So.... I was totally blindsided by the paraplegic accident in the Disney's 1960 film Pollyanna. eek At least the books have a happy ending.

I really loved her family. To be fair, her friend was clearly a shitty one. They introduced the love interest within the first five minutes of the film actually, and periodically throughout. And she did try to tell her friend the truth and her friend sucked.
The only thing that super bothered me about that movie was the fact that she just took all the s**t thrown out at her. Like the teacher saying "Oh who will they believe." And I would have said "Well probably me when your positive test results come back." Or when she got that detention after that girl called her a tramp. What the hell? And she was always letting people talk over her, I was just like can't you please stand up for yourself!
Also, how obsessed everyone was with her sex life. I know my high school wasn't like that, though maybe since this movie was in a small town?

Easy A, but not with Dess, funny enough.
I liked it. There should have been more a little more romance, though.
That's not something you have to apologize for, Owwin. You didn't like it, and you didn't like that you spent time and money on it. Makes sense to me.
