Katsuro, Orion, Luo: Late afternoon, after the other Genin have left.



Nodding at Orion Havik said "Sounds good to me, Luo pick up my weapon from the weapon shop, and take some for yourself, there is plenty there." After that Luo went off, Katsuro went to train and Havik was left with Orion to start on the last just he would learn before the mission.

Turning to Orion he he said This next jutsu is C ranked, and give you both defensive, and offensive capability's. It is called the Stone spear jutsu." Turning to his right Havik made the seals slowly while saying. "This jutsu will raise spears from the ground." Just as he said it a cluster of stone spears sprung forth from the ground creating a deadly barrier in front of him. "This is the defensive portion of the jutsu, but with a extra burst of chakra." As he said this Havik knelled down placed his hands just in front of the spear cluster and sent a pulse of chakra into them all, suddenly they burst forth powerfully, sailing through air for several yards until they smashed down into the sand. "That is the offensive version, with a extra small portion of chakra, you can send these spears flying for a attack, or you can send them forth immediately, either way they are all dangerous.

Just as he finished his explanation to Orion Katsuro burst around the training ground with speed that seemed to match Haseo's "So many fast Genin" Havik thought as he drooped his head until Katsuro came up to them with blinding speed, and a wave of sand asking for help training/" Sure, no problem, but no fear genjutsu, we do not wanna go down that road." Havik was now paying more attention to Katsuro, but was easily ready to answer any questions Orion had about the jutsu.

Lifting a puzzled eyebrow at Havik's concern about genjutsu. He couldn't perform genjutsu regardless, but he wondered if Havik had an issue with them. "Actually, I was wondering if you could make something really heavy, something I can pit my strength against", Katsuro said after a moment, hoping that Havik's apparent proficiency with Doton might be able to help him test out the next technique he wished to perform. As he stood there a sudden flicker of pain cut through his arm, eliciting a small wince from the azure-eyed Konaga. Little more than a nuisance, the pain did remind Katsuro that even with his new-found control, his chakra was still volatile, and it could still serve to cripple him at a moment's notice if he wasn't careful.

Rubbing his chin Havik said "You looking for something to destroy, like a building, something heavy to lift like a boulder, or would you rather just knock the s**t out of someone?" Havik wasn't sure exactly what Katsuro was looking for, but once his question was answered, he was sure he could think of some way to appease the need.

Yuuki nodded and set to work. another easy one. she thought to her self as she performed the needed hand signs. She clapped forcefully, causing a blinding flash to burst out. Sighing, she turned once again and looked at her sensei.

Walking back up the sand, Luo decided to sprint for a bit. His speed rivaled even the fastest of some chuunin, his frame clearly built for speed. Jumping over one of the dunes and landing swiftly and easily. Walking over to Havik, he presented the man's sword to him with one hand, and in the other using his speed swiftly struck the man on the side of the head muttering, "She said she didn't like that thing with the bird...whatever that means." Waiting patiently, Luo wondered just what exactly Havik had done to the lady for her to ask him to strike the man. Furthermore, he wondered if she knew he was Luo's sensei. Either way Luo couldn't pass up a valid reason to hit the man out of the countless times he's found himself at the mercy of Havik's hands, so he took it with fervor.

"Well I can't really..." Havik was cut off by the arrival of Luo, returning with his sword. Just as it was handed over though, and swift jab landed on Havik chin. Being distracted by the arrival of his weapon, and the always surprising attacks of Luo the punch landed solid on his chin, but with Havik seemingly limitless toughness, the blow did little if not nothing. Then Luo explanation about the "bird" thing and a bellowing laugh echoed from Havik's deep chest as he said You enjoyed that, didn't you?"

As Luo stood there, Orion just finishing up his justu, and Katsuro waiting for his boulder Havik examined the six foot sword, it was much longer than most, which he expected, but when he said he wanted the heaviest she could make he didn't just mean big. Unsheathing the blade revealed a edge that was not typical in swords, at first glance it was normal, but as Havik ran his rough hands across it he noticed it was rounded more than most, still some what sharp but seriously lacking in cutting power.

This concerned him for a moment, she knew his black smith was the best there was, there was no way she would give him something like this and say it was finished. Then, it clicked, he knew what she did, because he would have done the same. As he gripped the sword tightly he thought that she was a crafty, wild women and that he didn't think anyone else would have thought to do this. As the thoughts bounced around his head about her he pushed his chakra into the swords and suddenly the weight his. 1000 pounds suddenly appeared in his hands as soon as his chakra hit the weapon, and noticeably to, he was jerked forward, and his second hand reversibly grabbed the blade before he dropped it completely.

Arms strained, he lifted the weapon over his head, and swung it in a large arch after turning making sure he was not swinging it in the path over any of the Genin. His considerable strength let him wield the sword clumsily, and with very little control, but the thought of wielding a weapon like this, mastering the weapon style he had in mind. The thought gave him chills when he thought of meeting blades with Haseo, sword v.s. sword instead of sword v.s fist like it has always been.

Walking over to were Katsuro wanted his boulder Havik set down the sword and said "Lift this.". After that he walked over to Orion and said "No more Daton training today, I have a wound to tend to, and a couple things to pick up. If you can work on your bloodline, if you can not I am sure you will do fine on the mission, you seem very capable.

With those last words to Orion Havik turned and walked over to Luo, while doing this he glanced in Katsuro's direction to see how he was doing with his jutsu. Once to Luo Havik thanked him for getting his weapon and motion for him to follow him. Havik only took a few steps to get out of ear shot of Orion and Katsuro before saying in a low tone, to make sure the other two Genin didn't catch wind. "I need you to keep me being a Jinchuuriki to yourself, it isn't like I expect you to blab my powers to anyone that asks, I just know that I used to be pretty up front about it, but since the attacks... I just don't know if it is safe for me to be so up front anymore." If Luo pushed further on the subject Havik could just explain his fears away with not wanting outsiders to be upset when he is around, or he did not want other Genin to be afraid of him, but truthfully there was more to Havik's worries, but nothing he felt like sharing.

Ooc:@ Lance: The sword weighs 1000 pounds (Like explained in my post), a more precise explanation of how hard it is to pick up, and wield though is this.

+0 strength: can not lift, or move at all.

+1 strength:Can lift, and wield sloppily

+2 strength:Can lift, and wield like normal

Other than that small chart, you just use a bit of common sense. For example Kenzo with +1 strength would wield the sword easier than Luo would with +2, for obvious reasons.

As Havik set down his massive blade, the muscles in Katsuro's arms began to bulge, his biceps showing through his coat. Gripping the blade with his right hand, the young Konaga could feel as the latent energy infusing his muscles coursed through his arm. Lifting the blade off the ground and swinging it in front of him in one swift motion, Katsuro could feel the weight of the blade, but it was as if his muscles couldn't register that they shouldn't be able to lift it with such seeming ease. Smiling at his apparent success, Katsuro looked over his shoulder at the partially destroyed stone wall that Orion had shot his spears into earlier. Turning to face the wall, Katsuro lifted the massive blade over his head so that the tip was pointing skyward. [2/3 Chakra Strength]

Muscles tensing as a sudden pained lanced through his arm, Katsuro gritted his teeth as his grip on the blade tightened. Pushing through the pain, Katsuro let out a mighty roar as he whipped his arm forward, launching the massive blade straight towards the wall. Sailing through the air at an incredible speed given its size, the blade pierced through the stone wall with a harsh clanging sound. Blinking in surprise, Katsuro walked over to the wall, veering to the right so that he could see it from the side. Stuck in the wall, half of the blade's length had pierced through the stone. Letting out a triumphant laugh, Katsuro placed his hands on his hips as he called over to Havik, "Don't suppose you have a way of pulling that out, senpai. I'll have to rest a bit before I can try that again." [Chakra Strength Learned]

A passive ability, this augmentation allows the user to perform incredible feats of strength such as lifting large boulders and tossing them, or uprooting trees with their arms alone and swinging them around.

Additional Effects: Requires a 2 post cooldown between uses, during which the user suffers a 1/2 rank reduction in Strength. )

Said the women as she started the set of seals and continued " You will gather chakra in you lungs again and shoot fire forth, but this time you will shoot small blasts of fire, and then behind them, toss Kunai, or other projectiles through them. This jutsu can be used as a false attack, to lure you opponent in, then strike out from behind you fire with a disguised attack." With her explanation over, the old women took a step to the side, to get a different view of Misuki, and to give her student the room needed to preform the jutsu.
