Tyler felt as if liquid fire was traveling down through his hands, arms, and shoulders. Finally, the feeling moved into his chest, and he gasped as sudden pain gripped him. He fell to one knee, clutching his rapidly beating heart. He saw Ellie move to help him up, but he held up a hand in protest. He would take the pain...he would take it willingly, and he would stand tall while he was in its clutches. He stood up as the pain in his heart sharpened. A few moments passed...then the feeling subsided. He felt, in place of the pain, great strength. He felt confident enough to tear ten Brutes to shreds. His eyes widened as the room seemed to explode with new color. He saw depths of colors he never imagined...and he could hear the goings on all around the living quarters. Then, he felt his jaw pop and crack as it made room for fangs. Once the change was complete, Tyler licked his fingertips, as he had seen Eleanor do before, and felt the small cuts seal. He held up a mirror, and noted with satisfaction that his formerly pale, grayish blue eyes were now a vivid shade of lapis lazuli. He smiled with his new porcelain-like fangs, and felt an animal sense of desire boil within him.
"Where were we?" he said, running his tongue around his newly sharpened canines.

Ellie couldn't help but look at Tyler in slight shock as he stopped her from helping him. She was even more surprised when he stood on his feet through the pain. Even she couldn't do that when she was getting turned... Then again, she was only a child back then. Tyler is a grown man and was depending on his manly pride to pull him through. She chuckled a bit at this though before going to sit back down on their bed. She smiled in satisfaction when Tyler proceeded to lick his wounds closed on his own. He was learning fast. When this was over, she would have to teach him how to fight as a vampire. Pulling him close, she whispered to him before kissing him deeply, "I think I remember..."

James was in his room, taking apart his guns, cleaning them, and putting them back together again. After several times he stood up, and walked outside for some air. 'It's cold...' he thought as he walked around aimlessly, trying to figure out where the world had gone wrong.

((Okay, so before I post this, I just wanna say, I appologize for not posting yesterday. My internet went MR on me, so I had to stare at a wall to keep from tearing stuff up. And yeah, today sucked with fire training. My everything hurts. X.x))

Stretching out, Ryan decided to take a jog. After a few minutes, he thought about how life was here, and how nice everything was despite the whole zombie eating everyone problem. Everything was nice...well, everything except...him...
Ryan took a full sprint running start towards the other side of the base. Using his shoulder to blow doors off their hinges, he ran and ran, busting door after door, headed towards James' room. "WOO WOO! HERE COMES THE PAIN TRAIN! WOO BABY, YOU BETTER GET READY! THE PAIN TRAIN IS A COMIN'! YOU BETTER CLEAR THE TRACKS! WOO WOO!" Running head long towards James, Ryan pulled a flying kick from about 100 feet away, flying through 5 or 6 doors and a few walls, and aimed his foot straight into James' chest with enough force to instantly explode James' entire boddy into a red mist. "YEAH BABY! WOO!" Brushing a strand of his long hair back of his ear, he wiped blood from his glasses, and headed towards the mess hall. "All of this work has made me hungry."

Opening his eyes, he looked over to the clock. Afternoon. It had all been a dream. Quite the weird one at that. Figuring he had better get something in his belly before he went into anymore weird dreams, he got dressed and headed down and outside.
