Flying in the rain was not something enjoyable, and Sienna was lucky it wasn't a thunderstorm like she feared. It would have set them back a whole day from the rest of the group. After stocking up on supplies for the trip, Sienna had to fly on Frey in the rain to get from her hotel in the city down to the ranch. "" Frey muttered.
"Just a liiiitle farther, keep it up, boy." The bird-keeper gave the pidgeot a pat on the side. Frey ignored it and kept his green eyes on the landscape below. Sienna lifted the green-tinted goggles off her face and pointed below with a gloved hand. "There it is! Take us down please." The large bird began his decent towards the ranch below. Trainers and pokemon were scattered everyone, he had no idea where he was going to land. The pidgeot glided low over the crowd, hopefully not grazing anyone's head, and aimed for an unoccupied, soggy patch of land. Frey banked and extended his talons toward the ground, making a solid landing. "Well," Sienna said hopping off her pokemon, "Looks like we made it then!" she said with a grin. "" Frey muttered and began to preen his wet feathers.

"(I am not a funny looking thing!)" His jeweled eyes glimer as he glared. "(I have a name and its Nishant and I am a sableye not a funny looking thing!)"
"(Funny looking thing is nosy...)"
"(AAAARRGH!)"
"Yeah, its nice to know someone before the trip begins. I just moved here and I don't know a lot of people here." Ezekiel started walking towards the door and held it open for Alexa.
"(Your welcome!)" Velasco smiled and snuggled down into the other's shoulder.

[OOC Note: Anyone can feel free to jump in!]
A couple hours later, Miri was back at the same little bench and rest area near one of the many fountains in Katarina. She and Fubuki had gotten all of their supplies in order, and now it was just time to get it all situated so it was ready for their ride. The Ranger gazed up at the skies for a moment, a slight frown on her face. Gray-ish clouds loomed and with it slightly drizzling outside, she couldn't help but worry if it might turn into something worse. The last thing she would be using for rain was an umbrella, however. Carrying such an item would be cumbersome, and she didn't have time for that. Instead, she made sure to get out her proper rain gear: water-proof boots and a fitted, hooded rain jacket.
"I hope it doesn't rain too much," she mumbled to her Delibird. The delivery pokemon only nodded his head and squawked a quiet, "Deli, deli, delibird!" ["Yeah. Allene doesn't like rain."] Not wanting to waste anymore time, the girl unclipped a pokeball from her belt and released the pokemon inside. Allene, her non-shiny color variation Rampardos, appeared a second later with a roar of approval of being released from her ball. Regardless of her hasty nature, she was glad to be out. She enjoyed spending time with her trainer.
Miri only grinned at the dinosaur pokemon as she moved to grab the Rampardos' saddle. The teenager probably could have made due without such an item, mind you, but having a saddle made for easier travel. It also made long journeys like this more comfortable for her and Fubuki, who would be riding along the way. "Alright, Allene," said the ranger as she got the saddle in place, "let's get all the supplies and everything situated. This way we'll be ready to go whenever we want." And the sooner they left, the better. This eevee swarm was causing a lot of buzz, and the sooner they got there before the crowds, the better off it would be.

Vincent whined at Nishant's scolding. His ears went down and he crouched down close to the ground. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make fun of you, Nishant. He was whining even more as Alexa and Ezekiel came out.
"It sure is. We might be able to hang out and talk during the trip." She replied heading outside, "Thank you." She smiled as he held the door open for her. "I'm not used to being in such a big city. When I moved here I ended up getting a small house in Motterossa." She opened her umbrella once again and stepped into the light rain. Seeing Vincent whining and cowering she frowned and headed over to him. "What's wrong?"
Apolla followed her trainer outside and began heating her fur up so she wouldn't get wet. She looked at Velasco and grinned. It was working. Hearing Vincent whine made her groan. Stupid big baby.

Lady Mist Lumina had asked around on how far she could lead the ponyta before the trip, and after receiving a favorable answer she had stepped back out after being reminded that she ought to hit up on the stores.
She paused mid-step, her eyes catching sight of a strange pokemon, "Ghost?" The watcher asked, walking up to the other girl, grinning at her expression towards her pokemon. With Yuzu safely back in her ball for now, Tabitha had begun to put it away, still balanced with only her legs on the ponyta's back. Seeing the other girl waking toward her, she eyed her curiously before replying. "Ghost. Banette to be exact." Taking the reins back in one hand she eased back in the saddle. The ponyta beneath her snorted softly eyeing the approaching watcher as he was slowed and brought to a walk.Click the picture for full size

Corn shrugged up at the girl on the red-banded Ponyta. "Rock types, too, and Ground. A light mist can't be more than an irritation to a Pokemon, though, right... ? The Ponyta seem fine." She was beginning to consider practicing with her Onix.

Nishant looked over at Vicent and patted him on the muzze as he leaned on Cooper's head. "(Its okay, just don't call me that again)"
Ezekiel close the door and went over to Cooper, putting the supplies away on the saddle bag. "Hmmm, I am not big on the city either, I live in a little mansion away from the city with this rich guy that knows my brother. He pays for my research and I get free place to live in. He doesn't seem to mind the company."
Velasco clicked his beak and glared at Nishant. "(What did you do?)"

"That's my first time seeing a ghost type." Lumina's word were draped with awe. She reached back and ran her fingers along the following ponyta's muzzle, grinning as she got a snort in response, "Got the rental pokemon to keep me company, but hopefully will find something for my own too.
"What brings you and your companions to the eevee gathering? Though, I suspect the general consensus around here is to watch and perhaps catch." She paused, eying the girl briefly before smiling warmly again, "Ah, I'm Lumina by the way."

Vincent looked up at Nishant and leaned into the patting. Okay! I won't call you funny looking thing anymore! I'll call you Nishant! He bounced up wagging his tail. Seeing his trainer he barked at her and took a step over to her. He had to crouch down so she check the packs on him.
Alexa shook her head with a laugh as Vincent went back to himself. Whatever was wrong had been taken care of. "You do research?" She asked looking over to Ezekiel, "What kind of research do you do?" The fact that he was staying in a mansion and sort of knew a rich guy didn't really register with her.
Apolla looked from Velasco to the strange pokemon on the other arcanine. I wouldn't be surprised if the giant mutt was the one who did something. She stayed close to Alexa, not really caring for Vincent.

"(Good)" Nishant pouted at Velasco. "(I didn't do anything)"
"I research Dark pokemon, hence the sableye and the murkrow. Thought I admit the murkrow was a gift from my brother when I got here, he's big on letters." Ezekiel close the saddle bag and fixed it before looking at Alexa. "What brings you to the eevee apperances site, anyways?"

Lizzie wasn't surprised by the number of people already raring to go. She assumed that everyone was here for the Eevee swarm that was announced a few days back. Although she already had an Eeveelution of her own, and could always breed her if she needed another one, she was going to journey alongside many of the trainers anyway. Mostly out of curiosity. An Eevee swarm was practically unheard of. But also because she sensed that something else was up, and she didn't want to miss out on any action.
She lived on the outlying suburbs of Katarina, so she flew here on the back of her Lugia. Well, not all the way to the city. She stopped a little short of its borders and walked the rest of the way, so Psywater wouldn't cause a panic among the people. Even though he was young compared to his kin, he was still quite massive and a Legendary Pokemon.
So Lizzie, with a wallet full of money, went from store to store buying supplies while Psywater flew overhead, appearing as an obscure shadow. She knew that he would come to her if she needed him though, so she wasn't worried at all. After she got most of what she needed, the trainer sat down on a bench and started eating an apple, watching the other people bustling about and occasionally glancing up at the sky.
She felt sorry for the people that had to rent Pokemon. She knew that she wouldn't trust any Pokemon besides her own on this kind of trip.

"Mine does, at any rate," Lisa nodded. A little ring came from her side pocket, and she swiftly picked up her phone. "Yes? Ah, it's in? Excellent, I'll be right there." Lisa put the phone away. "Sorry to leave so soon, but I have to pick up some supplies I ordered," she apologized as she hopped off her horse and led it into the covered waiting area. She lifted the sleeping Bandit off of the ponyta's back, then tied the reigns to a post. "Stay here, alright?" She told the Ponyta as she ran off hastily.((Getting off for a while. See you this afternoon/evening!))

Vincent spotting the murkrow stopped what he was doing and stared at it. Bird! It's a bird! He began panting heavily and slowly began crawling towards Ezekiel and Velasco once Alexa was finished checking the packs.
"Does make sense that you have two dark type pokemon." She replied noticing Vincent, "Don't even think about Vincent! You cannot play with Velasco. Hm? Me? Well I would love to have an eevee one day. I'm a fire pokemon trainer so a flareon would be a great addition to my team. Plus from what I've heard it's close to my home." She paused and looked at him. "What about you?"

Sasha slid off the back of the Ponyta she had rented. The green cloth was tied carefully about the front left leg in a position that would not get in the way of its running ability. Sasha smiled cheerfully as she looked around the area. "Thank you for the ride!" She said giving the Pokemon a hug. Sue poked her head out of her hood, another green piece of fabric was tied around her neck in a fairly cute fashion.

"Well then, take your pick and then head out if it isn't raining." The ranch employee finally said, though Lamen had already chosen long ago. She approached her rental's stall- this pokemon wasn't as popular as Ponyta, nor as exotic as Onix. Honestly, she would've totally gone for the Onix if it wasn't for spotting this old acquaintance of hers.
The Tauros took a few steps forward, his tail whipping with excitement much like a happy growlithe's. Someone was going to pick him! That meant he'd finally get to stretch his legs, walk and see some sights, enjoy individual attention from a human~... oh wait, no. He recognized this one. A wide smile crept onto the gray-haired human's face before she spoke in the most bemused of voices: "Long time no see, Mattress. Let's hope it doesn't turn out like last time, heh." No kidding. Well, something like that probably wouldn't happen twice, or so the Tauros hoped. "GARRR!" Suddenly, something silvery and cold burst right into his face, and Mattress (temp. name) was startled into a panicked run outside the building.
Lamen watched as her oddly colored Gengar followed the Tauros closely on its way out, keeping up with exactly the same speed as he waggled a gigantic tongue behind the larger pokemon. "Skillfully executed. Yep." She nodded once in admiration and then walked out after them to meet n' greet the others. Luna was supposed to meet her, right?
