Tumma allowed the image to vanish into thin air.
"Firstly, I want to steal it, though I have no knowledge of its whereabouts. I need it to defeat that interloper...it suppresses the energy given off by the human spirit...and amplifies that of a demon. It will prevent my human core from being exposed, and give me the strength to defeat our enemies. Does the Darkness have any connection to this device that I can follow?" she asked, absentmindedly clutching her bandaged arm.

Appearing out of the ground as his ghostly form Kurochi Haizen came up behind Fenrir and spoke almost inaudable to even himself, "I am sorry i failed to show up on time, but i had some things to do elsewhere, and i had to regain my strength. Please forgive me, as i want to join you and fight along side you. Please take my powers into consideration, i could be of use to you as a personal guard, what do you think?"

((Lul. No see, my connection's great. It's just that lightning struck the pole right next to my place. Plus I've been having electronic problems lately, so it shouldn't be a surprise. I blame Strider.))

Fenrir shrugged carelessly. "No idea, I could ask though." First though, he turned to the newcomer. His sharp ears had heard the soft voice easily. It was a perk that came with his race. "No worries, friend. We won't get onto you for tardiness, it's the last thing worth doing. As for joining, you already have, by merely finding this place. Tough thing to do." He nodded and smiled reassuringly. Then he closed his eyes and communicated with his less-than-happy puppeteer. He stood that way silently for a good couple of minutes, before shuddering and opening his eyes. "Actually, yes it does. But...it's somewhere I personally wouldn't want to fall into."

"If you'd been through what I've been through in that area, you wouldn't want to go. But fine..." Fenrir rolled his eyes and approached the floating globe, glowing with a quiet hum. He waved a hand over the top of it and muttered a foreign word under his breath. The images flashed by quicker, like it was a VCR set on fast forward. Muttering again, the sights stopped, landing on the crater with a glowing orange center where the trinket was supposed to be located at. Though no sounds came through the globe, he could imagine the low rumbling sound in his mind easy enough. "There ya go. The thing in which you seek is very close to this volcano."

Kurochi listened as everyone did their own thing, waiting till someone would tell him to do something. "Fenrir, what are we gonna do, help out this pip squeak or go attack a castle or something? I'm epically bored."

"Very well. Have your ominous friend whisk me away, then, if it pleases you. I'll be back before you know it, with that artifact in my hands," Tumma assured them. She had heard stories and legends about that artifact...most of the legends turned out to be true, after Tumma researched them a bit. The thing was called the Stone of Eternal Eventide, and had a long history behind it. Tumma made a mental note to relate that story upon her return. She tightened her black bandages, and changed the form of her robes into something more form-fitting, so that her weakened body would not overheat, and her robes would not drag against the scorching ground. The back, and the right arm, from the shoulder down were open, but her left arm remained encased in black wrappings. The material across her chest decreased in size to allow her midriff and cleavage to show, and the flowing skirt-like bottom of the robe shrank and tightened to become a pair of leggings reaching to her knees. The tall boots rescinded into the leggings, leaving Tumma's feet bare. She wiggled her toes a bit, then decided it was better not to walk unshod. She willed her black, smokey, cloth-like symbiote to form a pair of light shoes to allow greater traction and movement across the craggy landscape. Her outfit formed to her liking, she waited to be transported.

"This is all gonna come back and bite me in the rear end, I bet..." Fenrir mumbled to himself, but nodded anyway. He payed no attention to Tumma's wardrobe change, though he chuckled lightheartedly at Zalmor's reaction, and patted the top of the floating image-sliding globe fondly like a pet. It quickly sank to the floor and widened like a puddle, emitting a soft white light. "Contact me if you need any help, or a way out," Fenrir said aloud, gesturing to the flattened globe on the ground. "Step onto that when you want to leave. Now, you have fun, kiddies."
