"VIVEC!" I stood in aw, I thought the once mighty God was dead. 'No I am not dead, I still had plenty of years left in my before I became a God, so Azura aloud me to live out those remaning years.' I could speek I was stumped. 'Now as you may have guess I used a ranged recall spell on you and brought you here. Do you have any idea why?' I still couldn't speek. 'My home is under attack...' This time I spoke. "WELL WHY THE HELL ARN"T YOU DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT?" 'You didn't let me finish, and I can't do anything cause my divinity is gone, and I am getting no aid from the Nerervar, the lazy s'wit, he's off galavanting around Mounhold and hasn't been back for years.' "So why am I here?" 'I was just getting to that, I brought you here because I have watched you....' I opened my mouth to speak, but Vivec raised his hand. 'And before you say anything I may not be a God but I still have many trick's up my sleeve. Now I brought you here because I needed thrre people so skill at what they do the Aedra themselves fear you. No I all ready have a mage and a theif....' "Zakkon and Maikau." 'Yes now all I need is you, I knew Maikau would come because of the Deadra General that is attacking. And I knew Zakkon would come because he wanted to kill Maikau. And This is the only way I could think of to bring you here.' "So basically you are too scared to fight and have us do your dirty work?" 'No, I was not a fighter, Nerervar was the one who did the killing, we just supported him, majically.' "Well what am I up against?" 'Go take alook!' I walked out the door and looked. I saw a cloaked figgure fighting of at least twenty Winged Twilights. "Maikau!" And I saw Zakkon standing at the temple, laughing. I laughed for a while and went back to Vivec. "If you were still a God I'd worship you." And I ran out screaming, "Look out Deadra, Betsey's hungry!"

((Okay, you're right. However, Maikau doesn't know that Almalexia and Sotha Sil are dead, so he'll treat the situations as though they were.))

As a Berne Vampire, not only were Maikau's senses greatly increased, but he could cast more magic, much faster. The Elemental Chaos spell, that he had failed to cast on the ship because of its length, slid easily out of his finger, creating an orb the size of a boulder in less than five seconds.

He aimed it so that it would cause as little friendly damage as possible, but the spiderweb reaction that followed its contact with a Golden Saint instantly killed three of the Indoril Warriors. Fortunately, the losses on the Daedra's side were much higher.

A howl penetrated the evening, but Maikau thought nothing of it. He failed to remember that wolves didn't inhabit Morrowind. Another Elemental Chaos spell took down almost forty Daedra, with only Two Ordinators, and Three other Indoril Warriors killed. Unfortunately, not even his magicka lasted forever.

He drained another Winged Twilight, but in the time it took, some strange, gruesome creature attacked him. It was small, and he had never seen anything like it. Its skin was tinged green, and it wore a small green tunic, frayed at every side. It carried a sword and shield, both of which looked like they were made of baked clay. It had small, beady eyes, and as soon as someone screamed their name, he recognized what kind of hell Vivec was about to fall into.

"Goblins!" The voice was a gurgled scream, but still loud enough for Maikau to hear it. He had heard the Legends. Altmer training Goblins to help in wars. He always knew it was true, but he never thought that he would see one of the beasts. But then, if there were Goblins, in any number, did that mean that High Elves were leading this raid? Or something else? Maybe the Ashlanders had finally mounted an attack to clear Morrowind of all the outlanders. When he had last visited, he heard that some tribes were becoming rebellious. But he had been in Cyrodill for the past three hundred years, his life sustained by the single time he had worn the ring. Would it have escalated to such an extent in such a short time? He knew of an ally that could give him the answer, but he knew nought of his location, or if he was even still alive.

When he snapped back into reality, he noticed that the Goblin had raised its sword, and he was far too late to block it. The sword lowered, then stopped dead before the goblin fell over sideways with an arrow piercing its temple. He looked to where the projectile had come from, and could think only one thing.

So he is still alive...

All of a sudden, Kah was alone, on a ship with a recent girlfriend of Arnix. He couldn't leave a women on this ship alone while he went to Vivec. So he decided to bring her along to Seyda Neen, then he would go to Vivec. "Grab on to me, we are going back to Seyda Neen, then I am going to Vivec to see what is going on..." Kah cast his recall spell that he had marked on Seyda Neen since he could remember. He then left for Vivec, with a special cloak that made him move very fast at no cost to himself. He got there in two minutes, a record in his books, and saw the battles going on. He saw goblins and daedra, and 3 aquantinces(sp?) that he saw in the midst of the fighting. Kah cast invisibility on himself and took out a bow and arrows. He would fight from out of reach of everyone, and when he had to, he would reveal himself, attack, then cast chameleon on himself. And fight from the shadows. He found the chance to reveal himself now, he fired an arrow at a Goblin attacking Maikau, and then cast Chameleon. From his position, it would look like someone else fired the arrow. Not him, so he was still safe. He moved to another position and started sniping away.

A figure appeared, almost like a wraith moving out of a shadow, directly next to Maikau. His form was hidden, camoflauged by the evening light, that was slowly turning to dusk.

"So, Korbaine, I have you to thank for the death of that creature?"

"No. A Khajiit shot it, just before I did. I redirected my arrow and took out a Golden Saint that was threatening an Indoril Warrior. So, you resorted to the ring?"

"So did you. Immortality is the only way you could still be alive."

"We all put the rings on, Maikau. That doesn't mean that I haven't forsaken its use."

"I'm sure you still have it somewhere... So, where are the others?"

"Dead."

"What? Didn't they use the rings once, as well?"

"Yes, and they would have shared our longevity, had they not been killed when the Werewolves raided Ebonheart."

Maikau's voice immediately turned to anger. "Werewolves? They're myths!"

"On the contrary, they're very real. And as much as I hate to say it, they're here. They can jump, but they couldn't clear the distance between the land and this canton, so they entered through the Foreign Quarter Bridge. With their speed, these Daedra will have reinforcments any second. Without help, Vivec will fall."

"Wait! In the stories that I read in my research, I heard that Vampires were supposedly the enemies of the Werewolves. Now, since they weren't known to exist, I'm sure it was just a rumor, nothing more. But what if it was true? What if the Vampires knew that they existed? From what I read, Werewolves are the only true match for a Vampire's strength and cunning. Would they not be mortal enemies? Would they not fight against Werewolves? What numbers do these beasts travel in?

"There're about thirty. Nonetheless, they managed to kill your kin, Maikau. Vivec's Warriors would be no match for them, even in that small of a number!"

"Perhaps not, but the Berne Vampires number in the hundreds. We all learned that first hand when we ventured into their lair. Seth was bitten twelve times, and almost drained completely. I think now would be the time to find that ring, Korbaine. We need reinforcements, and though the Quarra and Aundae clans may not come, the Berne is supposedly the most powerful of the three. Who knows what they'll do once the threat is gone, and we're weakened, but for right now, it's out only hope."

"An excellent idea. I may still have the ring on my ship... I can find it. I'll be back within the hour."

"Oh, Korbaine! One more thing. On your way down the Odai River, stop by Balmora. Tell Mora to get some of the Morag Tong down here. I doubt they've sent runners, and if they have, I doubt any have made it out. You, however, made it in. That's worth something."

Korbaine's next words were incomprehensible to all but Maikau, who recognized them instantly. "Soren Sivakei?"

"Till the enemy falls," Maikau replied as he turned, and crushed a Goblin's skull with his staff.

Kah was fighting from the shadows when he heard wolf calls. Wolves? In Morrowind? Oh no, werewolves! He quickly covered himself in some televani (was it televani?) bug musk to hide his scent, with the rest of the bloodshed, the bug musk wouldn't be noticed. He qucikly equipped silver arrows. And started firing off those at random Daedra.

Arnix ran down the steps cleving heads as he went. "One....two.....three...four....

.....

.....

thirty-one.....thirty-two.... Ha the Temple is mine!" He suprized him self he knew he was a good fighter but he never thought he could clear the temple in that short amount of time. It almost seemed like the we not even trying, like they wanted to die. "NO!" He ran and jumped into the once pure waters of Vivec and entered the Canal Works of the Temple. he looked up and saw something he never wanted to see again. the Daedra Mage that almost killed years ago. He was sourounded by his Bodyguards, Female Dremora, the deadliest form of Daedra. There were four of them.

'Arnix good to see you again, how's the wife?' He laughed.

"Dead, how's the arm?" Arnix smiled slightly.

'Gone, NO THANKS TO YOU!' If looks could kill Arnix would be dead.

"OH come on now Augur, what's an old flesh wound between to old Accedemy buddies?"

The mage said something that Arnix could not understand, and instantly his bodyguards attacked. Arnix stood on the bridge waiting for them.

'Nothing has changed has it, you still as reackless and foolish as ever.' With that the bodyguards flanked him.

"And you still have the amazing ability to underestermate everyone!"

'Nope nothing at all you still laugh at when you're about to die.'

"You, of all people should know by now, when I get like this, you die."

'That might have been the case before, but this time you wont kill me AGAIN!' And they atacked.

Arnix ducked and two of the bodyguards fell, each others blades protruding from each others faces.

'Still got the same tecniques I see.'

"Why chnage what works!"

And arnix swung back as hard as he could spliting one of their heads in half and Betsey crashing down on the other one.

"You would though by now you would have fused these things with spriggons or something?"

'I completley forgot about that, I'll kill you and do that!'

He lunged at Arnix with his Katana. "Still a friend of the fire are you?"
Arnix hit the Katan with Betsey shattering it. 'WHAT, HOW, ther is no wa....' Augurs head rolled to the floor. "Less talk more stab!"

And Arnix left with his new trophie in his hand and a smile on his face. He got back on to the Temple Cantoon. He was rushed by five Golden Saints, but Arnix just held up the severed head, and they bowed to him. "Lovely!" He walked on towards the leader of these feinds, with the Golden Saints following him. As he walked he gather more and more Golden Saints, soon all the Golden Saints were under his controll. He looke up and saw Maikau. "WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY ARMY?" He yelled and kept on walking.

Eventually he came to the leader. He was fighting off at least ten Ordinators. Arnix stood and watched. After they were all dead he threw the head at his feet. "Supprised?"

(((When what were all dead, threw whose head at whose feet?))

Korbaine leapt from the top of the top of the Palace like a Wraith, soaring past the pikes that lined the puzzle canton waterways. He saw that the werewolves were charging along the shore, toward the Foreign Quarter canton.

"Rabid canines! I'll avenge the deaths that you caused at Ebonheart, Human and Reptilian alike! He landed short of the shore, on an invisible surface. It seemed that he was hovering over ten feet above the water, suspended in place. Only one thing unnerved the Werewolf captain. His feet were flat, and he wasn't falling. He moved his hand to the left, and a hollow knocking sound emitted from an invisible source.

The werewolves ran from what they saw next. Partly out of fear, and partly out of their defenselessness of what was to come. A Galleon materialized out of thin air, as though triggered by the knocking sound. Korbaine's hand rested against the main-mast, on which three sails were mounted. On each sail, a different symbol was painted. One had a lightning bolt, which another had a flame, while the bottommost had a snowflake printed on it. The reason was immediately obvious.

Down below deck, cannons fired out of the side, toward the straggling werewolves. They didn't fire cannonballs, but rather fired spells; either fire, shock, or frost.

Three werewolves fell, while the surrounding terrain was obliterated. On the front-most sail was printed the name of the captain and his apt title.

"Korbaine Necro, Wraith of the Seas"

Korbaine's shadowy form walked toward a hatch near the mast, and opened it. After he dropped below-deck and closed the hatch, the massive ship disappeared...

((Why would the vampires wish to aid you? You forcibly drained one of their type, so that you could make the rings. They'd hate you, because you truly weren't their type, more like imposters gaining the benefits of the vampires without the downsides.))

Zakkon flew through the air, at the newly barriered Dremora Lord. Pissed as hell about this treachery, he sheathed his blades, and used a specially prepared amulet, carved from the skull of the first Deathblade, to recall himself to the Deathblade Manor in Balmora.

Not only did they look like they had the situation under control, but now he had twice as much incentive to slaughter the lot of them. However, to do that, he'd need rest.

Also, the more he saw of Vivec, the more concerned he grew of Balmora.

Going there would at least set his mind at ease.

((Sorry I guess I wasn't specific enough. I don't exactly see what you mean by whn wat were all dead, but it was Augur, the Deadra Mage's, head, at the leader of the Dremora.))

((Korbaine has his ways. I'll post as Korbaine to describe how he gets their aid.

Also, for those of you who saw my old post(where I accidently pasted the post twice), just ignore it. I modified it, so it looks normal now. Sorry it took so long...))

Maikau went through four Goblin Footmen and two Bruisers before he managed to reach the Ordinator Captain, who was doing well for himself in the battle. With his hood fallen off, his scarred, scaled face and its whitish color and yellow marks left no doubt in the Captain's mind that Vampires were now attacking Vivec as well. Maikau's speech, something that many Vampires were incapable of, set some of his nerves at ease.

"Sir, Werewolves from Solsthiem. I think they were summoned here. They'll either enter over the Telvanni Mainland bridge to get here faster, or through the Foreign Quarter Bridge to cause more widespread destruction. Don't question my race or appearance now-" He stopped, and hit a Goblin that was sneaking up on the preoccupied Captain, and then continued, "... just trust me. I have a friend bringing reinforcements. Tell your men not to attack any Vampires unless they attack first."

"Why should I trust you?" The words issued from the Ordinator's mouth like an arrow; sharp, stinging, and straightforward.

"Because, fool. I have allies that may be Vivec's only hope. I'm going to cut those damndable beasts off from the Telvanni Canton. That way, no matter which bridge they use, I'll find them. With this appearance, and the skills that I now have, I should be able to fend them off for at least fifteen minutes. Now, I may not be a General, like you, but I know of battle tactics, and I doubt you get much information in the middle of a battle. I advise you to take a third of your troops around the Temple, into the High Fane, and secure the Archcannon, which I doubt you've thought of. The Shrines in there may well be the only hope of keeping disease and Blight from spreading through the ranks. The blessings will give your troops strength, and restore their health."

Maikau's words hit the General like a boulder. How could he have forgotten the shrines in the High Fane. Though he wasn't enticed to listen to what clearly appeared to be a Vampire, he knew that Maikau's words had some truth to them. He called one of his Captains over, and gave him orders to Secure the Archcannon and the High Fane.

When he turned around, Maikau was gone, and only the corpse of a dead Golden Saint lay in front of him...

In a dim room, lit only by the faint light cast by a few candelbra, and a few candles, Zakkon suddenly appeared. As he entered the familiar surroundings, he was struck by how truly tired he was. He barely managed to eat some food, before crawling off to his chambers, and falling instantly into a deep sleep.

Korbaine beached his just North of Marandus, in Lake Nabia.

"Keep it safe, and repair the damage done to the mast by the bridge back there. We need to get back to Vivec as soon as possible, so try to get the ship in the best possible shape. Ready the cannons; there's more than Vampires in the Molag Amur Region. Post an archer on top of the mast, and have him shoot anything that comes. I'll send a flare once I exit the Berne Lair. I doubt this is their main Lair, but this is where Seth was infected.

"Have Serie's mages spout spells out of the cannons, and if something dangerous comes, have three mages on deck to take care of it. Do not, under any circumstances, set anchor. I won't be gone that long, if all goes well. Furl the sails, and keep the ship from drifting. If need be, have the mages devise a way."

With that, Korbaine jumped off the ship, and, before he landed, a small red ring slid onto his finger. He ran without stopping, directly east. He felt the ring's power take over, and he disappeared. He reappeared no more than ten seconds later when he was forced to kill a cliff racer, on top of the first set of mountains that separated him from the Berne Vampire Home.

He jumped off of that Mountain, and disappeared as he was falling. He reappeared at the base of the next mountain, when he killed a diseased alit, and as he jumped upward, he disappeared once again. He reappeared on the other side of the Mountain, only a few feet from the Berne Lair. He tried to open the rusted door, but the handle literally turned to dust as he touched it. He assumed that the place was deserted, but he knew that Vampires were good at making things look like that. With a single kick, the door fell inward, what was left of the hinges shattering into pieces.

"Vampires!" he roared into the cavern that loomed below him, "Werewolves have invaded your land!"

A voice issued forth from behind him, and though it startled him, he didn't show it. He turned to see over two-score vampires standing before him, their eyes looking directly into Korbaine's. They knew that Korbaine was not one of them, and so they did not speak to him. Only the one at the head of the group, the one that looked slightly more worn, slightly older, spoke. His voice was cracked and hoarse, as though it had not been used in years, but it was still emotionless and shadowlike, and the usually putrid smell of caked blood wafted into Korbaine's nostrils like a gift from the heavens.

"Please continue. After all, your life depends on the truth of what you just said."

'Not one bit!' And the General struck Arnix down with one hit. Arnix knew he would be powerfull but not that powerfull. "ATTACK!!!!!" He screamed and his army rushed in. But it was useless the were droping like flies. Once all the Golden Saints were dead the General once agan turned his atention to Arnix. 'Any last words?' he said making not atemped to hid his smile. "Yeah just one...... Bye!" Arnix got up and struck upwards freazing him on the spot and shattering the Dremora General.

Arnix screamed in pain, the blow not only dislocated his sholder but caused the shards of ice to lodge themselves in him. He colapsed to the ground and wispered, "Kah you better still be here," as he blacked out.

(Great chance for me to get back into the roleplay.)

Kah again saw everything in slow motion. Everything was attacking someone when he saw Arnix have his army attack. The golden saints had no chance against the dremora, they fell down blow after blow, soon too many to count littered the ground and where summoned back to Oblivion. (Play on words xd ) Kah saw Arnix attack the general when behind Arnix, there was a dremora sneaking up behind him. Kah threw his last ebony dart and destroyed the dremora in one blow. Arnix fell to the ground and he heard some very faint words in his head. "Kah, you better still be here..." Before Arnix slumped down. Kah cast invisibility, and ran as fast as he could to Arnix. He slumped down, and fetched a restore health potion, he gave it to Arnix, and then started removing some ice shards that were particularly long lasting.

((This might be a little lengthy. I'm posting as both Maikau and Korbaine in this one.))

_______________________________

Maikau fell backward as he took a blow from a werewolve's elbow. He looked upward to see twenty-two of them standing before him, with an insolent grin painted on each face. None of them spoke. They growled, and one of them even howled. But Maikau knew that they knew who he was. They knew that he was, apparently, the last of the Seimorase line in Morrowind, though in Cyrodiil, there were still three others. He rolled to the side as one of the Lycanthropy's claws came crashing into the canton. Unfortunately, they didn't stick into the Velothi stone as Maikau had hoped, rendering his counter attack useless.

He tried to leap up and land a blow on the unprotected werewolve's face with his staff, possibly knocking it out, but it brought its hand up out of the stone ground, and blocked the attack, thrusting outward with its other paw. The claws pierced Maikau's stomach like arrows before they were pulled out, and then thrust back in again. As an Argonian, Maikau would never have survived this. As a vampire, however, Maikau knew that he could.

A flame engulfed the werewolf, and it loosened its grip. Maikau slid out, and summoned a poison spell, which he then hit the werewolf with. The spell surrounded the Lycan in a thick green smog, which dispersed instantly. The poison had no effect, but the smoke had suffocated the fire, leaving the uninjured wolf with nothing but singed fur. Maikau backed up against the Canton ramp, that led up to the next level, and tried desperately to think of a technique that would work.

_______________________________

Korbaine tried to keep his voice straight, as none of the Vampires looked like they wanted to see an imposted like Korbaine alive. The Elder, however, seemed to be able to keep them at bay without physically speaking to them.

"Werewolves, possibly summoned from Solsthiem, I don't know where they came from. They are at Vivec this very instant, attacking the town."

The Elder's voice slid into the air like a snake, "And what makes you think that they're any threat to us?"

"Because," replied Korbaine in a rather insolent tone, "without Vivec, you lose over half of your blood donors. Balmora will be next on their list, and after that, Ald'ruhn. By then, your entire clan will either have to resort to cannibilism, turn more people into Vampires, or find new blood donors. Fast."

"You know much about our lives, for an imposter."

"You forget; I had to study your race when I made these rings."

"Yes... I thank you for the information, but what makes you think we will let you live."

"Because I have the fastest form of travel: a ship. It's docked at Lake Nabia, and my crew has orders to blow anything up that comes, unless I give the signal first. If I don't return at the head of the group, after the signal is given, then my crew will fight you to the death, even though you're likely to win. Travelling down the Nabia River is a lot easier than walking along the mountainous terrain of the Molag Amur region. After the fight at Vivec, feel free to kill me, but if you decide not to kill anyone, the Ordinators may just ignore your presence. If you decide to ignore my advice and run there, you may as well start toward Balmora instead. Vivec will have fallen by the time you can get there."

The Elder knew that what he said was the truth, and his clan knew that they were now on Korbaine's side, for the time being. The Elder nodded to him, and Korbaine set off, with over forty Vampires behind him. As he rounded the last mountain, he sent a fireball into the sky, where it exploded against a Cliff Racer.
