more. Wood began to pile up everywhere around the room, almost effectively make a large wooden dome. "There no escape!" Kuro whined in his unpracticed human tongue. Hibiki shook his head violently as the nearby fire began to throw ash around the area, causing discomfort to the Inuzukan's senses. "We need to use our Taijutsu to get out of here." He reasoned as the Ninsune put the girl down and told her to wait. As the duo looked at the wall, they began to spin together, "Man-Beast Ultimate Taijutsu: Fang over Fang!" they announced as their bodies formed a cyclone of limps and began to rip through the wooden debris. The wood was easy to push through, like tissue paper. It was only a matter of seconds before fresh, or as fresh as it can be considering the circumstances, of the Hidden Mist Village.
The little girl sprinted out of the wreckage and into the arms of someone nearby as the duo stopped using their Taijutsu. Kuro released his transformation jutsu and turned back into his original vulpine body with a happy yip and wag of a tail. There wasn't much of a celebration, as another building down the line began to convulse dangerously. The duo made their way to the building, they were panting heavily, but they had to stay strong. Kiri needed their help, the two of them weren't going to give up just yet.
A familiar scent now burned his nose as he made his way to the wreck. It made him hesitate, just a bit, but he ignored his hesitation as he continued to run down the marketplace, mostly in the opposite direction of the crowd. As he came closer, he noticed the building was already falling apart, it would have been dumb to just charge right in. I'm all about sacrificing for the country and whatever, but I am not going to do it recklessly! This building is done for. He thought, as the fishy smell was still stick in his nostrils.

"Get...get Tousan to the hospital." "Huh?!" Novvus whirled around to see Kaji's face twisted in pain. The feral boy growled in agony, dropping down to one knee. The dark-skinned boy was about to go help him but Kaji's chakra began to flare up wildly again. The feral boy backed away from Tousan's limp form before the electrified chakra could cause any damage. The chakra blazed up, then reformed and became the wolf-like cloak that had surrounded Kaji earlier. The feral boy let out a roar that sent a blast of air in all directions. A few seconds later, an alien voice spoke through Kaji.
"You took care of Kaji once...You shall be avenged Tousan..." Novvus rushed forward and picked up the old man, setting him on his back in a piggy-back fashion. Tousan was fairly light. A second tail of chakra emerged from the base of the first, causing the dark-skinned boy to c**k his head to the side in wonder. Kaji's head whipped around to face him. "You!" said the voice in a growl, "We have unfinished business." "Who...who are you!?" asked Novvus, taking a defensive stance. The feral boy's eyes roamed from Tousan to Novvus, and whatever had possessed Kaji ignored the dark-skinned boy's question. "If the old man dies, so do you." threatened the alien voice. Novvus could feel the old man stirring feebly on his back. "Save the village..." said Tousan in a strained rasp. It was all he could manage before he went unconscious again.
A change suddenly came over Kaji. Though the chakra cloak still raged around him, Novvus could see that Kaji was trying to regain control of his body. The feral boy was shaking his head and growling to himself for a few seconds. He finally looked up and addressed Novvus. "Get him to a medical center. I'll save as many as I can." he growled, then looked over to the burning wreckage that was once the southern residential district. "Kurosai...go with Tousan, and keep him safe." said Kaji darkly, then a moment later he was gone. The sonic boom created from his movement leveled the surrounding trees and knocked Novvus off his feet. He winced, wishing he could rub his injured bottom as he got up. Novvus was about to follow Kaji, but remembered the feral boy's request. "Don't worry Kaji, i'll get him to the medical center as soon as possible." With that, he headed to the hospital, which was now about ten blocks away. The streets were full of people, injured and fit villagers who trying to get away from the wreckage and enter the safe zones. It's impossible trying to dodge through so many people with Tousan on my back... thought the dark-skinned boy, jumping on a wall and dashing up its length to get to the roof. Kurosai followed suit, and soon they ran the rest of the way over the empty rooftops. The duo reached the hospital in about three minutes. They landed in a clearing in front of the building. A medic-nin ran out to meet them. "What happened?" he asked, gently taking Tousan from Novvus. "His house collapsed on top of him." replied the dark-skinned boy. "I have to return to my friend, he's trying to save people on his own as we speak. Please take care of the old man, he's very precious to my friend." The medic nodded and swiftly carried Tousan inside. Novvus began to head back in the direction he had come. "Let's hurry back, Kurosai. I'm getting a bad feeling." he said, putting his hand on the wound he had received earlier, which began to feel uncomfortably tingly.
The dark-skinned boy and braided wolf were soon at the place where they had split up from Kaji. To their left was a corridor of mayhem that was free of fires. Novvus took the cue and entered the area. Everywhere there were telltale signs of Kaji's antics. Shocked faces of huddled families out in the street a few feet away from their ruined homes, claw-marks in the middle of the street heading further down the path of destruction, which abruptly ended at a collapsed house. The sound of a child's voice came from beneath behind a wall. Kurosai barked, then began to dig at the rubble. After a minute or so, he uncovered a section of a small leg. Novvus helped by removing larger bits of wood. A small boy burst from the rubble. There were a few scratches on him but he was okay. "Please," he whimpered, "You have to help the wolf-man. He's still trapped down there and he's hurt really bad." Novvus put his hand on the boy's small shoulder. "Don't worry, just stand back and watch." Novvus waited until the boy was out of harm's way then stood in front of a small section of the wall that was still intact. "Swift: Arm Destroyer!!" He loosed a barrage of lightning-fast punches into the wall, which crumpled on the twentieth blow. Kaji was inside a pocket that was supported by a few beams of wood, which were slowly giving way. The creaking spurred Novvus into action. Quickly, he and Kurousai dug him out, a procedure that took about five minutes. Just as the beams gave way to the weight and broke, the dark-skinned wolf and braided wolf were able to pull him out of the house.

Without putting much haste in his walk, Koji made his way to his home, taking in the sights, or rather hideous structures that were left within the poorer section of Kirigakure, which oddly enough did not suffer as much damage as the rest of the village during the attack by Sai and Sorain, possibly because there was nothing there to truly attack, but the structures in the area did feel the aftershocks produced by the explosives that rang throughout the rest of the village. "Man I wonder if I should take off after them... as much as I want to think that this whole attack has nothing to do with me, they could have cared less if they had killed me during their little escapade." Koji thought to himself, obviously letting the Mission posting about the two sink in. Prior to seeing the poster Koji simply thought that the attack was from some other village or group that held some sort of grudge against the village, but now that it was apparent that it was set off by "his own people" Koji felt like he should get some sort of revenge on the two.
"Bah I'm not going to let this get to me, I've gone nineteen years not giving a rats a** about the people in this village, and I'll be damned if those bastards make me start to care now." Koji said to himself, as he balled his left hand up into a fist, which was now barely covered by his old gloves which obviously could not keep up with his lightning attack that he preformed much earlier. Continuing on his walk after making some peace with himself, Koji arrived at his apartment building and slipped through the front door, or lack there of door, and carried himself up the single flight of stairs, and then rounded a corner onto a dark hallway which led to a single door, being the entrance to Koji's room.
Rummaging through his pockets in the darkness of the hallway, Koji produced the key to his front door and slipped it into the lock and almost had to force the door open as it never really worked right. "Damn this door, it always gets stuck for no freaking reason." Koji said to himself as the lock remained stuck, causing his door to remain shut no matter how much he shifted the key around. "Oh ******** it." Koji finally said, now backing away from the door a few steps. With this he then slightly rotated his body to the left, and then with a sudden burst of movement he swung his left leg up and to the right, landing a solid kick in the center of the door, with enough force to break it free from its hinges, and at the same time rip the entire locking mechanism from the wall; leaving the door to slide forward a few inches before it collapsed upon the ground with a noticeable thud and a sudden cloud of dust which was only visible in the beams of light which raked across his apartment.
With a slight grimace about his face Koji stepped into his apartment, stepping upon the now broken door as if it were part of the flooring of his place. Looking around slightly Koji was inspecting his room to ensure that no one had broken in in his absence, and to his eye, it appeared as if nothing was out of place, save for the door that he now stood upon. "Well I guess I'll just change my clothes and get out of this dump." Koji said to himself as he now stepped off of the broken door and bent down to raise it up off of the floor, and roughly fitted it back into its frame, just for his own privacy as he was changing up his wardrobe. With the door now up enough to give him his privacy Koji quickly disrobed, leaving his tattered clothing from earlier upon the ground as he entered his bathroom and quickly stepped into a steaming hot shower, which almost immediately relaxed him and his muscles.
If it were not for the fact that he had to meet back up with Aizen, Koji would have most likely sat down and feel asleep in the warm embrace of his shower. But as it was he did need to greet his comrade in a timely manner, which caused Koji to cut his typical shower time in half. Reaching forward to cut off the water supply tightly, Koji stepped out onto his cold tiled floor, quickly pulling a towl from a basket to dry himself off before the cold could fully set in. He then wrapped the towl about his waste as he stepped back into his main room and then crossed it to find his wardrobe, in which hung a black bag containing the outfit he ordered in somewhat secrecy for when he would become a full fledged shinobi in the eyes of his village. Pulling down the long zipper which began at the top of the bag, Koji revealed his new attire, a pair of somewhat fitted black pants with black and purple crossed belts, a yellow graphic shirt and a black jacket with purple detailing, to match the purplish highlights in his hair and upon his belt. Also in the bag were a pair of black and yellow gloves, and an outfitted pair of ninja combat boots, which unlike typical ones covered all of his foot.
With a slight grin upon his face Koji pulled out and laid out his new outfit, and quickly changed into it, finding each bit of it fitting to his liking as he grew into it as he thought he would."Now then to test it out and see if the tailor was as good as she said she was in weaving chakra through my clothing." Koji said to himself as he wove a set of hand signs in preparation for a simple technique that he accidentally stumbled upon. After completing his signs, Koji could feel his body begin to alter its own structure, and slightly grow in size until he suddenly expanded into a large ball, accidentally crushing his only chair in the process, and began to push against his fridge and desk. "Damn it too much... but my clothes don't seem to have ripped at all." Koji thought to himself as he cancelled the technique and quickly shrunk back to his usual size, leaving him slightly winded and weakened by the sudden use of his families abilities. now that he was back to his typical size, Koji inspected his clothing finding that it too had regained its usual proportions and would indeed serve him well in his career as a shinobi.
"Now then I'm all outfitted and... wait one last thing." Koji said to himself now turning back to his pile of clothes and searched around his his Mist Headband, only just realizing that he had yet to wear it, although he had no intention of wearing it upon his head. With some siimple cutting and sewing Koji removed the metal from the original band and incorporated it into his belts studded design in order to display it on his person. "Now the outfit is complete." Koji said to himself. Now turning to his front door Koji simply lifted it up and sat it to the side and walked out of the apartment of which he had no intention of returning, having ended this chapter of his life, and now intended to truly begin his life as a shinobi and would find a new place to stay.
Stepping out into the small courtyard like circle in front of his building Koji found Aizen waiting for him, and listened as he addressed him. "Yea yea, I know we need to get stronger and quickly at that." Koji said to his teammate knowing that Aizen would be enthusiastic about going on the mundane missions that they were to be supplied with, but with any luck they would be able to get some useful times out of them. "Well if you ask me, I don't think we are quite ready to take each other on, but I think we should totally find another group to work with, at least for now and go from there." Koji said, now trying to take charge of the two of them and lead them towards some worthwhile training.

Aizen’s right arm lifted as he waved his hand to Koji, Ah new Attire I like it allot! I think I‘ll stick with my current outfit until later on. his arms lifted behind his head only for his wrapped wrists to come together along with his fingers. He held his hands above his head all while his long sleeves fell below his elbows. His body then turned as Koji began to take the lead now, it was to be expected seeing as he was a Combat Ninja. Hmm did he buy the new attire to suit that of his body? earlier he seemed irritated with how his clothing fit, but now he seems more comfortable. I’m itching for a fight, hehe Perhaps we can go after those rogue ninja Eventually! I’m not sure how my skills would do now but I know if we put training into effect we should maybe possibly stand a chance against them...Wonder what type of Kekkei Genkai they have... Didn’t say much on the warrant Paper...Hmm oh well now isn’t the time to be looking for them, we’ve got better things in which to do like look for other people to possibly train with!
And with that being said Laughed out loud while his arms fell to his sides, The giant sleeves in which his attire had fell to their rightful place over his arms. Seeking Adventure Aizen quickly darted in front of Koji and swiftly leapt into the sky only to land on the roughened building tops, His body leaned to the left as his feet corresponded with his body and quickly ran down the broken Shingles as his right foot lifted above his left knee cap only to cause him to cross the ally way onto another building. his arms followed behind his body as his legs pushed into the Bare roof of the building causing him to climb it until hitting the spine of the roof top. He Stepped to the right and then quickly spun as he darted to the left, without warning he front flipped off of the building going towards the grounds in a free fall state. At the last moment his body began to spin as it did so his body rotation slowed down his descent upon the ground before he was quickly able to land upon his feet in a spinning leg rotation.
Hm, I want something to do darn it... I wonder where everyone is... So what did you have in mind by finding other people? have a sparing match or find out more information about them and who else they know? Either way I want to be a mastery at Ninjutsu...I want to learn the best Medical techniques out there... Even possibly learn some that are rare and hard to come by...Even if I get accused of stealing...I must have the very best Techniques out there... without them I’m practically a pathetic medic with no tallent... and that is no where near my reputation! even without learning jutsu, I’ve always been a Natural at taking care of people... However I have been known to induce those who treat me badly with Toxic Drinks or make them ill for a week. Horrid digestive problems, so gut wrenching your stomach twists and turns for hours on end. It’s something I don’t wish to bring up too much, as Medical skills are my foremost desirer able Fetishes out there. Not to mention chicks dig Doctors!
With that being stated Aizen was silent for the most part, running his mouth might be irritating to some but he liked talking, it was something to pass the time indeed. Now passing through the end of the rubble part of town they finally entered back into the center of the village. Villagers were talking left and right to sell or buy produce and resources for their families, it was a clutter fest in which made Aizen uneasy.. Tight spaces weren’t his forte as he seemed to love the open space more. Blah these mongrels are always out and about.... I wish people were more subjected to stay inside and keep to themselves... Once more letting Koji lead the way he followed close behind as to not lose sight of his partner.

Kaji's limp body was drenched in his own blood as he was pulled from the wreckage. His limbs were mangled and the bones were badly broken. As Kurosai rushed to his side his eyes fluttered open for a moment. He tried to cry out in pain but he was so weak all that came out of his mouth as a hissing groan. As Kaji looked up at Novvus in a daze chakra began to leak out around his bones and force them back into place. Kaji's face twisted with pain as the bones ground against each other. Then lightning began to arc searing the wounds shut to stop the bleeding. Kaji's breathing was shallow and he lapsed into unconsciousness again. Slowly the muscle tissue was regenerating itself, and chakra was leaking out into the air around kaji encasing him in a healing aura.
Kaji began to hack and cough as his punctured lung healed over and the blood inside was forced out of his body. His breathing slowly became stronger and more regular and eventually he was able to speak again. "Is the kid ok?" Kaji asked hoarsely. He flew into a coughing fit as he forced himself to his feet again. "Come on Novvus." Kaji said between coughs. "We have more people to save." He coughed as he nearly fell to his knees. Kaji began to limp towards the next house but was stopped by the people that he had saved. "You're in no shape to be saving anyone!" An old motherly woman cried out as she grabbed him by the ear. "You're going to the hospital!" She commanded. Kaji just grunted and pulled away from her. "I owe it to a friend." He growled as he gritted his teeth in pain. He tried to move forward but the people he had saved wouldn't let him go. "Let me go!" Kaji growled, but this time he didn't have the strength to even pop his claws and he simply fell limp in their arms. His breathing quickened again and became more labored as his face contorted in pain. He let out a loud cry of pure anguish as his arm re-shattered under the stress.

"Thanks for that, these clothes are actually quite special, but I'll let you wait until later to figure out why they are." Koji said to Aizen, still not intending on letting any secrets involving his bloodline abilities out to anyone as they confused even him as to where they came from. Now watching Aizen as he began to bounce around across the rooftops Koji decided to keep to the ground and simply walk through the village. With the recent attacks and repairs that still needed to happen the ground was most likely the safest place to be as at any moment the shingles that lined the rooftops could shatter or slide out from under someone and lead them to a rather quick demise.
"I could care less about any Kekkei Genkai that they might possess. Granted it would give them a rather annoying edge in and out of battle I believe that enough of the ninja that are going to be sent after them will have their own hidden abilities to combat anything that they might throw at them.", and with that Koji redirected his attention towards his own path, allowing Aizen to work out his excess energy no matter how dangerous it would appear to have been.
"You know everyone is probably out on some sort of mission right about now. At times like this the village might be stretched pretty thin as far as manpower goes, but thats because we can't let other nations know that we are in a weakened state." Koji stated, adding a sigh to the end of his statement. To him ever since Aizen started to tag along he began to sound more authoritative, if not responsible and that was certainly not something that he enjoyed doing. Turning his attention back towards the babbling Aizen Koji couldn't help but chuckle slightly before he began to speak to him, "Lets not get too ahead of ourselves yet, I think it would be smarter for us to make sure we can't get rubbed out too easily by some of the other teams here in the village before we can become masters of anything; although becoming a master is a nice goal."
"Actually come to think about it, I haven't seen you in action at all." Koji said suddenly as he and Aizen were confronted with the crowded streets and makeshift storefronts put up until reconstruction could be completed on many of the damaged buildings. "I think I should take you up on your sparring offer, but here certainly is not the place for that." Koji said, now bringing his hand up to scratch at the top of his head. "There is a small island off of this main island that we can easily reach on foot... that is if you can maintain a water walking jutsu long enough to make it there. But it is a nice place to train or spar, it's pretty secluded and scenic at the same time." Koji stated figuring thats where the two would venture to until a mission would be handed out to them. "Well lets head there now, and after we are done we can check back in at the registration area and check in for a mission." Koji quickly stated before he began to push his way through the crowd, now making for the northern edge of the island.

Kaji lapsed in and out of consciousness. During this time a low-intensity chakra cloak formed around him and his began healing his surface wounds. After a while he began coughing in a fit. When he got over it he hoarsely asked, " Is the kid okay?" Kaji went into another coughing fit when he began forcing himself to his feet. " Come on Novvus. We have more people to save." Novvus sighed deeply as Kaji got up and tried walking in the direction of the burning village. The same people that he had saved earlier got up and barred his way. Even a very motherly woman pulled on the feral boy's ear and told him he had done more than enough. The feral boy tried to resist, but only ended up damaging his cheaply-patched wounds. Novvus walked up to Kaji and delivered a precise chop to the carotid artery on his neck. The feral boy fell limply into the dark-skinned boy's arms. After slinging him over the shoulder, Novvus turned to the crowd. " Thank you for stopping my friend from doing something really stupid. Now please get to the safe zones, it's not safe to linger here any further." As if to accentuate his statement, a tree weakened by the blaze collapsed a few meters away. The saved villagers began to move out, wasting no time in getting to safety. Novvus made his way back to the hospital and admitted Kaji, requesting that he be placed in the same room as Tousan. The medics worked on Kaji for an hour, then wheeled him into the room where the old man lay asleep. Novvus dozed off waiting until Kaji came to, Kurosai laying curled at his feet. Quote: We should wrap this up in the next couple of posts and get to chasing those fricken terrorists! scream Also we should cash in our line counts.

Quote: This took a bit longer than expected... sweatdrop I need to work on my Detailed inspiration, and explanation skills. Blah! Full page on Microsoft! Woot for me! Aizen smirked as his partner finally wanted to test their abilities, It was even possible they’d learn more about each other through battle than any other concept of communication. I see... Well that should be interesting to figure out. Aizen looked back at Koji and shook his head before dropping it in disappointment. His Teammate was really not that intellectual at times, indeed probably more bite than bark. Hmm, you’d rather go in blind rather than find out more information about a target of interest...isn’t that how you underestimate someone and die... Aizen shrugged in question as he quickly looked up for the nearest roofing to get out of the crowded street of Kirigakure. He then quickly leaped into the air only to catch a roofs edge and he lifted himself up onto it, He inhaled with a big breath in relief of the small cramped spaces below. Man, Koji..... you need to think more... Why would you go into battle blind... It Just doesn’t make sense.... a little information is better than none...I suppose I should teach him a lesson when we get to where we are headed. Aizen slapped his face as he was told not to get ahead of himself, but it was true. If there were other teams after the Missin Nin sure enough they’d feel threatened to take them both on, and then they’d possibly be in danger. Yeah same goes for you, I wonder if you can even carry your own with someone. I mean I trust you and all but I want to know you’ve got my back... I can’t have a Combat oriented Shinobi with me who isn’t capable of having a Decent fight. Aizen thought about what he had said and slightly chuckled to it, Yeah considering it’s more Closterphobic than anything in this market place... yuck, Of course I can manipulate the Water Walking Technique... I am after all a water shinobi born and bred from a Water Country. What do you take me for someone with no normal Jutsus...I feel you have little to no faith in me. For that I shall give you a challenge worth your time don’t you worry! Hmm a mission after a sparing match sounds lovely indeed. So going to tell me about yourself or do I have to find out the hard way? I’ve got a Kekkei Genkai that I use, but I’ll keep that to your disadvantage until you see what it is. I’m a pure Ninjutsu user as my role in combat is a Medic. I’m also trained in the Water Element, So I have home base advantage when I’m around large sums of water of course. But that’s all you’re getting out of me until we fight Haha! Be prepared to get your a** handed to you! Aizen Leapt off the building top only to land midway onto a brick wall and spin off of it to land on his feet. Turning around to look at Koji as his arms swayed from left to right he chuckled under his breath. inhaling through his nose and finally tilted his head to the right as his neck cracked in relief. I have so many idea’s for Techniques....Hmm you know there is one person who influences me the most, I won’t name anyone specific; however, He was partially insane. He had the research ability of a Genius, no doubt he was magnificent within Medical scientific applications. It’s believed he rose the dead and used them to conquer most of the land. But it’s only history that states that, it could be completely made up from some old binger. Finally turning back around he lowered his body in a kneeling position just before darting off in the direction of this un-habited space of land, There he would fight Koji and see where they stood within battle pretences. this would be a perfect time to evaluate their conditioning and fix what little or big flaws in which they held on their belts. Hmm I wonder if lightning is his base how the hell am I going to avoid getting struck with so much water around us...I know I should stay away from Ninja‘s who use lightning as a base element, I could be seriously injured if I get hit by an attack of any magnitude. But then again I‘m also a medical genius myself, I swear to this point on I must keep myself on edge and always provide myself with a way out of situations. now if Koji uses Electricity then I‘d have to keep any water techniques I use away from my body and if I can dodge his in coming attacks.... Which won‘t be easily done since he‘s got the physical strength than I do. I‘ll have to keep a keen eye on him for sure.Within seconds they were on the shore line of the Misty beaches, Aizen readied himself and swiftly leapt onto the waters surface only to slide momentarily and then continued to run toward their destination. It was indeed exciting to know that he’s be facing his first opponent and foremost his teammate for the first time. Aizen couldn’t help but run his mind through hoops as to how the combat experience would come out to be like. Would it be steady paced with equal combat skills on both ends or would it be fast and determined on who launched what at what time. So many variations of combat and how it was played out, Aizen would have to have patients in order to see the outcome but it was so close his finger tips were tingling with anticipation of a good outcome of the test battle. Good luck Koji, and don’t over do yourself to much, and I’ll do the same. We can’t afford to risk out well being over a sparring match; however, don’t go light on my behalf we both need to be in top shape for our up coming duties as Ninjas of the Mist.

The suspect ninja tried to crawl away from the hulking blue beast that was Kyuzaku. With a cry of terror, he felt his ankle get grabbed tightly. He tried to hold the ground for dear life. His nails scraped against the tiled roof as he was torn backwards. His body swung through the air like a hammer, and landed face-first against the cold roof. Before he had a chance to return the favor, he felt his body in zero-gee mode again, then slammed against the rooftop on his back. The ninja in the mask coughed up blood. Things were looking grim. He gripped the tiles, and pulled back his foot. Fight or flight insticts were in full swing. He kicked the blue ninja frantically, then pawed at the slanted roof beneath him. Feet touching ground, he tried to make a brake for it, but the cusp of his shirt was pulled. His neck pulled back while his front pushed forward.
The ninja reached with gloved hands for his neck in surprise, then found relief. His neck had been let go, but he was falling backwards. The world slipped into slo-mo as he reached fourty-five degrees in reverse, and he felt an object against his back. When things turned back to normal, a lone knee was holding up his twisted back. All he could see were colors, stars, and a fire-licked sky, then his eyes closed.
Kyu tossed the ninja to the ground below, and leaped off of the burning building. Malice and hate burned in his eyes. He pulled up the masked ninja's face from the dirt, and picked him up by his disfigured headband. It was strange. Holding up this bloody and bruised ninja, while the city was burning, and people screaming nearby... it somehow made Kyuzaku feel like HE was the villain. Of course, this wasn't the case.
Kyu flipped the enemy shinobi over his shoulder, and looked for a new target. In this heated turn of events, Kyu would fight anyone if it would make him feel better, even for a moment. When no new suspects arrived, Kyu angrily tossed the unconscious foe into the street. Kyu stared hungrily at the crumpled body. He wanted to finish the job, his blood lust was overwhelming. However, there were more pressing matters, such as the dog-boy that stood nearby. Kyu looked up at the mutt, and yelled, "Hey Runt, where the hell were you when I bagged this guy?"

Hibiki watched as Kyu suddenly turned into a monster, killing a fellow ninja not only in broad daylight, but for no reason. The Fox-boy's smile twisted into an angry, yet maniacal grin that made him seem insane as his usually soft voice escalated to a hoarse shout, "What do you think you're doing?! Our village was in trouble and yet you continue to go on with our mission? Where do your priorities lay?" Now the pair were really stirring up a scene, as Kuro began to bark and growl in sync with Hibiki's shouting. "Not only do you desert our village when it's in need, but then you act like nothing happened and blame me for not going with your selfish desires!"The sound of electricity crackling can be heard coming from the Inuzuka Duo as they continued on with their scolding, "I was out there helping our fellow ninja by rescuing people. If you didn't become a shinobi to do just that, then why?" He took a few steps forward as if to initiate a brawl, however Kuro lazily walked in front of Hibiki. That was his way of saying 'he's not worth it'. The Inuzuka looked down at his own fist as he clenched it. He could feel the electricity surging through him, ready to strike out to his nearest victim. "Whatever, I'm going to go request a new team at the office." He grunted, as he began to walk off with his Vulpes behind him. Quote: ssA: Even if you leave his team, you will still be viewed as Vash and Co. xDDD

"Heh, as if, bro! What do you think happens if he gets away, huh? The town can't cope with this disaster, and even if the Mizukage were to step in and help pay for repairs, little bastards like this ninja would get in the way and steal the rug beneath our feet! I AM saving this village. I'm no medic nin! I'm not a sensor that can find people in the rubble. I'm a fighter, that's it. I break things, I kill people. That's my job. I know my place. You and Rinku went M-I-A when I could have used your help!" Kyuzaku barked the withdrawing mutt.
Kyu stomped his foot, and heard a groan next to it. He glanced down ragefully at the tossing and turning form of the ninja, then yelled, "AND SCREW YOU TOO!" Kyuzaku delivered a powerful kick to the shinobi's ribs, making him yelp in pain, "If you think that hurts, just wait 'till the interrogators get to you!"
Kyuzaku spat onto the ground, then yelled out one last insult to the Inuzaka, "Yeah, run home to your pack, Omega! You loathsome cur!" Kyu bared his teeth than yanked the theif over his shoulder again. The broken shinobi screamed, to which Kyu ignored begrudgingly. Unfortunately, he too had to visit the mission offices. He had to pass in the burglar on his shoulder so he could be questioned, and standing here wasn't helping anything. Kyu took a running start and jumped up onto the falling railing that was formerly on a house, then began to jump from light post to light post. Luckily, these were mostly intact, so the trip was smooth from there on (only physically of course). The rest of the way, Kyu muttered under his breath, cursing the mutiny of that good-for-nothing mongrel Hibiki.

Hibiki and Kuro only took a few steps before he was frozen in place as Kyu began to justify his treason. Using his twisted sense of logic, the shark said that because he isnt a medic nin or a tracker nin, that he has free reign over any type of destruction he can cause, as long as he was helping. Hibiki could have walked away with just those insults, but to call him an Omega? and to run home to his pack? That pierced the soft underbelly of his rage. Instead of circling around and avoiding the overgrown guppy, he decided to tail him.
That malicious, yet mischievous, grin was still painted across his face as Kuro and Hibiki dashed from place to place, following Kyuzaku. Of course the Inuzuka was being as stealthy as possible as he followed him, letting him know what was going on would ruin his plan. Kuro, despite being more sensible than Hibiki at times, was not only going along with the plan, but was encouraging it. If he could only see from a different perspective, he would know not to cross me. Especially when I am right. His selfish act will not go unpunished, in the name of Kiri. They silently sped across the rubble and debris that now scattered the streets as he followed silently after Kyu like a shadow in the moonlit night.

Kaji was in the hospital and unconscious for nearly a whole day as his body repaired itself. When he woke up he let out a low groan, and blinked a few times to let his eyes grow accustomed to the lights again. His nose immediately crinkled at the sickly sweet smell of antiseptic, and bleach. He gagged slightly as the smell built up in his nose, and pulled himself up out of the bed. He felt unsettled by how unnatural the entire hospital felt. He shook off the feeling and made his way to the door. Kurosai and Novvus were both so quiet that he didn't notice them there in his rush to get outside.
Kaji's body had healed abnormally quickly, and he was able to return to the wreckage that was Tousan's home. After digging through the rubble for a time Kaji found what he was looking for. It was scratched up and very dirty, but Tousan's favorite pipe was still intact. Kaji held the pipe firmly in his hand as he got to his feet. "Tousan... Someone is going to pay for this." He said as he gritted his teeth. Kaji lingered in front of the destroyed home for a few moments before heading back to the hospital.
Kaji steeled himself against the unnerving, and unnatural atmosphere of the hospital for a few moments before walking through the door. As he walked down the hallway to Tousan's room his nose burnt with the smell of bleach. A shiver ran down his spine, and Kaji cringed as an eerie silence fell over the hospital. He stepped into Tousan's room and placed the pipe on his bedside table. It was then that Kaji noticed Novvus and Kurosai sleeping in the corner. He didn't want to stay in the hospital any longer than was absolutely necessary, and left the hospital in a hurry.
Kurosai stirred from his sleep just as Kaji was leaving the room, and nudged Novvus awake. With that done he quickly followed Kaji out the door. Kurosai shared Kaji's dislike of hospitals and seemed quite happy to be leaving the building. When Kurosai exited the building Kaji was lazing in the branches of one of the trees. He caught Kurosai's scent and smiled a little bit, but his mind was still filled with thoughts of revenge on whoever had set off those bombs.

Novvus felt something moist poke his shin. He opened his eyes sleepily and saw Kurosai's tail disappear around the threshold of the door to. The dark-skinned boy swiftly rose and grabbed the two small scrolls that were on the small table to his left. Once he was out in the hallway, Novvus caught a glimpse of the braided wolf trotting out of the building. He jogged after him, carefully sidestepping the gurneys that supported the wounded.
Once outside, a scene of chaos greeted Novvus. A gray smoky haze hung over the Mist Village. The sunlight shone through a dim yellow. Kaji was sitting on the branch of a nearby tree, a thoughtful expression on his face. Novvus sighed and closed his eyes. "Kaji," he declared, "I received intel on who attacked the village." The dark-skinned boy opened his eyes and looked the feral boy in the eye, a hint of rage in his gaze. "It was the Jiinchuriki Twins, Sai and Sorain Orasakai."

Kaji looked down at Novvus as he approached the tree. The small smile that had been on his face quickly turned into a deep scowl when he was told who had orchestrated the attack. "Two jiinchuriki? Working together?" Kaji paused for a moment before continuing his thought. "I can't go after them" He sighed regretfully as he clenched his fist tightly. "Not yet. I have a village to help rebuild, and protect until it can defend itself. Then I'll rip out their guts and feed them their own intestines!" He growled as he jumped down out of the tree. "Come on Kurosai there's probably still bodies to be retrieved from the wreckage." Kaji said through clenched teeth. With that he and Kurosai left for the demolished residential district.
