M o u r n ii n g W o o d I dont wanna go find it and I'm about to eat. xD Yet again, its irrelevant. Putting on drawbacks doesn't change the effect, which is metagaming. He has to touch people, which isn't as common here as you would think, to be able to gain all of that information. Urban, how about since I am your equal with this stuffs, then our abilities don't work on each other?

It's my talent. I like it. It in no way, harms anyone. Unless their Rumple Stilt skin and die when you tell them their name. Otherwise, it's utterly harmless. There's no instant kill to it. It doesn't work through clothing. It requires 1/4 of my energy. I can only do it once a day. And I have to touch you to do it. Those were the terms, I and Fenny agreed on.
Now. I don't know what you want me to do about my OWN talent. Take it away? Never use it again? Erase it? Well, there'd be a problem in logic. See, I've already used it, several times. Therefore, altering my talent, would mean altering the story. And in RP's, that kind of hard. So you'll just have to forgive me when I say I can't do anything about it.
Your the only one who has this problem.

@Urban: Metagaming doesn't necessarily mean that it will hurt someone. So your saying that if someone obviously metagamed as long as it didn't hurt anyone you wouldn't reprimand them for metagaming even though its against the rules? As I said. Restriction or not, it still carries out the same act.
True, but still. If someone made a character with some outlandish ability that can kill anyone, and it was accidentally approved through a misunderstanding then they use it on someone, your saying that it would not be taken away because its a conflict of logic?
And? I feel its a problem so I'm adressing it. Its irrelevant whether or not I'm the only one that is adressing it.

Shruikan Tenshi RPC Name: Shruikan Kuroryu Rank: Master Talent Description: Due to the events that went on in Shruikan's life at some point, Shruikan's scales are harder then other draconians. Being able to exceed the normal hardness level (steel), they are now hard as topaz. This makes damage done to Shruikan weaker by one rank, overall making it much more difficult to injure him. However, where benefits come from weaknesses follow Talent Weakness: In the benefit of gaining harder scales for combat and overall appearance, since they are harder they also are now heavier, decreasing Shruikan's speed by one rank, making him slower then he really is. How did the character get this talent?: During the period of two years, Shruikan was wondering about and training in the mountainous ranges. While training he discovered an old man who lived at the top of the mountain. Reaching him, he and the old man conversed, for he seemed well knowledgable in his bloodline and offered to help him. However, he'll have to lose his scales in the process. Shruikan, at first reluctant to do such, agreed. The old man was an master of earth, and also happened to practice biochemistry alittle. The elderly man mixed the dust of an element substance (the one mentioned above) into Shruikan's skin, where his scales would grow back. As time went on, Shruikan's scales grew back though much harder due to the mixed substance, overall changing the structure of the scales. All in all, Shruikan's scales returned stronger then before, at the cost of his speed. Shruikan was very pleased with the results, and thanked the elderly man and took off. Sample: Shruikan wiped his face clean of blood in the small pond that the rocks collected from the previous rainfall. A large animal laid there bleeding what ever life was left in it. Shruikan looked at it and looked at his scales, which had deep grooves in it from the creature's claws. Tch
He continued walking up the mountain path, never roaming this high before but it was adventure for him. However, he noticed small traces of smoke in the air, and shortly a few minutes of climbing he notice a small hut. On the front door, appeared to be a symbol of a dragon clan, which struck Shruikan very curious. Knocking on the door, he expected a middle age man, but instead found an elderly man with a thin, white mustache and beard looking up at him.
he looked at Shruikan for a moment, then smiled and stepped back letting the draconian in. Sitting down Shruikan looked at him. "Are you a draconian?" He inquired, wondering about the man. He chuckled and sat across from him. "I think you already know the question to that young hunter." He said as he notices the grooves in Shruikan's scales. "Bad encounter?" He asked, which Shruikan looked at the scales and huffed. The elderly man laughed and looked at him.
"I remember when I was a youth, I was full of adventure, thinking I can take anything on and know how to deal with it, especially mere wild beasts. Of course, you must remember..." He said as he lifted his robes, revealing a large scar over his chest. "...One must not be so cocky, you must respect everyone you meet, and maintain a clear mind and heart. Over the years, after gaining my battle scar I honed my ways and turned a new leaf over. I believe it is time...Shruikan...you do the same" He said, which surprised the Draconian for he never told the old man his name.
Shruikan caught a glimpse of a necklace, a symbol of the elders. He quickly nodded and bowed slightly. "Forgive me Elder, I never knew. What should I do?" He asked, which the small old man walked up to him and looked at the grooves in his scales. "I'll help you, but to gain something you must lose something. Can you make a sacrifice?" He said, pointing at the scales. Shruikan looked at it with disdain, but nodded. "Yes"
Shruikan sheded his scales, which he now had nothing but skin. The Elder then put him under sleep, and began to work his magic. The earth trembled a bit as he brought his hands deep into the earth, pulling a huge chunk of gem stone which had a fasinating color to it, though his energy surrounded it and turned it black as night, and then broke it down into almost nothing. Then, the energy surrounded Shruikan's body, slowly being brought into his body like water into a sponge, minus the swelling. This took several hours, and finally the green light of energy faded into the blackness of night.
Shruikan woke up, several days later. He looked around and found himself with scales once more. Delighted he stood up, felt a bit wierd though and walked out of the hut, to suddenly see a dagger of steel strike him across the chest. He gasped for a moment, being partly asleep and caught off guard, but notice his scales were not harmed, infact not even a scratch. Looking confused he looked and the Elder, who in turn smiled "Your scales are much harder now, stronger then steel. Keep what I said in mind, steel your mind and body and move on in life." Shruikan nodded and bowed again, taking off down the trail once more. The old man smiled and walked the opposite end, which he fell off the cliff. As he fell, his shadow suddenly exploded into a massive form, and a golden dragon was seen in the sky, missing one leg and long thin mustache.

If you really see this as a problem, go to him. I am biased, therefore will see no logic in your argument if there is logic.

Its either totally -2 or -3. The description says -2, so I guess -3? If so then my speed is now 5. If its actually -2 then still 6.
Personally i like this idea, because though I lose some speed, meh defense is much stronger making up for it.

RPC Name: Suna long Rank: trainee Talent Description: Eastern Draconian - What it basically does, is that they are lighter on their feet than normal western type Draconian, and can move alittle faster than them. (By 3, making it +1 instead of -2.) This, makes it rather unexpected for a Draconian to move faster than average. Though this is true, it puts their flying speed alittle slower, to balance it out. They are known to be bad at fire magics, much better at water and wind magics, and are rather more furry than western, average Draconian. Talent Weakness: -they are more sleepy; needs more sleep for true form (2 day sleep RLT) - Draconian only - have no wings, so they need a post to take off, feather/fur/scales of eastern types fall out of clothing every 5 posts. - sensitive, furry tails - fur on dragon form - weaker scales; replaced with feathers and fur. (AKA lower defense) - cannot breathe fire normally, -5 extra energy for use of fire type dragon breath How did the character get this talent?: born with it Sample:
Suna yawned, as he slumped over, as he walked rather, faster than his kind.... Well, he wasnt from this side of the world, rather to somewhere into the east, from somewhere unknown, and unmapped. He yawned, as he bumped, into a wall, not paying attention where he was going. He was alittle tired, still alittle wobbly from the training for the greater forms. He was young, but he was truly inspiring Draconian, but his uniqueness created problems for him. Most of his kind made him a laughing stock.... they laughed at the fact that he had a furry tail, instead of a normal, scaly one. They wondered, what dragon has fur on their true form..... Suna knew the answer, Eastern ones.... they of course didnt believe the poor child, as he felt alittle outcasted from the world around him. Very, alone. Suna didnt bother to correct them, as he just wanted to be left alone..... he apparently was an abomination of his kind.

(This never got a final answer)
RPC Name: Zane Hajime Rank: Trainee Talent Description: Unlike most Shapeshifter, Zane can actually perform any skill that the opponent knows up to one rank above his own. Meaning, if he is a trainee, he can perform copied skills up to Novice. Talent Weakness: Because of his uncanny talent Zane's own energy is incapable of performing elemental skills without copying someone else's. This means that unless Zane copies another's energy and techniques, Zane can't perform any elemental magic unless it's copied and has no element. How did the character get this talent?: Zane, being a traveler of the world and being a wanderer throughout his entire life, came across many different kinds of energies. His very own ended mutating and adapting to it, and because of this Zane can tap into more of his opponenent's energy than the average copycat. Unfortunately, this mutation came with a price and Zane lost the ability to perform elemental skills on his own. Sample:
"At your level, you can't perform any copied techniques Zane," pointed out July as Zane just finished poking her in the forehead. Zane was a trainee, and if he wanted to escape this horrid woman, he'd just have to humor her and do as he is told. "Except...I can," Zane pointed out. "I may not have an element to call my own, but I have yours," he said as he slammed his palm unto the ground. Suddenly, a slab of rock erupted upwards, levitating in front of him as it acted like a shield. Knowing the extents of this technique, Zane spun and kicked the slab, sending it hurling towards July to prove to her that he didn't need any training and that he was able to perform Novice skills as a Trainee.
Rock shield Rank: D Description: A levitated slab of rock can also double as a shield when positioned in front of an elementalist. This can also be performed as a slab or sheet of bedrock thrust out of the earth's surface. The shield can be hurled at the opponent for a quick retaliation.
