Sunkit's eyes widened in surprise. Then she hissed and fluffed up just as big.
"Well you dont have to get all upset about it. Gosh your so toucy, Dawnkit, learn to lighten up!" she snarled

"Lighten up ...lighten up ...what in the name ...of claws and fang!" "Our Medicine cat is out cold ....we have a fox in our territory, and another cat badly injured." "HOw can anyone take this lightly!"
"If we are injured ...we die. If we are attacked now, we would be helpless, and you just continued as though nothing wrong." "You Mousebrain ....scape of fur ....now isn't the time to lighten up."
Dawnkit declares as her claws slide free of their sheathes in her anger. Her tail bobbing up and down as she punctured each sentences with a small stamp up and down. Dawnkit was completely enraged at this point, especially at the sunny disposition of cat and her want to stay positive.
This wasn't a positive situation.

Sunkit blinked then sat down and licked her fur a couple times.
"Perhaps not. But you shouldn't let the events around you control you so much you lash out at a fellow clan member for making a joke. I understand we arent in the best position right now. But I refuse to let that keep me from going on as I would normally. It just means I have to be that much stronger! For myself and my clan. When times of trouble come you dont freak out that gets you into more trouble. You keep it cool and do what you can! As a kit in the clan I cant do much of course but the second I'm an apprentince that will all change I wont be little sunkit who needs to stay protected. So neither will you. We both need to focus on that. On getting stronger for the clan. Not on the fact that we might be weaker then normal at the current moment in time." Sunkit was pleased at how calm she sounded

Dawnkit's fury seemed to abate with those words, but, then quick as lightning her right paw would come out at Sunkit right ear with claws unsheathed. Her own ears tucked flat against her skull ....as she no longer was fluffed out as she spit the words in Sunkit's face as she came down on all fours once more.
"I hate you."
Even she was surprise at her quick movement.
Though she didn't back down as she turned on her own tail, and started to stalk towards the nursery. She had no clue what kind of injuries she had caused if any, but, she was fuming.
Everything was going wrong, and then ...Sunkit ..of all cats gave her a lecture. A lecture like she was a paw, and Dawnkit was a kit ...though they both were of equal ranks ...she couldn't believe her.
WE both need to be strong?
She didn't want to be a medicine cat, but a Warrior ...Sunkit had no thing to fret. They are a dime a dozen, and there are plenty of mentors for her ...., but if Sunnybreeze died. She would become ..another warrior apprentice, a paw, whom wanted to kill.
She didn't want that.
Though that wasn't the half, what would happen to the clan if there was no medicine cat. Could anyone be so ....so ....if she could have thought of the word to describe her ..she would have as her tail remained bottled as she started to walk away.

Sunkit snapped. She charged after Dawnkit and bowled her over. "YOU KNOW WHAT?! I DONT CARE IF YOU HATE ME CAUSE I DONT NEED YOUR APPROVAL!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!" she shreaked. Her fangs bared and eyes wide. "I KNOW YOU DONT THINK I CARE I KNOW YOU THINK I'M NIAV AND SUCH BUT I DO CARE. THE ONLY WAY FOR ME TO GET PASSED YOUR WORRY THING IS TO BE THE WAY I AM SO IF YOU HATE ME FOR THAT FINE BUT THE NEXT TIME YOU ATTACK ME I. WILL. NOT. GO. AWAY." with that Sunkit jumped back then streaked away from the other kitten.

Dawnkit flipped once with that hit ...as she ended the roll on her paws. Hissing loudly ...as she pressed her body flat as she saw something that almost made her purr as she turned to face her. Sunkit was anger, the forever ray of light finally was mad, and it didn't make Dawnkit back down as she heard her shout at her. As those words only seemed to empower her as she saw her retreating and shouted at her fleeing back.
"You don't scare me ....Sunkit." "You think you are so grand, and you think ...you are so special, but you don't scare me."
Dawnkit whom didn't normally speak or stand out ...was at a lost to say more. TO be quite honest, she had no clue what she needed to say or what else would be more intimidating or challenging.
Afterall, she never bothered to challenge another cat before as he watches her run away. There was no need to follow as she walks away with a slight huff, back in the nursery dens she lay down and started to groom out her pelt as far as she could reach.
That attack had left sand and grit in her fur, and she was going to get rid of it and more her own fur shine. She was going to show Sunkit, that she could bring an end to her ray of light, and she purred softly to herself.

Sunkit found her hidden spot where she went to think and fumed. What right did that brat have to do that? There was NOTHING wrong with trying to keep a happy face. And that kitten decided she had the right to bring her down. Sunkit sung her claws into the dirt. Why was Dawnkit so boring? She wondered. Always so serious it's like she didn't know how to have fun. It infuriated Sunkit. Of all the cats in the world she had to be born in the same clan as that... thing! She hissed again the flopped down on the ground. Whatever she just wouldn't think about it. Why thinkg about something that made you upset? Sunkit sighed then felt herself relax. Yes I'll just stay here until I feel like coming out. She thought purring.

[Tigerfang felt chills down her spine as she felt and heard Blackthorn's voice in her ear. Her eyes darted to the floor, and her fur started to fluff out slightly. The pain in her paw seemed to melt away, as if Blackthorn's voice had some medicinal power to it.]
[She tried to act as if nothing was wrong, but she couldn't help but stammer as she felt the blood rush to her face.]
"M-Me? Worried? D-Don't be silly...I don't get...w-worried." she said with a gulp.

"Oh dear StarClan... what a horrible time to do this..." Mothfur found herself muttering aloud. The sound of Dawnkit made her alert, lifting her head to look over at her. "Oh, hi Dawnkit... why is your fur so ruffled and dirty?" the queen asked tiredly.
Berrystar, who had been watching the kit fight, was shocked to see the two so aggressive toward each other. He would have to have a word with them later, he guessed. Looking toward one of the cave walls, he saw Tigerfang and Blackthorn interacting, which surprised him; although was relieved to finally see her getting along with another cat.

"Well, if we want to talk, I'll be by the apprentice's den," Amberpaw said, nodding his head to Pantherheart and padding back to the apprentice's den. He lay in his normal spot, his chin laying on his front paws. His amber eyes looked out over the camp, his ears listening to each sound, every little thing that happened.

Dawnkit's ears went flat as she tries to think of what to say. She didn't want to tell Mothfur that she had been fighting with another clan members, especially considering the fact that she had unsheathed her claws. Her tail flicking a bit, before she finally finally stop licking at her coat as she declares lightly.
"I just got into a little tussle with Sunkit."
she figured it was best to tell a half truth than to try and get away with a flat lie. She was pretty sure that Mothfur could sense such a thing, and saying something like a tussle made it sound a lot less dangerous as a fight.
Her ear flicked a bit, as she said that and looked over at Mothfur. Something about her seemed quite weird, but she resisted saying anything at that moment as she let the tip of her tail pat the ground lightly.

Sunkit finally decided that she was quite bored. So she got up and walked back to the food pile. Maybe this time I'd get to eat. She thought bitterly

Mothfur laid her head back down, closing her eyes uncomfortably. "Oh. Well that isn't good... I hope you didn't get hurt." she replied before pausing for a little while. An awkward silence filled the den, only broken by the sudden sound of Mothfur's strained breathing.

"Do what? How dare you admonish you own deputy, Blackthorn? What right have you?" she hissed at him, quietly seething, but about to explode.
