 .:Thomas ClamingtonThomas looked at the number on the paper and couldn't help but smile and blush. Was he really that obvious about being gay? He looked up and the guy disappeared toward the mountain. "Hey wait!" Thomas sighs and ran into the woods after him, but the guy was out of sight. He did however spotted a staravia in the skies. It was being attacked by a bunch of crobats, and looked really injured. Thomas eyes widened when the staravia was hit by a crobat's air cutter attack and landed on the ground hard. The other crobats started to use air cutter on the defenseless staravia. Thomas ran up to the staravia and dove overtop of it, protecting it from the attacks. With a cry in pain from the air cutters, Thomas called out, "Angel,thunderbolt, Tails, heatwave, Fear, Dark pulse!" His pokemons nodded and Jigglypuff expanded herself and then opened her mouth wide. When she did, a bolt of thunderbolt shot from it and started attacking the crobats. Ninetales opened its mouth, and a stream of flames filled the air, attacking the crobat. Gengar put its hands together and used dark pulse, and their combined attacks took out all but a couple crobats. Thomas got to his feet and looked down at his new flying friend. Then a crobat started to charge toward Thomas, trying to attack him from behind, but staravia jumped to its feet and charged at the attack crobat. Suddenly, its body turned white and its wings grew longer. Then its cry, stormed the sky, "RAPTOR!!" It's body started to give off a white glow and it charged and hit the attack crobat, causing it to faint. The bird pokemon looked at Thomas, "Staraptor!". Thomas smiled, "Cool, you evolved and used Aerial Ace!" He was so glad for the bird and then glanced up and noticed that there was one more crobat. "Runt, how about you fight this one?" Runt nodded, "Bulbasaur!!" The little bulbasaur shot vines up into the air and it grabbed the body of the crobat, "Don't let it use a flying type move on you! Slam it against the ground!" Runt nodded and did as he was told and the crobat was instantly knocked out. Thomas grinned and then turned back to Starapter, "Congrats on your evolution. Hope to see you again." Thomas and the others began to the walk away when the Starapter flew up to Thomas and in front, "Star!" Thomas rubbed the starapter's head and spoke, "Would you like to join us?" Starapter nodded and rubbed again Thomas's chest, "Ok, then I will call you Raptor!" Reaching into his pocket, he grabbed an Ultra ball and tossed it at Raptor. It shook on the ground for a little bit and then stopped. Thomas bent over and released the starapter again, "Welcome to our group Raptor." Suddenly he remembered why he came out here. He picked up his poke-gear and started to dial in the number seeing if the guy would answer.

Robyn Location: Ortus Island:Just outside the picnic area You think you have the answer...Stardust ate the poffin gratefully. It tasted delicious and the fox Pokemon almost devoured it in one bite. When Chris started to talk and pet her, the Vulpix shifted her attention to him slightly. He was asking about her trainer. The small fire pokemon swallowed the rest of the poffin with ease before saying, "Lost? Although that's a possibility, she's most likely asleep." She waited a few second for a response before almost face palming herself. "That's right. Humans don't speak Pokemon. I guess I'll just have to show you where she is."An announcement played thanking everyone for coming and requested they come to a certain location. Stardust assumed that gave her several minutes to find her trainer and make their way there. The Vulpix nodded her head in the direction of Robyn, in case Chris wanted to come. The fire type Pokemon nodded a farewell to Spot and his trainer before leaving. At a casual pace, Stardust made her way to her trainer. Robyn was still at the same tree the Vulpix left her at. The girl had a slightly startled appearance-as if she had just woken up. Stardust released a small, happy sigh. She was glad Robyn hadn't decided to explore on her own. That would've gotten the separated-like what happened in Mount Moon once. Robyn's eyes fixed on her Pokemon when she heard the sigh. "Did you hear that? Sounds like it'll be starting soon," the red and black haired girl said as she pushed herself off the ground. She dusted herself off before picking Stardust up. ...I laugh and watch you fall.

Johnny Slayer Location:Ortus island mountains In the mist of training johnny noticed his pokegear stared to buzz "Hmm i knew he'd call. heart " Johnny picked up his pokegear giggled "Hello? oh hey thomas so thats your name....nothing still in the mountains training oh!...... //>_ Johnny had forgotten he didn't have a shirt on because it was hot in the mountains. He left his gear on the rock and dressed himself "ok am back sorry ssooo" just then he heard the sound of a mans voice in the distance " look hey i'll see you at the ceremony i'll look for you ok peace" he hung up on thomas before he could say anything back to him and he proceeded down the mountian in a hurry not before calling back all his pokemon "ohmg! i can't belive he called me. heart " Mudkip on shoulder they scurry to the crowd of people gathering.

Sorren Sketchit Sorren ran through the mobs of people that were making their way to the Colosseum. His trusty Houndour Chase at his side keeping pace with him. His nails clicked on the stone path and hrum of his voice let the young man know he was still there. Stupid boat, Sorren thought, if it would have not broken down. I would have not been late Getting to Ortus Island was a sort of a problem for the young Poke artist. The small boat he had taken from Olivine City had broken down in the middle of the ocean. Luckily Sorren's Shinx, Binx, helped power it up again. The poor little guy still needed a good rest after that work out. Sorren finally gave up trying to push through the crowded door ways. He walked over to an uncrowded part of the plaza and looked down at Chase. " So much for arriving early a'boy." The Pokemon looked up at this master and gave a nod along with a short " dour" response. Ren clicked open his Pokegear that was strapped to his left wrist. It had successfully updated the map of the area. " Looks like there is a back way to get in this place." the man mummbled. And even is I get caught, I all ready know that Prof. Oak is guest speaking. Were practically like family. Sorren brought up the picture of him and the professor. Wow I look like a dweeb. He smiled and clicked his Pokegear off, then began wondering around the complex. I wonder if they want us on the field or in the stands. he thought as he twirled a yellow 2HB pencil in his hand. Location Ortus~Southern part of island

 location: Ortus island Aster over slept and jumped out of bed upon hearing the announment form the island "Oh no im gonna be late".He falls out of the bed on the ship."As a professor i cant keep over sleeping." he runs out his room and up to the captain and tells him he needs to go back to the island. One the island he spots a group of people gathered and joins them

Chris & Ryuken
Location: South Ortus Island: Just outside the picnic area The Fire Pokemon was warm to the touch, much like Axel, Chris's Charizard. But the Vulpix was different, she was soft and furry. When he asked his question Stardust looked up at him and exclaimed, "Vul Vulpix Pix Vulll" Chris looked at the Pokemon, she clearly was trying to speak to him. Ryuken laughed a little as he approached. I'm so glad that I have this aura speak ability, allows me to communicate with humans. The small fox Pokemon then gestured as if she was telling Chris to follow. So he and Ryuken walked idly along behind her. As they had begun to walk a message played over an impressive array of speakers. It was time for everyone to meet, probably for Profesor Oak's speech. Ryuken looks over to Chris, "I hate speeches, just humans droning on and on about things that don't matter to me. I think I'm gonna check out the island." With that, Ryuken dashes off with Extreme Speed. As Stardust and Chris approached Robyn, Chris's excitement faded. He was nervous. His cool and collected demeanor, gone. He started to take a couple of deep breaths. She hasn't noticed me yet, maybe I can calm myself a bit before she does. When they arrived, Robyn seemed a bit startled. She must have been sleeping. She's as much a relaxed person as I am. Although, at the moment, I'm not really relaxed. Chris stands in a nervous freeze, not sure what to say. Robyn slowly picks herself up from the ground, then she proceeds to pick up stardust. Mentally, Chris was flinching, she would notice him any second and he was so nervous he couldn't speak.

Robyn Location: Ortus Island:Just outside the picnic area You think you have the answer...When reuniting with her Pokemon, Robyn had become unaware of surroundings. So now, as she looked around, she saw Chris. Her face changed from it's usual color to a deep red. How long has he been there? Did he see me sleeping? I'm probably a complete mess. She began to hurriedly fix her hair and clothes, juggling Stardust in one arm. As she did so, her eyes kept flickering to Chris. As she finished, she released a nervous giggle. Stardust rolled her eyes and lightly nipped her trainer's arm. She wanted to give the girl some strength and encouragement. For a brief second, Robyn's eyes snapped to her Vulpix. She released her breath and drew in another. The female trainer put on a relaxed smile-her blush still apparent. "Hi," she paused for a second. "Uh, would you like to go to the main plaza together?"...I laugh and watch you fall.

Roland
Location: Ortus Isle picnic area
Roland had spent the time conversing with Kerri, killing time while waiting for the tournament. It was weird, considering the odd way they met. Roland contributed it to the good mood he was in due to being invited to a big pokemon event like this.
After a while, it became apparent that the festivities were beginning. Looking at the massive crowds, Roland decided it would be best to have all the pokemon in their pokeballs. "Arcane, return!" He said, and watched the Arcanine enter the Premier Ball in his hand. "Well then," He said to Kerri "Shall we get moving?"

Mr. Ortus
Location: Ortus Island, Main Plaza stage Mr. Ortus watched as the trainers flooded into the main plaza. He grinned with excitement with how many trainers had actually taken the time out to attend his special event. "They have have no idea what they're in for! Perfect. All is going according to plan." Ortus thought to himself, trying to stop himself from laughing. He waited a few minutes giving everyone enough time to get to the area. Welcome once again! Are you guys ready for the greatest event of your young lives?!" He exclaimed. His voice boomed throughout the island. The audience roared with applause. Mr. Ortus removes the microphone from the stand and paces a few steps to his left. Extending an arm he directs the audience's attention to the large white Pokedome to their right. "This.. is the Ortus Battle Arena! Here we will be having a wonderful tournament! This is for all you battle hungry trainers out there, ready to take on the best of the best! The winner shall receive a wonderful prize! $100000 and a wonderful trophy! The Ortus Cup!" He announced. The audience again exploded with applause. Mr. Ortus then took several steps in the opposite direction. He extended his arm once again and brought the audience's attention to the large building to their left. "Don't think I've forgotten about you, my little coordinators. Your Pokemon may partake in a lovely contest! The winner of course will win the same amount of prize money and the esteemed Ortus Ribbon! Which will get you one step closer to the Grand Festival!" He exclaimed. The audience applauded once more. Mr. Ortus walked back to where the microphone stand sat. He stroked his mustache and said, "And you scientists and Pokemon enthusiasts will get to enjoy a wonderful lesson right here by none other than The Professor Oak! This will take place right around 12:30pm! So make sure you have an early lunch folks!" He declared with a chuckle. The crowd erupted with more applause as Mr. Ortus placed the microphone back onto the stand. "So anyone participating in the tournament or the contest are invited to enter the appropriate buildings and sign up! Give it your all everyone, and thank you for attending!" Mr. Ortus concluded with a bow. The crowd continued to applause until he walked backstage.

Arcanas Location: Ortus Isle: BeachArcanas looked over at his old friend as this 'Mr. Ortus' made his announcements. "A tournament, huh? Think you and Zelgius are up for it?" The Aerodactyl met his trainer's gaze and gave a firm nod. They never had to battle much, but constantly training with Lance and Claire gave them quite the edge. Not many pokemon were stronger than Dragons. "Well then, let's go and beat that line for the tournament. We'll find Zelgius later." Sharptooth extended his wing and allowed Arcanas to climb onboard his back. They took to the skies, and saw a dome shaped building. "That must be the dome he mentioned...Sharptooth, go supersonic and beat the crowd." With that simple command, Sharptooth let out a loud screech, and took off towards the battle dome, the wind knocking Arcanas' cigarette from his lips.

Chris Location: On the way to the main plaza It's you and me... As Robyn noticed Chris she immediately seemed kind of flustered. This sat well with the young man, he wasn't the only one it seemed. When she managed a simple "Hi" he responded with the same. "Hi" Her next spoken words however were exactly what he was wanting to say to her. "Would you like to go to the main plaza together?" Chris smiled as she said this, then he answered with a simple "Sure." Chris attempted to continue conversation as they began to walk, but he was cut off by the booming voice of Mr. Ortus. As they walked along to join the others they listened to the mustached man's announcements. Finally arriving at the large crowd, they stand at the back and listen to what remained of his announcements.
Afterward, everyone began to disperse to different locations. Chris saw his opportunity to finally sit down and speak with her. "You had any lunch yet? All I've had is a protein bar. Want to go get something? My treat!" ...I know it's my destiny!

Robyn Location: Ortus Island:Main Plaza You think you have the answer...When Mr. Ortus explained all events that were to be held, Robyn's mind reeled. There was so much to do and she wasn't sure which she wanted. Having a lesson from Professor Oak many wouldn't pass up-plus her mom would kill her if she knew her daughter had this chance and didn't take it. Then again, Robyn was a trainer and wanted to try the tournament. Also, the contest seemed like it would be fun. She was thankful when Chris asked her to lunch for several reasons. The first being it would give her time to decide on what she wanted to participate in. Second, Robyn wanted spend more time with Chris. The final reason was that she was hungry. "Sure." Then after a second she added, "As long as it's not seafood." For some reason the thought of seafood after a boat ride didn't sit well with her. ...I laugh and watch you fall.

ChrisLocation: South Ortus Island: wandering around It's you and me... Chris walked along beside Robyn, checking out the many different places that were available for food. There was so much to choose from, so many kinds of foods. He was hungry, but he couldn't decide where to go, what if he chose something that she didn't like. Eventually he settled on rice balls, after all, who didn't like rice balls. The two returned to the picnic area to enjoy the the tray of rice balls, there wasn't as many people around anymore. Most were busy signing up for the various events. Chris had decided to wait awhile before he signed up. If he got in that line it was going to take forever anyway, and Ryuken wasn't around to push him. The nervous young man decided it was time to break the ice, "Wish they had some nicer places to eat around here." He sat eating for a few seconds before speaking again. "So, where are you from? I'm originally from the Orre Region." ...I know it's my destiny!

Robyn Location: Ortus Island: Picnic area You think you have the answer...Robyn was glad when Chris settled on rice balls. They were easy to eat. Plus, it was hard to make a mess with them. She took a bite of hers as he began to speak. As he mentioned that he hailed from the Orre Region, she almost dropped her food. Stardust, who had decided to take a nap on the bench, opened an eye to check on her trainer. When all seemed fine, the fox Pokemon went back to sleep. With a laugh Robyn said, "Me too. I'm from Orre. Pyrite Town to be exact." At the end of her sentence, she averted her eyes. Pyrite Town was a bad place. Well, it was. It was improving throughout the years. "Where exactly are you from?"...I laugh and watch you fall.
