Five points to Gothica of Huffelpuff for her completion of the lesson. Please gather a jar off of the top of my desk.
*I turn my attention to the rest of the class*
Now that many of you have completed the task of returning your needles to their original forms, we can begin the next lesson.
In your jars, you should all have a live beetle. I trust that you can cast Engorgio.
Please be aware of the power of your spell. I don't want student sized incests having free reign over the classroom.
Once your beetle has perhaps doubled in size, I would like you to transfigure it into the form of a button.
*I erase the previous incantations from the board and replace them with "FIBULA"*
A warning students, since the beetles are alive and well, it will prove a bit more challenging to transfigure it into an inanimate object.
Points awarded for this lesson:

*Looks at her beetle* I'm going to name you Ringo. *Inhales* Okay. This is a bit more difficult, but it can't be that hard! Engorgio *The beetle doubles in size* Now then. *She imagines Ringo slowly flattening and getting rounder, shinier* Fibula!*The beetle succeeds in flattening, and condenses its three body segments into one, but still retains its legs and antennae* It looks like I mushed him!

*I watched amused at the deflated beetle scurries across Liviana's desk*
Not a bad first try. I think another attempt may have better results.
*I flick my wand at the beetle and it regains it's original appearance save for the fact that it's now larger.*

*Writes down the new spell and what it’s for, reach’s into the jar and pulls out the beetle, pointing my wand at it I mutter.*
” Engorgio”
*The beetle grows to about the size of two Galleons’ wide*
*I point my wand again at the beetle, concentrating hard on the image of a button, and say’s*
” FIBULA.”
*The beetle starts to morph slowing into a flat shape, followed by the appearance of four holes, after a few more seconds the beetle is now a red and black button*
(disappears again)

*She eyes Ringo determinedly as the beetle scurries around unaware across the desk* Okay, let's give it another go. *She focuses on Ringo's body rounding out, flattening, and looking so much like a button she could sew it to her robe.* Fibula! *Ringo becomes a round button, perfect as any to add to a garment* There! *She smiles*

*Smiling at Liviana, I admire her fine beetle turned button*
I think Ringo makes a fine button. Five points to Ravenclaw.

"I do enjoy watching Muggle entertainment, with my Mum being Muggle born and my dad being a "pure" they thought it best that I experience both sides of the coin, so I'd be a more well rounded individual.
Although Coraline was a movie that I never saw."

Aludra Yvette... "Never actually saw Coraline but my dad did try to presuade me to watch it... Mum had a complete cow." she said in a saddened voice. Aludra opened her jar and let the black beetle crawl onto her fingers and up her arm. "Your a bit on the runty side, Voldy." she cooed to the beetle, positioning her wand over him. "Engorgio." The once tiny beetle had grown at least twice it size but was still a tiny bit smaller then the rest. "Can I keep him?" Aludra had begun to pet the bug on it beedy head. ...6th Year Slytherin

*Races to the front of the classroom, examines the jar, and takes it back to seat* Thank you Professor! *Opens the jar and gently coaxes the beetle out with soft mutterings* Hm... *Focusing on a large, blue button, points wand at the beetle* Fibula! *The beetle transforms into a button* Excellent! Can I change the colour of the button as well?

Hm, it's a cute one...I think I'll call him Zant. Engorgio.
Zant doubles in size, and I pat him on the head...
You know, I wouldn't mind keeping mine too.
I point my wand at him, and concentrate. Fibula.
Zant shivers, and transforms into a silver button...

Aludra Yvette... She frowned and pointed her wand at her newly named pet. "Sorry about this buddy." she said before tapping her wnad on the beetles head. Aludra concentrated on Voldy turning into a shiney black button with four perfectly formed holes. Fibula she said in a hushed voice, the beetle's legs shot into his body and his rounded body became flat. Aludra picked up the button and frowned. "My poor beetle." ...6th Year Slytherin

-Nub headed up to professors desk and as she turns she trips dropping the jar and all of its contents-
"IM GOOD!!"
-nub pats herself off and points her wand at the jar-
"Reparo"
-The jar reassembles itself looking good as new and nub quickly catches the beetle-
"Ugh, why am I so clumsy? Now I look like a prat", she mutters and heads back to her desk embarrassed. She
looks at the beetle (now named Henery) and says
"Engorgio", Henry grows to a size about as big as an egg.
Nub pointed her wand and said "Fibula" Henry then starts transforming into a shiny red button. Nub inspects it,
"Hey it only has 3 holes" -facepalm-
