xxxxxxxxxxʃ ɑ с ҡ . || CITY BOY - SURFER BOY || Jack felt the shifting in the other boy’s stance and tried to take a deep breath. A broken arm was going to hurt. It wouldn’t be the first time he’d snapped a bone and it would doubtless not be the last, but experience with pain wasn’t going to keep him from feeling it this time. But Jack was just enough of an idiot to be absolutely convinced that it was more important to continue holding on to Kaito than to prevent the bone from being forcibly cracked in two.
He was more than a little relieved when the twist never came. He saw the shoulders sag and let out a low breath. He had a lot of faith in Kaito. If he didn’t he wouldn’t have been there. He believed that Kaito liked him somewhere underneath the ice. But he hadn’t been convinced it was near enough to the surface to prevent bodily harm at this point. That had been a lot of freaking cold.
Jack couldn’t help a twinge of guilt from flitting through his eyes at the question. There was far too much in that little word for him to sort everything out. He could practically hear all the unspoken endings that question might have had. And there were a lot of different answers he could have given. Because you would run away. Because it’s worth it. Because I wanted to make you as jealous as I was. Because I can’t see what you’re thinking. Because because because… A million reasons, one for every action. Some of them good, most of them bad. And they all boiled down to two simple answers. The first was ‘I’m an idiot,’ but Jack figured Kaito had already guessed that. Which only left, “Because I like you.”
Jack’s eyes closed in the kiss, savoring everything about it. Even the unpleasant flavor on the surface that reminded him that he’d made the person he actually gave a damn about cry. But it was too brief and he’d forgotten to hold on. Jack’d grip slackened and he lost control of Kaito’s wrist. It slipped away, vanishing the way everything did behind that wall of ice.
Three quick steps and he was there, right behind Kaito, wrapping his arms around the other boy’s waist from behind. He locked his fingers together in place of a belt. His eyes closed as he settled his face against Kaito’s neck, nuzzling the place where neck and shoulder met, the same place he’d left the unasked for mark the night before. “I said I’m not letting go,” he repeated, voice muffled against Kaito’s collar. “I’m staying here until enough of my body heat melts your stupid, stupid ice or I keel over.” Even to his own ears his words sounded childish and nonsensical. But he knew what he meant and more importantly knew Kaito would know what he meant.
His eyes were still closed when he said, “I’m sorry.”

An artist is a dreamer consenting to dream of the actual world As always Jack had a way of pulling out emotions no matter how hard he tried to lock them away. What sort of talent allowed him to do so, Kaito didn't know, but that one little statement had gone through him like a razor blade. No one liked him...simple fact. He was a lot of things but liked had never been among that list. He would have said it didn't matter, he never cared if anyone liked him or not, at least until today.
Still he just couldn't. It wasn't a pain he was used to protecting against and he had no barriers for it. Each slice hit deep and pure with nothing to interfere. He would have taken those words at least and kept them as a barrier for the future except arms closed around his waist and sudden heat bloomed along his back. The blue haired artist's head rolled forward, his bangs shielding the empty slate orbs when Jack nuzzled at his neck. Not wanting to react but helpless to stop the fission of energy that arced up his spine at the contact.
Still he almost flinched at Jack's declaration, muffled though it was, because it wasn't what he wanted. At least it wasn't what he should have wanted. What he'd felt in the last 24 hours was a roller-coaster that had him feeling vaguely sick. Yet he couldn't make his feet pull him away from the tight hug. He couldn't break away...and when he heard two tiny words from Jack he gave up pretending to try.
Kaito's whole frame sagged in defeat, an almost shuttered sound coming from his chest as he sucked in a breath. He should just have kept walking, just pushed past the barrier of flesh and rebuilt his walls strong enough to withstand anything. Instead he shifted and turned back towards Jack, his slate orbs still shuttered and empty, as he rested his head against the other male's chest with an almost pained sigh.
"I don't know how to do this."Kaito warned him in a defeated almost sounding voice. Relationships were built on alliances and held no special meaning in his life. He didn't know how to show his emotions or how to respond. The fact that he did at all was still something he hadn't come to terms with. How was he possibly supposed to try and remain with the red-head when it was obvious they misunderstood each other constantly. All he knew was that if anyone ever touched him, especially like that kiss, Kaito would kill them. They'd never find the bodies when he was done.

xxxxxxxxxxʃ ɑ с ҡ . || CITY BOY - SURFER BOY || Jack kept his arms circled around the other boy. He felt when the tense, straight-backed body sagged against him and hoped to god it was a good sign rather than a bad one. His ear focused on the breath he could head slipping in and out of the lips just out of sight. Proof Kaito was alive and there. At least the small movements and sounds meant he was listening to Jack, something that had seemed like an impossible idea minutes before in the cafeteria. But Kaito was still there in his arms, wasn’t pulling away or trying to hit him or doing anything really. He was just listening and it was all Jack wanted him to do.
He loosened his hold very lightly, just enough to let the blue haired male turn to face him. Now his arms were locked around Kaito from the front. Definitely no complaints there. His breath hitched as he watched the other boy lean against him, hardly daring to move, as though Kaito were some rare species of butterfly he was afraid to frighten off with even a small gesture. Then his grip tightened, hugging Kaito hard, pulling the other flush against him. It was only reluctantly that he allowed the grip to go back to a place where he could be sure Kaito could actually breathe.
The soft words lead to a laugh slipping from Jack, though at least half of the sound was pure relief. If there had been anyone else in earshot, anyone at all, Jack would have been mortified at the weakness, the dependence that sound showed. It was too childishly happy for the hot tempered redhead who played with people and ruined his lungs with toxic smoke on a daily basis. But it was too late for that. Kaito showed him another side when they were alone. That meant Jack could show more than one side too, couldn’t he?
“Like I have a single ******** clue about what to do with you,” Jack groaned, nuzzling that spot that was quickly becoming his favorite place on Kaito. All those games and taunts and questions and button pushing and what he knew about Kaito could fit in a thimble. But hell, it was a start.

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." After a good amount of time, Yukio found himself sleeping on his own bed. He searched around the room trying to recollect himself. He remembered that the kitchen was exploding and everything was on fire, but he couldn't figure out what happened after he was hit hard on his back. Shaking off his worries, he decided to go and see if the other two boys, to see if they were all right. A note dropped next to him and he picked it up reading it.
To him, the note was like slap in the face. Yukio crumpled up the paper and threw it at the wall in frustration. He placed one hand on his face, rubbing his eyes, looking quite annoyed. He knew he probably meant nothing to them, but he didn't care. Well, actually he did. But not enough to get angry at them. For a while Jack treated him with some respect and that was enough for him.
He didn't see Kit around, but he couldn't help but call his name softly in the room. "I'll be leaving now."
He walked by Jack's room in attempts to see if they were hurt, but instead found them kissing. Yukio watched for a couple of seconds and sat down on the ground, his back against the concrete wall next to him. He'd wait for a little bit. It wasn't that troublesome to do at that moment.

An artist is a dreamer consenting to dream of the actual world Slate blue orbs closed tiredly at the tightening against his body where he was pressed against Jack, letting out a small sigh of defeat as he was slowly released and the red-head laughed. The sound enough to loosen some of the stiffness in his form as he let his own hands settle against his roommate's hips, fluttering there as if he had no idea what he was supposed to do with them. He still thought this was an incredibly stupid idea, they were going to end in trouble one way or the other yet in that moment he found himself not careing about what the future might hold.
"Like I'm the difficult one."Kaito drawled, his tone settling familiarly back into the empty tones it usually held, but his eyes had softened ever so slightly as he let them slide open once more on a soft gasp as his neck was touched once more. His head tilted slightly on a small noise that was embaressing enough to pull a faint flush to his skin once more.
"When's your interview?"He asked, eyes sliding closed at the nuzzling once more. His tone gaining a touch of something like a breathless quality as he tried to shift the subject. It was hard enough FEELING what he did without actually talking about it. Far better to concentrate on something that was coming up. That and it helped keep his mind from the mind numbing sensation of breath against his neck.

xxxxxxxxxxʃ ɑ с ҡ . || CITY BOY - SURFER BOY || “Damn straight you are,” Jack said with a smirk, sounding rather pleased than frustrated by that fact now. Of course no one he wanted this much would be simple. Or easy to deal with. If he hadn’t been able to imagine being so focused on just one thing with so much energy and attention, why would something able to do that fall into the category of ‘expected’? No, this made a perfect kind of backwards nonsensical sense. Arms wrapped around Kaito he decided the rest of the world could go to hell in a runaway dumpster if they didn’t like it. He’d throw Kaito’s father in there himself if the man’s very existence continued to bother the blue haired boy in front of him. How hard could it be? The man was more powerful, influential, and had access to better resources than Jack many times over. But Jack was stupidly, irrationally stubborn. That probably evened things out a bit.
“Supposed to call him back and agree to leave today or tomorrow,” Jack answered, more interested in eliciting more of those small sounds and blushes from the young man in his arms than discussing the senator and his charity work. Kaito was going to have to get used to Jack being there quite a lot for a while. This contact was dangerously addictive. He’d already seen how cruel he felt like being when separation was threatened and he was determined not to screw things up again. Fortunately, the hands resting lightly on his hips said Kaito didn’t object too much.
“Or I could lose the phone,” he suggested. “Like out a window. Make him work for it.” But his heart wasn’t really in the proposal. While the idea of the stuffy adult coming down himself to drag the redhead back to California did have some entertaining potential, it might not be the best idea. He didn’t want to have to look over his shoulder for someone in a suit before pouncing on Kaito when he felt like it. Jack personally didn’t care if the man knew, but Kaito seemed convinced it would cause some kind of problem. And they had enough problems just forcing their personalities together.
“I don’t suppose you’d want to come with me?” he murmured.
He'd yet to pick up on the fact that they weren't alone. He'd refused to move his face away from Kaito's neck and his back was to the door. He might have been a bit more embarrassed if he'd known they were being watched.

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." Yukio had his back against the wall when he noticed that Jack had leaned slightly against the door. Slowly pushing the door in place to shut, he sat back in his corner next to the door, allowing some more privacy...For the most part. He waited til they were done before trying to act subtle and see if he can figure out why part of his memory was a large blank slate.
Twirling his white hair, he looked up to the ceiling and began to hum. It was a small tune he remembered his brother singing him to sleep with. He missed them and was wondering where they were. They had been seperated for a rather long time, like since he was 5. It was a faint memory though it still burned in his mind.
The small tune caught the attention of passing student as the hum became words. The words proceeded into becoming a small lullaby to those around. His voice was calm and serene, filled with joy and sadness. While it was soft people could still hear him faintly."You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..."

An artist is a dreamer consenting to dream of the actual world "Hn."Kaito snorted, his own lips twitching at the edges ever so slightly, but otherwise retaining his usual expression. To the artist he made perfect sense, it was Jack who was far harder to understand. A constant need for contact, always seemingly seeking out people. He made friends, which was a concept that was both foreign and incomprehensible to the young heir. No matter how he looked at it, Jack's actions simply made no sense. Kaito liked things well ordered and controlled...he had a feeling he was going to get neither from his roommate. He brought his mind back around to the task at hand when his question was answered.
"Earlier is better, the more you look like your cooperating the less ground he'll have to stand on."That and it would make everything a step easier if he could get Senator Hormel out of the picture. It would be difficult enough seeing to it that nothing reached his father's ear. Even if the thought of Jack 'accidentally' loosing his phone and making the notoriously lazy senator come to collect him. It wasn't worth that one moment to have him drawing any connections between Jack and himself. No, they'd cooperate, and destroy him from the inside out. Slate blue orbs widened slightly and then softened at the murmured question.
"I was coming regardless."He told him, tone softening just slightly to match as a warmth spread through him. He couldn't understand these emotions, he couldn't stop them either...why could it hurt one moment and with a few words warm him the next? He hated how out of control he felt, not knowing what was coming next, and yet he couldn't stop feeling them. A small, sigh slipped past his lips as his hands tightened slightly on the belt loops he was holding as he realized something else.
"When I go, it's going to be....well...."the artist sighed again and closed his eyes, how to say this properly. He didn't want Jack to get upset again, but he had a feeling that he wasn't going to approve of the way the artist would have to act. "It's just acting. A game."That word he liked better. He knew Jack would understand that. Because Kaito had a very definite way of acting around his father's 'friends' and he'd have to maintain that no matter how close he was to Jack. For his own protection and to insure that nothing went wrong with his plan. He just didn't need another fight because he was behaving slightly differently.
Slate blue eyes suddenly shifted towards the door when he realized that he could just hear soft singing coming from the other side. Given it wasn't moving past it meant someone was waiting, he couldn't see the blonde roommate of theirs singing which only left one other option. His eyes hardened slightly as he turned his head towards the red-head's ear.
"Oh, and servant or not...if you kiss him again, I WILL kill him."his tone had dropped, slipping easily back towards the sub-arctic glacier they had been earlier. Only the annoyed reaction, unusual in the easy-going white haired male, had kept him from doing it already. A second time would not pass so easily. If he was going to put up with these damn emotions then he was going to protect what was his. He'd always been possessive, although usually it was only with his art, now a person had been added to his list and god help anyone that crossed it, whether Jack wanted protection or not.

xxxxxxxxxxʃ ɑ с ҡ . || CITY BOY - SURFER BOY || Jack grumbled slightly, but nodded. “Fine. I’ll tell him I’m ready.” And if he could manage to sound like he was intentionally cooperating, he’d go audition for the Broadway stage now because that would involve some damn fine acting. The senator ought to get on his hands and knees to thank Kaito, because if he’d been alone the man would have had to chase him down with a couple of tranquilizer darts and a net. He was playing along purely for Kaito’s sake and no one else’s.
Though admittedly he was soothed a bit by the slightly gentler tone when Kaito agreed to come with him. When he said he was coming whether Jack liked it or not. That brought a grin to his face. He bowed his head faintly so his forehead touched the one in front of him. Kaito wasn’t one for contact, but Jack was, especially if he knew it was going to be rare. And from the sound of the blue haired boy’s next few words, contact was going to be extremely limited for some time. Jack didn’t like this kind of game, but he damn well wasn’t going to lose. And now that he and Kaito were on the same side again, him winning also depended on Kaito winning.
“I’ll… behave,” Jack sighed, looking much like he’d been forced to swallow a lemon. Oh god he felt like hell just saying that word. This trip had better be quick or he was going to lose it and shove the senator’s head in an airport toilet before he knew what hit him. Maybe he could sneak his fake ID along with him and hit a bar. Alcohol would help. But then, that didn’t sound much like ‘behaving’ did it? Crap. Jack resisted the urge to whimper. But he looked back at Kaito and swallowed it. “I trust you. But you owe me for this,” he added, a grin sliding its way rapidly into a smirk. The smug expression said Kaito was going to be making up for the loss of contact especially.
Jack wasn’t even fully aware of the singing until he saw it attract the other boy’s attention. He hadn’t heard Yukio sing before, but… Yeah. He was pretty sure he knew who it was, even without turning around. That deadly look in Kaito’s eyes told him more than anything else. Jack was a bit worn out with guilt, but even he had to resist the temptation to shiver when Kaito spoke. But he also wanted to grin. He ******** knew Kaito hadn’t liked that. And while it had been an stupid way test that theory out, possessive Kaito was really, um, hot.
“Deal,” he murmured, taking advantage of the way the other boy had leaned in to n** at his neck once before pulling away and digging out the cell phone. He was on it for a few moments, explaining that he was ready to leave when they wanted and he was bringing a friend. Why? Because the school was more comfortable with them being in pairs. And wouldn’t it look so nice on camera if he could show that he’d made friends at his school already?
“Taxi’s on its way,” he said when he hung up. He glanced at Yukio. Damnit, he was not going to apologize again. He’d just said he was sorry twice. That was his limit for the year.

An artist is a dreamer consenting to dream of the actual world Kaito nodded slightly as well, accepting the agreement to leave as soon as possible to get their plan underway. Truthfully, Kaito believed that in this he was going to have to move quickly in order to make all his pieces fall into place. Also, the earlier it was the less damage the public would believe could have happened to him. It would explain why he was still argumentative-because that wasn't going to go away no matter how much Jack could act-and yet being used. Timing was everything.
A forehead touched his own, drawing slate blue orbs towards the red head who was grinning still trying to get used to the contact. At least Jack WAS grinning until he realized just what level they would have to play at in order to pull this off, although Kaito wasn't sure he fully understood...but he soon would. Because he seemed to think it would just be his own acting that he'd have to be prepared for. Emotions crossed his face easily, all watched by empty blue orbs in a sort of fascination. How he could show each emotion like that the artist didn't know. Finally the depressing looks shifted to a smirk as Jack informed him that he'd owe him.
"Do I now?"Kaito drawled, arching one eyebrow slightly although the butterflies had taken residence up in his stomach once more. He refused to let his mind drag him into the gutter and forced it back away from images of just how he'd repay him and back to the sudden n** on his neck that had him thinking them all over again as he stiffened slightly to stop the shiver from visibly running through his slim frame.
He kept his eyes closed and regulated himself back out of the train of thought while Jack spoke on the phone and organized everything. He thought of Jack's agreement to their new 'deal' glad that at least Jack seemed to have taken his threat against Yukio seriously. Because he would do it. It wouldn't be the first for the blue haired boy. Some things can be taught at a very early age. He only opened his eyes when Jack hung up and informed him that the Taxi would be on its way. Almost instantly his posture shifted, as he went into 'business' mode. His fingers slipped off the belt loop as he stepped back and turned his attention to the shared closet.
"You said you had blue?"he asked in an emotionless voice as he pulled the doors open. From it he drew the suit he was going to shift into and started digging through all of Jack's stuff. It was easy to ignore anything that was Dion's because they were school uniforms or brightly colored. Finally he pulled out a full set of matching blue. A navy suit, a lighter blue shirt, and a blue silk tie of the same navy color Kaito'd pulled from his own selection. He handed it over casually.
"Get dressed, I'll adjust you as necessary."He drawled as he began unbuttoning his school uniform. For someone used to being catered to by servants he didn't even think twice about changing where he was at. Even with his feelings on Jack, his mind had made the subtle shift to cover the issue ahead and shut down a lot of the other thoughts that might have been running through his head.

Ayukina Xien - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." Yukio came in the room, smiling as usual, and bowed respectively to them. "I see both of you have stopped making out. I'm glad for the both of...wait what?" The phrase that Kaito had just said made Yukio release a frozen confused smile. 'Kiss me again?' He thought about it. 'No...he wouldn't...'
Yukio's face took a turn for the worst. His pale skin went even paler because of the sudden shock. Turning his head from Kaito to Jack, he touched his mouth softly. 'He didn't...' His face turned into pure white. 'KIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!' Yukio screamed inside his head, unknowing that it was really Jack who initiated it.
After all, regardless if it is a male or female, his first kiss was important to him."You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..."

When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief.Ghosts, no matter there nature, feed off the energy of their haunting. It's life became theirs. Even plants can feed into the power of a place, but humans are always the strongest. That is why ghosts are always so much more powerful at places that often have humans passing through. Bell Liberty was no exception, and with the amount of drama that occurred in its walls...it was a very powerful haunting indeed. Even so, a ghost could wear themselves out by using too much of the energy, and Kit had done just that.
Natural fidgeting energy warred against a lack of true energy from the school, finally forcing a pair of pale gold orbs to open slightly. He'd gathered back enough energy from the school to pull himself back together again. Able to store a set amount like a battery and then recharge, Kit had used up his collection. Blinking he yawned, stretching arms that slowly manifested back into existence even for him. He should have rested longer but kit was never one who was able to stand still for long.
Drowsy he felt along the pulse of the school and landed on the reason for why he was currently drained. Still, something about his new pet was interesting enough that he decided to see what he was doing. He was the only one other than Nick that could see him anyway, besides, he didn't have enough strength to pull anything. So rather than sleep or be bored...he'd bug Faust.
That and something was drawing him towards him, almost like a pull or an itch he couldn't quite resist. Stifling another yawn behind his hand he passed from the strange plan he existed in during sleep and towards reality. Like a mirage swimming to life, the blonde ghost shimmered into place in one of the dorm rooms, still yawning.
Sleepy golden orbs took in a blue haired male that seemed about to undress, a very familiar red-head that had him waking up a little bit more, and Faust with a hand over his mouth and looking like he'd seen...well a ghost. Instantly his eyes hardened slightly, taking on a very unnerving level of danger. Some part of his brain unable to escape the violence that had ended his life he tended to get vicious when surrounded by anything that mimicked it. Thankfully, for the others, at that point he didn't have enough energy to even touch something...let alone do more.
"What did he do?"Kit asked in a low, dark purr. Even his aura had shifted to a sort of deadly intensity that only came from something that no longer completely thought like a human being. Given the kiss, Jack was not on Kit's list of acceptable people and that only set him up for an easy transition in the blonde's head to someone that needed to die.

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." He was so angry at him at the moment but he had to keep himself from completely losing it in front of them. Yukio took shallow breaths as he tried hard not to smash items all over the room. He made him kiss Jack?! To him, Jack was like the older brother he had before moving around to violent families, except without the excessive cheerfulness. Thinking about how it would've made him feel, it made him feel pissed and awkward. Like having is first kiss with his actual brother!!
He felt a small whisp of air behind his back, immediately assuming it was Kit. Oh, he was going to get it, but not now. Now he had to figure out a way to leave the room with him following, without arousing suspicions.
He gave a rather strained and angry smile. "I'm sorry about that kiss from before...I REALLY had no idea what was going on with my body, and I have no means to anger you Kaito-san." he said, still trying to sound all sweet and happy. "Now, I have to do something at the moment, so please do not FOLLOW ME into the area I will be in..." When he had said that there was a bit of a growl in it, aimed directly at Kit.
He turned his heel and kept that same smile on his face. However, the passing students could feel a chill, not just from Kit, but emitting from the angry Yukio. Once they were in a very well isolated area in the school back area, he stopped in his tracks."You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..." xxxxxxxxxxʃ ɑ с ҡ . || CITY BOY - SURFER BOY || Jack could practically see Kaito’s mind shifting into a more professional state as he hung up the phone. Apparently play time was over. Damn. It would have been a lot more fun to make the taxi sit out front for a while(after all, Jack wasn’t paying the faire) while the redhead tried to see if he could tease Kaito into another blush. And find out exactly which parts of his skin turned pink when he did. But he complied, partially because the sooner he got this over with, the sooner it would stop screwing with his other plans. But also because the plane would take them back to California. And even after a couple of days, Jack found himself missing his home state.
He wasn’t homesick. It wasn’t anything like that. It was simply the feeling of not quite being in your own element, wearing a coat that was a size too big or too small. You could do it, it would work. It just wouldn’t be the same. Enough had happened over the past day and a half to make his stay feel like a lifetime of work had gone into it. And some stupid part of his brain was convinced that a breath of air from his home would make the difference, recharge him for the rest of the year. Just one more.
Trying not to look like he was pouting, Jack stood by, leaning against the dresser as he watched Kaito meticulously sort through the closet until he came up with what he wanted. “Damn. I thought you’d forgotten about the blue suit,” Jack said, eyeing the suit. Maybe he didn’t mind blue quite as much now though. Kaito was blue, that dark incoming storm color his own eyes were constantly being drawn towards. Even if the color of the suit wasn’t exactly the same and didn’t look as good on him, Jack could live with it.
Jack set the suit on the bed and began stripping down to his boxers again. He didn’t even try to hide it when he took a moment to check out a half dressed Kaito. It was a good thing that door was open and Yukio was suddenly there to lend a hand in distracting the redhead. Jack wasn’t sure what to expect. Yukio seemed to have recovered his good mood remarkably quickly after than uncharacteristic outburst in the cafeteria. Sure, the circumstances had been weird as hell, but still, Yukio had shouted and sworn. Now that he was no longer desperately focused on Kaito, Jack realized the boy had been absolutely off his usual character.
He opened his mouth to respond, but Yukio interrupted him. Was he… apologizing? Jack blinked, looking from Yukio to Kaito and back. What the hell was going on? Jack had kissed Yukio, not the other way around. But Yukio was acting like he’d completely forgotten it had even happened until that moment. The redhead had paused in buttoning his shirt to stare openmouthed at the white haired young man, for once struggling to find words.
Yukio dashed out of sight and Jack’s face twisted in annoyance. “Apparently kissing me causes brain damage,” he muttered. He knew he wasn’t going to kiss Yukio again and that it hadn’t been much of a kiss to begin with, but it was hard not to be a little offended. Someone had literally tried to block the memory of kissing him from their memory and then freaked out when it was mentioned. How could you not be insulted by that?
He went back to buttoning his shirt, concentrating on the tie. …s**t. How did these things go again? Jack could do a hangman’s noose, but that probably wouldn’t pass the Kaito Inspection. Alright over, under, tuck… Wait. Now it was backwards. “…do I have to wear this?” he growled.
