Speed:11 Strength:8 Energy:550 Dante raised an eyebrow. It surprised him that Athrun was a phoenix, because he had heard most phoenixes were insane. But, as always there were a few exceptions he supposed. He looked Athrun up and down, assessing the stance. From here, he could learn what Athrun was going to do usually. Then, Dante figured he may as well fire off a shot in his other gun, just to make his clips even. He shot this once again, into the middle of the after images.
((Just wondering. I thought that phoenixes were usually insane.)) I will not bow, I will not break

☼Pix Ban☼[> Normal theme<] Battle themeYuran//Biochemist//Adept//Human  Ether move aside or talk to my pets..... ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄Pix headed over to the Palace, seeing if there's anything she can do. Maybe some mission that she could do as she get some more stuff to make her potions. But it seam like she'll wont do any of that any time soon. For from a distant, she saw Athrun and a other man having his weapons and such drawn at to a man. She remember seeing that white hair man, back from Nocturne nation when she was asking where the king is.
It looks like a fight, but a bit more slower than a the kind to fight to the death. Gun fire been easily heard from the shot, showing that it's truelly a weapon to weapon fight. Something that Pix can't help in battle. She would be very much be in the way than any help in the fight. Pix doesn't know that this was a spar, witch is why she keeping her distant from them. She'll just watch and see how things will turn out.

The boy had impecable aim, not as good as his mother who was a gunslinger, but nevertheless it was fairly decent. As he stepped to the side, Athrun spun his body in a single fluid motion, bringing his kodachi behind him as he took a step forward. Coming out of the spin, Athrun launched his kodachi forward straight at Dante. He suddenly made a single movement with his other hand, secretly launching his second kodachi behind his first. The tip of the second kodachi slammed into the hilt of the first, sending it flying even faster as the first kodachi was now nearing Dante, the second secretly behind it.
•Onmyō Hasshi: (Dusk to Dawn Strike) C Rank: The user throws both kodachi at the opponent, hitting the end of the first one with the second one for an extra boost of speed. The second kodachi is hidden directly behind the first. So the opponent would only see one kodachi heading for them in their line of sight.

Speed:11 Strength:8 Energy:500 Dante saw both Kodachi speeding toward him at a rather fast rate. instead of trying to block them, he did the simple thing and did a jump sort of a sidestep out of the way. He looked at the kodachi as they sped past him and noticed there were two. This Athrun was a more ingenius fighter than he looked. Dante then crouched in a defensive stance, waiting for Athrun to run out of his after image bit. He figured it would not be long from now, and then he would go all out. I will not bow, I will not break

Using a bit of common sense, Tsubasa figured that the best place to find the king would be the palace. The girl stepped into the spacious entrance hall and asked a passing servant who seemed to be in quite a rush. To be specific, she seemed to be in quite a panicked rush. Figuring that she shouldn't pry, the girl went straight to her question, "Excuse me, but where could I find the kind?".
The servant's face got visibly paler. "Oh no. Oh now," the maid mumbled, half to herself and half to Feather, "Now is not the best time. I think it'd be best if you waited a bit."
"Why?" the girl blurted out before she could help herself. Sora, quite unusually, did nothing to stop her sudden question. He, too, couldn't help but be curious.
The maid stayed silent for a moment, feeling unsure as to whether or not she should tell such a young girl about the violence that was happening within the castle. Tsubasa recognized the reluctance and so, to satisfy her curiosity, she made to head deeper into the castle, "It's alright. You don't need to tell me, I'll figure it out myself."
"Wait! Stop!" the maid squeaked, not wanting to have the girl endanger herself.
Tsubasa stopped, but not for the maid. No, now in her new position, she could clearly hear the metallic clangs and other tell-tale sounds of a fight. Blame the echoes that the architecture of the building but what the girl didn't have a clue about before she clearly knew now and if it wasn't for Sora's warning, {Your face,} she would have shown her fearful understanding as the maid bustled in front of her to block off her path.
"Th-there is a fight inside the castle currently, so it is best not to intrude," the maid explained breathlessly. At first, the maid had been so intent on keeping Feather in the dark to preserve her childish innocence. Why would a child need to know of fights and whatnot in the castle. Now, though, there wasn't much in protecting innocence if Feather was going to purposely stumble onto the fight and perhaps get harmed. The maid finished, "If you would please, I could take you to a place where you could rest peacefully," she noticed the lute, "Maybe a soundproof room where you can play your instrument?".
Feather's eyes widened in the perfect act of surprise as the maid explained what she already knew. After hearing the news, she was free to show her true emotions and responded shakily, "E-erm, yes, thank you. But before that," the girl tossed a quick look behind her shoulder, "who is fighting who?". As usual, she wanted to avoid as many fights as possible, but if it involved anyone she cared for....
The maid hesitated as she continued leading the girl to the room she had in mind. After deciding that it was alright to say, the woman replied, "The king of Yuran and some fighter from Nocturne are fighting. Don't worry, though, Nocturne and Yuran are currently in a neutral treaty where each country can use the other country for mission and whatnot. This fight is just part of it."
Feather nodded quietly but relaxed considerably. She trusted that the king, being the king, would be able to take care of himself, or not.... Still, she allowed herself to be taken to the spare room where she waited for her chance to report the findings of her mission to Arthrun.

Without his kodachis he was no longer able to perform the afterimage movements, but yet now, he would fight head on. Freedom would be useless against Dante, since even if he did cast illusions, Dante's sense of smell would be able to detect the real Athrun. His best bet was to use his katana...or better yet Destiny. Athrun reached behind his back and brought his greatsword, the one he had attained from killing the Ogre Warrior when he graduated to Adept. "I thank you Dante, that was a wonderful warm up. It's been a while since I have been challenged with a good fight. Now I will not keep you any longer with silly games. This time I fight seriously," Athrun told him apologetically as Athrun's energy began seeping out of the very pores of his body. Grasping Destiny tightly with both hands, he brought it behind him preparing to swing the blade, his energy going into the sword itself. ⊱

====Dante ☠ Cayenyne==== Speed:11 Strength:8 Energy:500 Dante smiled for a moment. He loved battles like this. Where he was evenly matched, and where his opponent was good. "Yeah just no hard feelings when I win." He said with a chuckle before pulling both guns up and using theskill rapid chain. He of course didn't aim for the king's head, but in his general left side of his chest and abdomen area. When Dante was finished, he pressed the button on both of his guns, and both of the empty clips fell out and struck the ground.

Description: Quite simply this: In a matter of three seconds you fire out all of the bullets in the current Revolver, can be done with both. The sheer rapidity of these shots means you fire all of them at one target stationary target, by this I mean in their last post they are not running around they stood still or they are running at you in a STRAIGHT line. The problem of the enemy here is usually if they get hit by one bullet they get hit by the rest and shields would usually start cracking due to the impact.

Without hesitation, Athrun clasped his sword even tighter and used his massive strength to bring the blade crashing down. "DESTINY STRIKE!" Athrun called out as the energy in which he was charging exploded out of the tip of his sword. A blade of pure and condensed energy traveled through the ground, stretching vertically upwards and reaching six feet as it cut through the very earth. As Dante fired his bullets, the Destiny Strike sailed straigh towards him, cutting through the bullets he had sent out in a single line. Though Rapid Chain was a powerful skill for a gun wielder, even bullets could be cut down, especially when they were traveling from a single direction. The bullets fell in halves onto the floor as the Destiny Strike continued to sail through towards Dante.
Destiny
Type: Greatsword
Description: Destiny is a Greatsword with immense power, and only one with a righteous heart can wield it (someone who is predominantly good.) The sword is almost alive and its power grows along with the user who wields it, acessing more and more power with every rank the wielder grows. The Greatsword Destiny also has a special skill that the wielder can access...the Destiny Strike. Just like the wielder who becomes stronger and stronger with rank, so does the Destiny Strike.
Destiny Strike
E-S Rank
Description: The Destiny Strike is a powerful Greatsword skill that uses the wielder's energy. The energy charge takes one post, and during that charge the wielder can not perform any energy based attacks or skills. After fusing the wielder's energy and depending on how much energy the user puts the power of the Destiny Strike increases. However, there is a limitation. The wielder can not infuse any more energy than his own rank, for the sword is as strong as the wielder. Meaning, a trainee can't fuse D Rank energy into the sword, for the sword itself is E Rank.
Adept C Rank: It is here that the Destiny strike evolves into something much more powerful than before, just like the wielder himself. At this rank, by fusing the sword with C Rank energy and swinging it downwards, the sword erupts from its tip a blade of condensed energy. This blade travels along the ground in a vertical manner, cutting through the earth and stands at six feet from the ground. It is an attack that can cut through even the toughest of shields, but it is still a C Rank attack.

Speed:11 Strength:8 Energy:550 Dante scowled when he saw his attack didn't work. He dove to the side, reloading his guns as he popped back up. He knew that the same trick wouldn't work twice, so he was now thinking. He wanted to stay as far away from the swordmaster as possible, but something told him he wasn't going to be able to. He figured he may as well get the jump on the king. He suddenly vanished, using the dash ability. It wasn't actually teleporting, just a method of fast movement. A split second later, he was a meter above the king, slashing his dual swords downwards at the kings shoulders.

Athrun at that moment dropped his Greatsword and took to his katana. His right hand hovered over the hilt as his left pressed tightly upon the sheath. Athrun's left thumb was now bent beneath the scabbard of the sword. "Hiten Mistsurugi Style!" Athrun exclaimed as his legs were already placed in position due to his downwards strike before. That was in fact the true power of a Weapon master, every strike was crafted so perfectly that it was easy to chain different attacks together, using different weapons simultaneously. Upon Dante appearing above him, Athrun flicked his thumb, his right hand taking ahold of his sword as it exploded from its sheath. "Battoujutsu!" Athrun finished as he twisted his waist. He wasn't using this skill to kill Dante however, but to parry against his attack. Athrun's blade clashed with Dante's dual swords, the clanging echoing through the entire area as his left hand held tightly to the sheath of his sword. Rising his sheath upwards, Athrun aimed to strike at Dante with the very sheath, using a Double Batttoujutsu technique to cripple Dante's left arm should the sheath strike.
Battoujutsu (Instant Sword Draw)
C rank
To use this technique the user must place the right leg in front of the left leg to avoid cutting your own leg. This is an instant draw technique, ussually used for countering, since the user does not move from his spot. In a stance form and waiting for an opponent with the correct timing, a powerful swing with the twist of waist. This technique is extremely lethal and difficult to dodge unless the opponent has great reaction skills.

Speed:11 Strength:8 Energy:500 Dante's eyes widened as he saw Athrun's sheath coming for his arm. he by no means meant for the fight to end this early. What was the point of such a short fight anyways? he moved his right sword, using it to intercept Athrun's sheath. He then aimed for rapid stabs with both of his swords, using a technique called rapidity. Due to the severe speed of the stabs, Athrun would find them all very hard to dodge. Dante knew that this attack probably wouldn't be very successful, so he had a backup one in case it didn't work.

But he's never had to use speed in order to defeat his foes. The blade pierced through Athrun's shoulders, and due to the fact that the strikes were using speed rather than strength, they did not pierce his body as badly. Not to mention, Athrun's skin was actually quite strong due to the fact that he was a Phoenix. The stabs were mere flesh wounds as blood exploded from his body. The blood dripped down from his body, tainting Dante's sword and even some of his blood got onto Dante since they were at such a close range. At this point, Athrun needed to get away from Dante, put some distance in order to recompose himself. Athrun's feet exploded as he was proppeled backwards and away from Dante. It was increased speed, quite a huge boost for a swordsman. As he put distance between himself and Dante, Athrun came to a sudden halt, his breathing becoming heavier as blood dripped from his shoulders and unto the ground beneath him. He kept his eyes closely upon Dante to see what his next move was going to be, still clutching onto his katana since he had left his greatsword behind. Athrun realized that he had left his sword behind and had also gotten some of his blood on it, and Dante could very well pick the blade up and use the sword against him should Dante be one of a good heart.

Speed:11 Strength:8 Energy:500 Now that Athrun was at a farther range, Dante saw another oppurtunity. While not exactily the best one, he figured he may as well try it. If it didn't work, he had yet another back up plan ready. The only reason he was attempting this was because Athrun had dropped his greatsword. And while he didn't know if Athrun could still use destiny strike, he figured that it would be weakened if he was using a katana. Before the king was even finished backing up, he tried another rapid chain, emptying his entire clip at the kings midsection and left side. He would try for the right side, but he knew that he might shoot the king through the heart.

Taking hold of his katana, he knew without his Destiny blade he can not perform the destiny strike once more. Instead he was going to have to rely on his katana. "Hiten Mitsurugi Style!" Athrun cried out as he rose his blade out in front of him. Suddenly his right hand began moving at incredible speeds, hacking the air in front of him with great force and precision. "Ryu-Sou-Sen!" Athrun finished as his sword clanged against every single bullet shot at him. Unfortunately however, Athrun still had much to learn and much to improve in his swordplay, letting by the last two bullets as they struck at his shoulder and midsection. Athrun inched back several centimeters from the force of the bullets, his face cringing slightly in pain from the bullet entering inside his body. Thankfully though they were both flesh wounds, it would seem Dante really was serious about not killing. Athrun was still standing, blood trickling down his chest and unto the ground, but his breathing was becoming more and more heavy.
