Desmond's eyes narrowed at the sound of a very familiar voice. Oh goddamnit. It was Klyde.... Good because he needed help. Bad because he'd never live this moment down now. "Mitsu was screaming from the other side where I couldn't see her and I tried to shove my way in... But it was just a crab. So now I'm stuck."
He sighed. "Instead of shoving this in my face, why don't you just help me?"
Riyo peeked out from behind Klyde, not even trying to hide her amused grin. "Hey Mitsu, how's the weather back there?"
Kohaku looked intrigued by the idea of an abandoned church. It wasn't like she hadn't been to places equally creepy, after all.
"Surprising since you seem to investigate everything, Mr. Faryn." The vampire commented and looked around. He had to wonder where Suto happened to be... "Ah, the sun will be going down shortly. Was there somewhere the two of you wanted to go?" He asked, continuing his walk down one of the beaten trails.

Ah so it was just Riyo and Klyde. Well maybe the other vampire could uncork this plug so that the others could finally be free from this mess. Not really able to do anything, Shun just stood by quietly.
The one crab Shun had kicked off of him seemed to have come around now. And it was now scuttling towards the crevice as if trying to get back to its brethren. However, there was a big fleshy creature in its path. As some attempt to get it out of the way, it started to got at it with its pincher.
---
"I hadn't had much of a chance to look," he replied with a shrug. That little comment was probably due to Suto complaining about him sneaking around here and there.
"Not particularly, though I guess there is that place you just mentioned."

"Just a crab huh?" Klyde chuckled at the idea, though inwardly he was starting to wonder. Was Desmond having the same trouble he was? From the sounds of it he had tried to go help her even though he obviously couldn't get to her....but he had tried anyway. "Alright, alright. Hold on." The crevice was too small for him to get very far so he turned to Riyo. "Care to help out? Think you can squeeze in there and grab a hold of him so that I can help pull you both out?" It would give him better leverage that way and he knew now that Riyo was anything but weak. She should be able to hold on and help pull him free.
"Umm...weather?" Mitsu looked about as if contemplating it. "Its....damp." She said honestly to answer Riyo's question. Intending to wait, Mitsu leaned against the wall beside Desmond and Bent-tail hoping it wouldn't take much to get Desmond free. But listening to the answer he had given Klyde she blushed a little. So...he had tried to come help her? Smiling softly she was really touched by that idea.
About to utter a word of thanks, Mitsu fell silent when she heard something at Desmond's feet. Eyes wide she spotted the crab and it was a fairly good sized one. "B...Ben, they are coming from the other side too." Mitsu said taking a step back toward the other cave. At least there she could maneuver around.
Suto had managed to finally move from the safety of the bus to the safety of the medical cabin. He didn't look all to pleased as he pulled out a bottle of sun screen and applied another layer. "I don't know why I come to these things." Oh well, it least it would give him a chance to keep an eye on some of the students he was working with...whether they knew it or not. "So tell me Atticus, how is work?" The science teacher asked casually. "Would you consider yourself busy this year or have you been lucky so far?" A simple and less suspicious way of asking if there had been sick children. He knew there were bound to be a few though he wasn't sure how many just yet. Everyone progressed differently.

Desmond didn't say anything about how she was screaming or how he thought it was some sort of rapist hobo... The sooner he forgot about this the better, he supposed.
"Yeah, I'll help." Riyo said confidently and made her way into the small crevice. It was a little tight on her chest, but she was able to get in there enough to reach Desmond.
The vampire sighed and rolled his eyes. "And what the hell is she gonna do?" He asked, seeing as Mitsu couldn't even make him budge even with the rat helping.
Riyo's eyes narrowed as she grabbed his arm with both of her hands. "I'll show you what I'm gonna do, tubby." With a twist and a pop of her back, she started to pull, bracing her feet against a rise in the rock formations.
Desmond gritted his teeth as it felt like somebody was trying to pull an arm out of its socket. "JEEZ." He exclaimed, momentarily distracted by something at his feet. "Back off crab!"
He tried to kick the crab away, but it was hard to do with his confined space. Damn crabs. If only they made shampoo for this kind.
Atticus looked up from his book as somebody else walked in. He'd expected to see another beaten up kid... But what he got was the creepy scientist. "Work? What work? I bandage kids boo boos and send them out to get more." He sighed. Suto had never really given him any trouble, he supposed... Though he always seemed to take an interest in how the kids were fairing. Funny, since he didn't seem much like the caring kind. "So far I've only had a few scraped knees and one kid the cat dragged in, literally." That seemed to be the phrase of the day. "I think somebody beat the tar out of Mr. Faryn, but he kept lying about it. Seems to be the trend these days..."
As the doctor glanced off into space, he seemed to remember something. "Hm. Miss Whitebird hasn't come by to take her medicine yet." Grabbing the bag that was conveniently next to his chair, he dug around and pulled out a few pill bottles. "That could be problematic."
Nothing more romantic than a stroll around a cemetery, Lou mused to himself with a smirk. Though, even he wasn't sure if the place actually existed. He'd generally tried to stay inside this time of day and at night... Well... He had other things in mind.
"What do you say, Miss Whitebird?" He asked in another ironic phrasing of words as he turned his head to look at her.
Kohaku... Didn't look as perky as she did a few minutes ago. The girl let out a nasty cough and stopped walking.
"Hm. Something wrong?"
Kohaku gave a weak nod a the question. She'd forgotten her medicine again... Quietly and slowly, she flipped through her notebook and held up a 'need medicine' sign.

Watching Riyo as she went in to tug at Desmond, Shun had to wonder how successful she'd be. So far it didn't seem to be of much use.
"Ah.. dun worry Mitsu, just stay put f'now. Lemme know if any get too close t'ye," nodded Bent-Tail before moving forth to try and shove Desmond out while the cat pulled. It might help a little at least.
The crab was kicked once, but that didn't stop it. The persistent bugger went right back at harassing the vampire's ankles.
'Need medicine'? Was Kohaku sick? Well, she certainly didn't look so well right now even though she looked fine a couple minutes ago. That cough didn't sound very pleasant at all and her movements seemed feeble.
"Maybe we should just head back to the camp," frowned Blade. Most likely she would have her medicine there; either at her tent or with Atticus.

"You'd be surprised what she can do," The grin he sported could have meant any number of things but he failed to further elaborate. Once Riyo was situated and started to pull Klyde moved in as close as he could to wrap an arm around her waist. Bracing himself against the outer wall he began to pull as well. Now they just had to play tug of war with the crevice with Desmond starring as the rope. Hope his arm could hold out on the abuse.
Mitsu looked at the crab warily as it came back for more. She did her best to stay put like Bent-tail had told her to but she couldn't help but edge back another step just to have some clearance.
----
"Mr. Faryn? He does seem to have a knack for finding trouble." When Atticus mentioned something about a Ms. Whitebird, Suto immediately remembered the little mute. Lou's new interest of sorts. He did his best to suppress a maddening smile as it tried to creep along his features. If anything, his smile let known what little sanity he had left. "I'm sure she's around." Suto said confidently. "Would you like me to take them to her?" He tried his best to play the concerned teacher, but it really wasn't a look that suited him well. Very out of place.

Desmond's eyes seemed to widen as the amount of force attempting to pull him out doubled. What, that had been just her before? The girl's arms looked like ******** twigs! How could she p-
And that was when Desmond flew out of the crevice hurling straight towards the people who rescued him...
BOOM!
That was quite a collision... So how had Desmond still managed a soft landing? Upon opening his eyes, he realized everything was black. Sure, he was in a cave... But he had night vision... So... Wait.
He was going to sit up, but his arm was in immense pain. "... I've fallen and I can't get up." He mumbled. His voice was muffled somewhat. Was he laying on somebody... oh. OH!
Riyo was totally going to sit up... Until she felt something heavy on her. Rubbing her head, she looked down and... There was Desmond. Head so perfectly placed in the middle of her chest. "G-Get off!" She shouted angrily. It wasn't clear if the red on her face was from being pissed off or embarrassed.
"I can't. I think my arm is broken." In reality, it was probably just out of socket, but being a vampire he was rarely injured badly so he had no idea how that felt.
Riyo only became angrier at his piss poor excuse. Taking him by the good shoulder, she pushed him off herself. If he had been a human, it probably would've been enough of a push to make him hit the cave wall close by, but luckily he was able to resist and just sat up. "How the hell are you that strong?" He asked with an accusing glance.
"I eat spinach." Was her sarcastic answer.
------ Lou's fake frown made an appearance at Kohaku's sudden spell of sickness. "Yes, we probably should." He sighed, offering the girl his arm. "Come along, we'll get you your medicine." He assured her.
Kohaku smiled and nodded, taking Lou's arm to help balance herself. She hated being sick... It had been this way since she was a child...
----- At first, Atticus was just going to say that she was probably just late and on her way... But that might not be the case... And the school payed him to stay there in case any children were in immediate need of medical attention. "If you really want to." The doctor agreed and poured out the dose she needed in his hand, offering it to Suto when he was done. Really, he wasn't supposed to do this... But there weren't many other choices here.

Well that was amusing to watch in the least, and it was certainly impressive that Riyo managed to pull him free like that. The girl was deceptively strong. It was a good thing he had stepped away earlier too. Shun approached the two on the ground and it seemed that Desmond had been injured through all of that.
"Go on 'ead Mitsu," said Bent-Tail, letting her leave through the crevice first since the crabs were making her nervous.
Speaking of which, the one crab that was harassing Desmond had been kicked off somewhere when he popped out of the hole.
Watching Kohaku and Lou, Blade went on and followed the two back towards the camp. He couldn't help but feel a little creeped out here, if only because of what he had overheard that night. If it weren't for that, he probably wouldn't be bothered at all with Lou's kindness.
"Shouldn't take too long to get back to camp, so just hang in there, alright?"

Klyde had fallen back but had managed to keep his footing. "Well, that seemed to work." Though when his eyes settled on the position Riyo and Desmond had landed in he couldn't help but feel a little....what was the word? Jealous maybe.....damn it.
"Real smooth Desmond," Klyde walked over to help his friend to his feet. Reaching down he took hold of the uninjured arm to help haul him up. "I would appreciate it though if you kept your face out of my girlfriend's boobs. I mean, I haven't even gotten to touch them yet." He whined. Then, idea in mind, he turned to Riyo with the biggest puppy dog eyes he could muster. "Riyo its only fair."
Well, the way was clear now. Nodding to Bent-tail Mitsu only hesitated a moment longer before she emerged from the crevice having no trouble moving through it. It paid off from time to time being small with no figure. "Ah, Desmond!" Making her way to his side she looked at the injured arm in question. "D...do you really think its broken? We should probably go to the nurse shouldn't we?" Her face was the picture of worry though she had managed to miss the face to boob moment.
As she continued to look at his shoulder the tears started to gather in her eyes. "I..I'm sorry. If I had stayed out here....you wouldn't have tried to follow." She was quick to take the blame on herself. "Is there anything we can do in the mean time?" She looked at Bent-tail, he was used to fighting so he probably got hurt from time to time, perhaps he knew.
-----
"It would be my pleasure," Suto took the medication and sadly drew out a fresh clean vial to store the pills in for the mean time. Sealing it tight he put it in the pocket of his lab coat for safe keeping. Really, he just couldn't seem to part with the thing. Hot or cold he always had it on....he probably slept in the damn thing. "I'll be sure she gets this then. I'll take my leave now to find her."
Shuffling back to the door Suto hesitated a moment before heading outside. It was incredibly bright out today so when he finally did move to leave he flinched from the light. One would think he was a vampire from the way he acted. Closing the door behind himself he left in search of Ms. Whitebird, a cruel smile twisting its way across his face. "I think we should play a little game." Suto mused to himself.

As Desmond was pulled up, the big tear in his jacket and shirt was obvious. Damn... And he'd really liked this jacket. Carefully, he unbuttoned what was left to button and took it off, carefully maneuvering around his 'broken' arm. "Yeah, well. I had no desire to stick my face in your... Your what?" His eyebrow raised almost to his hairline. What the hell was he thinking?
When Mitsu approached, he smiled to reassure her. "Nonono. It's alright. Don't cry because of me." The vampire lifted his good arm and placed his hand on her head. "I'm sure I'll be fine."
Riyo's eyes narrowed as she was suddenly bombarded with the puppy dog face to... Touch her chest. "Yeah. I don't think so." Her voice was firm, like she wasn't even gonna give it a second thought. Anyways...
"That's not broken. The arm is just out of it's socket... Baby." Riyo pointed out.
Desmond looked over at her with narrowed eyes and turned. "And how would you know?"
"Because the injury makes sense with what we were just doing... And it's not like you landed on anything hard." Her scowl made it obvious that she was still not pleased about that...
"And what do you propose we do about that?"
"Pop it back in. It's real easy." She neglected to mention that it hurt like a b***h, though.
----
Kohaku nodded softly at Blade's reassurance and tried to keep up with Lou, who had a good grip on her arm. At least she wouldn't fall this way, she supposed...
Eventually, they made it back to the camp and onto a clearer path. Lou had been heading for the nurses cabin... But spotted someone along the way. "Well, hello Mr. Adolphus~" Lou said with a toned down smile, trying to do his best not to grin like a lunatic. He generally saved the nicknames for when they were alone.

Once Mitsu had gone through, Bent-Tail went on ahead as well. Though seeing the tears well up in her eyes, he shook his head and gave her a light pat on the shoulder.
"Desmond's a big boy, dun worry t'much. Like Riyo said, jus' gotta pop 'is arm back in place. It'll be sore f'awhile but 'ell be jus' fine," he nodded.
One thing for certain, Shun did not envy the vampire right now. He had dislocated his shoulder before and it was not a pleasant experience. Frowning, he just went ahead and braced himself for whatever screams might come out of the boy when it happened.
As Suto came into view, Blade paused and glanced at the others with him briefly. He was never really too pleased to be in the presence of the science teacher, but he did his best to not show it right now. What he wanted to know was what Suto was doing outside for once. The thief almost never saw the man getting fresh air.

Mitsu nodded a little bringing up her arm to wipe her eyes. There wasn't much she could do and obviously crying wouldn't help. At least from what Riyo and Ben were saying it wasn't too serious.
"My girlfriend." Klyde confirmed when Desmond asked not really thinking about how bad he had made the situation for himself.
After being denied Klyde began to pout. "That's not fair at all." As the conversation gravitated back to Desmond, Klyde decided to throw in his two cents and try to reassure Mitsu as well. "He should be fine within an hour of popping it back into place. We heal pretty quickly." Though he had no idea what to expect from the pain having never experienced something of that magnitude. Oh well, at least it wasn't him.
----
"Ah Lou," Well, he certainly didn't have to go very far. A short walk and the vampire had the person he needed in tow....but what was with the parasol? Looking to the children at the vampire's side Suto was surprised to see Blade among them. What in the devil was he doing with the Lou? "It seems I am in luck that you have Miss Whitebird with you. I have been given the job of delivery boy." Reaching into his pocket Suto pulled out the vial that contained her medicine. He obviously hadn't had it long enough to do anything to it, but Lou didn't know that. "I just so happen to have her medicine with me. Atticus was worried when she hadn't come to get it." Casually he held out the vial for her to take, only shortly looking up to see Lou's expression.
"I happen to have something for you as well, Mr. Faryn." Suto reached into another pocket, his slender fingers moving over the vials he had there that stored a number of things. Which one to choose, which one to choose. He could only really tell by the small notches etched into the lid of the vials as to what they contained without seeing them. "Mr. Rall said you had a little scuffle earlier and wanted me to give you these to help with pain." Pulling out another vial it appeared to contain little white pills, not unlike Tylenol. Holding it out toward the boy, Suto waited to see if he would actually take it. Blade wasn't the most trusting. "I'm sure you know the drill with pain medicine. Take one to two, no more than eight in a twelve hour period."

Pop it back in? A little sore? Well, he was a vampire, and therefore sure he could handle it.
And that was when Riyo popped up right next to him, took hold of his 'injured' arm, and shoved it back in as hard as she could to assure she wouldn't have to do it again. Along with an audible 'pop!' sound, the vampire let out a blood-curdling scream that echoed through the whole cave and probably scared any birds, bats, and warm-blooded animals surrounding the cave out and off.
"You ******** b***h..." He spat out with a clenched fist as if he was fighting every desire to hit her. His arms were shaking from what he just went through. Never in his life had he felt such pain. NEVER. So it was only natural for him to feel that way.
Riyo folded her arms and rolled her eyes at his insult. "Well, this ******** b***h just saved you a trip to the nurses office... Not that wimpy Atticus would've been able to do it. Skinny-armed little-"
"What are you?" Desmond's tone was still very angry, though at least he'd fought the desire to punch her in the mouth.
"Me?" Riyo asked, understanding the question but very obviously choosing not to answer honestly. "Just your average teenager with nothing to hide."
Lou's eyebrow raised ever-so-slightly as Suto ended up with Kohaku's medication. He knew Suto... And that meant he knew Suto liked to tamper with people's medications whenever given the chance... So what had he done to it?
Kohaku appeared surprised to see her medication at first, but took it from Suto with a warm smile and popped the vial. There was a water bottle in her backpack which she used to chase the pills. Looked like she'd done it more than a few times. Replacing the lid, she offered it back to Suto, holding up a little card that read 'Thank you~'. Another one she used often, apparently.
Lou hid his nervousness as he watched the girl take the medicine. Had he given her something that would mess with her personality? Make her sicker? What?!
"How nice of you to bring them their medicine, Suto." Lou finally managed to say, a certain look of displeasure in his eyes. Honestly, Lou didn't interfere with Suto's fun, why did the scientist have to put a damper on his?

Despite expecting it, Shun still cringed at that blood-curdling scream Desmond had let out. Gritting his teeth once it was over due to his ear ringing from the loud noise, he let out a sigh and stared at the others. Again he did not envy him for that at all.
Bent-Tail couldn't help but wince a little at that as well. But it could have been much worse he supposed.
"Well, now that's o'er... wot ya'll suppose we do now?"
Blade's level of wariness raised when Suto had brought pills for Kohaku. So he knew of her medication it seemed. Though, it seemed that he also had brought some pain pills for him. On a normal basis he wouldn't accept pills from the guy, but it seemed that Atticus really did give him the medications to deliver this time around. He still wasn't too certain, but he slowly took the vial for now anyway. The pills looked normal, and well, with the way his body felt, some pain killers would be nice.
As he thought on it more, he didn't think Suto would try to pull anything drastic on the students. Those snacks he had been feeding everyone still didn't seem to do anything bad to anyone after all...
With some level of hesitation, he went and popped two of the pills for now.

Mitsu had no idea what to expect. Popping his arm back into place sounded simple enough, but as soon as Riyo had actually done it her eyes went wide. Not just from the sickening sound but also from the scream that Desmond emitted. As soon as he started cursing her eyes dulled out into 'deer in headlights' mode. He must have been in a lot of pain to be that angry, what....what should she say? Another word of apology was on the tip of her tongue but as soon as she started to open her mouth no words came out. The phrase she had thought of had quickly jumbled in her mind until it no longer made sense or....did she often sound that silly? It was hard to say.
"Sorry," She said blankly, her face torn between confusion and worry. It took a few more seconds and for Bent-tail to speak for her to regain some sense of reality. Blinking once, her eyes settled on her rat friend. "I...I don't know." There were her words, why was it so easy to speak now? "Maybe we should head back, they will probably be having dinner soon and there's supposed to be a bonfire this evening." Eyes turning back to Desmond with worry she also added, "It would probably give Desmond a chance to rest."
"Holy hell," Klyde rubbed at his now ringing ears. The popping sound had been rather unexpected but so had the scream. Who knew Desmond could scream like a b***h? He watched as Riyo and Desmond exchange words focusing on Riyo's last comment. Nothing to hide, huh? It seemed to him she had plenty to hide though he didn't say a word.
"I guess heading back is fine," Klyde turned to the silent one. "Unless you have a suggestion?" He really didn't expect Shun to answer, the boy had never really talked to him before. As far as he knew the rat did all the talking for him.
---
Medicine distributed, Suto stuffed his hands in his pockets. "You are welcome, Miss Whitebird." How adorable to play the responsible adult. "Try not to forget your medicine again." A smile started to take hold but he was able to hold it back. In the end it looked like he had a bit of a face twitch as he looked up toward the setting sun. "If you'll excuse me. I'll be in the teacher's cabin....waiting for the sun to go down." He was not one of the staff that enjoyed the camping experience and preferred to have a least a little bit of civilized living if he had to be here.
As soon as Suto turned to head in that direction that cruel smile he had been holding back finally spread like the plague across his face. It twisted up around his jaw in a wide grin showing that his teeth in the back were not very human at all. "Do stay out of trouble, Mr. Faryn." He managed to keep his voice normal but did not turn to look at Blade. Instead he started walking toward his cabin, leaving Lou to wonder what he had done. Game start, how will it end?
