"Yeah, well I don't like to push my luck too much with him." she said as she put her hand on his to stop him from playing with the knife. She was worried something might happen now that she and him said something about his luck.

'It is a bit chilly but I don't mind.' Yokome stood up and backed away from the waterfall. 'I, myself have only left Japan once! The outside world is so different, it is quite scary.'

She sighed and took her hand off. She looked at him, "Juggle? Sure I guess, that could be fun." she said and smiled.

"just a moment." He leaped from rock to rock untill he got to the other side of the waterfall. walking up to the apple trees, he threw 6 knives into the tree. 6 apples fell with knives in them. he picked up his apples and knives and leaped back to Arikku. He gave her two apples and put down 2. "here. throw one apple into the air, at the top of its arc, throw the other. then, catch the first, and catch the second. throw, throw, catch, catch. watch!" He threw the two apples slowly into the air and caught them. "now you try!" he said with a smile biggrin

((I'm gonna shoot my computer. crying ))
Arikku looked at him, "Umm.. Okay" she said as she tried. The first couple of times they fell on the floor. She picked them up and kept trying. She threw one up then passed the other apple to the other hand. "Yay! I did it." she said and gave a big smile. She then finally started to get the hang of it. She was able to do it fluently eventually.

((Yay for being hyper and bored at the same time!!))
She thought she was getting the hang of it after a while. She was moving a little faster but still far from perfect. She looked to Shagatsu, "Is this right?" she asked. She thought it was fun for some reason to juggle.

"thats perfect! Now try adding in a third apple! It goes like this: Throw, throw, catch, throw. start with two in your right hand. throw one in your right, then one in your left hand, and then catch one in you left. then throw the one in your right. remember: throw throw catch throw. hum it to yourself. it usually helps!"

PrincessRyoko Makoto blushed deeply. "Yes, I do hope to become a good Geisha one day and thank you....ummm I don't think we were properly introduced, I have seen you at the tea house with Shagatsu-san at the tea house. I am Makoto of the Hinohasu Okiya." Makoto slowly looked over the man she was feeling very bold while not being in Maiko attire she smiled slightly noticing the man's swords and patch over his eye. "Tell me, sir, did you have to battle against that handicap of yours, I mean your eye of corse, I know that many suffer from problems with depth perseption and is slow to react on that side." Makoto bow her head once more now that she was comfortable. "Please forgive me for being so rude." "You are welcome. I remember you from the teahouse as well. My name is Shinichi Suzuki, Samurai of the Eastern Crane Clan." He said as he bowed to Makoto. "My eye did bother me at one time, but that was years ago." As he said this his hand absently rubbed his patch. "What I lack in sight I make up in my other senses."

Yokome watched as Shagatsu-san was teaching Arikku to juggle. 'You seem to be getting the hang of it very quickly, Arikku-san!' Yokome said with a smile. 'And you, Shagatsu-san, are a very good teacher!'

Why not sit down for a while?" Shinichi got up from infront of the waterfall and walked over to where Makoto was sitting. "Would you like to join us Iyasu-chan?" He said as he knelt down near Makoto. "How is life in your Okiya, Makoto-chan?"
