Yees, it is I! Just because, and in the fond hopes I'm responded to for nostalgia's sake.

What's it been since the old RP days? Like, two years? Jeezy petes. Where's Strider, Orcus, and the rest?

More than 2! Closer to 3, or maybe even 4. Strider hasn't been on since roughly 2013, and Orcus has become busy with school and perhaps even a bit of a job, as far as I know. The same goes for the others, I think. Business. Even I'm not on as often as I used to be, but I may in the near-ish future.
Gaia's changed, friend. )=

And then there was one, once again. Staring forlornly at the computer screen, the writer tapped out a few more words with the keyboard. The decision came immediately. This. she thought as she dragged the mouse cursor over to the little green 'Submit' button and clicked, would make a great story experiment.

She hadn't logged in on the site for at least a month. She felt immensely guilty at not having done so, for the very few friends she still kept and communicated with via the site had already been waiting for a response. Thus, she resolved once again, to get on it regularly, if only for them!

Eventually, that too passed. But the next time that she logged in, it didn't matter as much. The memories that she held of her friends, and of posting, were enough. But a note of sorrow remained, of lost connections and stories that had been quite wonderful, and faltered over time. Nonetheless, she kept on, typing up another post in the ghost town just for nostalgia's sake.

Jesus Christ. Why not reach out and touch someone, rather than post in a forum no one reads? Frog's in his own place, with internet now. I'm sure he'd love to hear from a member of the old gang.

Gesundheit. I don't rightly know. It's more of a motivation for me to get on this site for those that do remain. Although I could contact him easily enough, I'm a bit of a coward on social media. I always feel like I'm bothering the other party.
Besides, you're reading this forum.

Well, I've been toying with the notion of trying to breathe new life into it. I log in every once in a while to look around and try to think of how exactly to do that, and then I see you've posted here. Seriously, just send Lucas a message. He'd be thrilled to get it.

Well we've spoken on posts, and about d**k McStronk, but no private messages or such. I might bolster my courage and try it, though!
This site has fallen, honestly, it seems less about the community and more about product placement and money gathering. The occasional manga updates are nice, however. Then again, I fell in love with Gaia purely for roleplaying and friends.
And since I can't get into contact with you in particular through social media, I'd like to say now, and very belatedly, that I really enjoyed Dayfall. =3

I don't get on anymore, except to poke around the old guild or to answer the odd PM... but Rachel's been telling me about how everything is geared toward gaia cash and rare items and such, and not many people seem to get on for the same reasons they used to.
And honestly I'd forgotten I sent anyone on here any copies of that old thing. I'm actually rewriting it, since I've come to dislike the original draft. Too much going on, too many named characters, not enough arc for the main two. I appreciate you reading it, though. I'm glad someone liked it.
