Nicole cast one last look over the forlorn go-cart just sitting there, before taking a quick head count of the survivors. There were 6, well, 5 if the new survivor they found didn't feel like joining up with them. "I'm as ready as ready can be." She checked her shotgun to make sure that it was fully loaded with working shells. Some of her depleting ammo had been duds. "Even though I know we should all stick together, I'd think it'd be easier if there were three pairs of two, both pushing shopping carts, or just one of the two. Each pair will go to a different part of the store. What do you think?" She asked Tyler, genuine curiousity in her voice.

(('Tankls. I thought it was going to be just me and Dragon, but this works too. Oh man, I can't wait until I initiate the thing I want to do at Walmart! It's gonna be so fun!))

((Hmmm...I just had a change of heart. I have a plan =D))

Russ had just been sitting idle for some time but soon he heard some shuffling. He checked out the doors and saw a horrible sight. An extremely large amount of zombies heading this way a few seemed weird. "Yo, John! We got incoming and lots of it. A few look strange though." Russ was just looking back when he saw one of the weird ones move and a long rope like thing came flying at Russ. He ducked and he saw what it was. It was a hand with some kind of tentacle for the arm. "Hey, uh, Tyler? Have you ever heard of these zombies mutating?" Russ thought back to the large zombie with extra strength. Then the tentacle arm moved and grabbed him. He had forgotten his katana on the wall. His shot gun he wasn't able to get to until after he was pulled through the broken glass door and near the zombies. He shot off the tentacle and got up just to be pulled again now into the crowd of zombies. "s**t! Tyler!" He was pulled into the zombie crowd and wasn't heard again and the zombies moved on. Russ awoke a few minutes later in a chair. He struggled but found he was restrained. He looked around to see zombies standing near the door and he struggled again. "That won't help anything." an airy voice spoke to him. Slightly rotten as well. A chair turned to reveal a rotting man with a large bulge in his skull like his brain was larger than average. "Who are you?"

"I don't know. All I can remember is dieing and waking up smarter and I found that lesser zombies follow my mental commands." The rotten being seemed to think. "I guess you can think of me as Gravemind. I control all zombies in this city. Except those that have sentience as well." Gravemind looked at the two zombies beside the door and the came and lifted him. "Don't worry. They won't eat you. I'm going to let you go but I warn you if you try to take any survivors with you when you leave that I shall set all my mind against you and you will lose. Good day." Gravemind turned in his chair and Russ was led out and handed back his radio.

((...Let's say it's my "red car theory" =D...Omg Silas, you call it Wally World too?! OMG again, Gravemind! Gah, references! *crashes into a wall from hyper-activeness* I dunno, I know zombies can mutate, but can they get smarter?))

((Rollin' like a toxic waste barrel!...If I did make a villain charrie for this, how would I make one? Would it be kind of like an L4D thing? Man, Strider, I kind of noticed this: You like having your good guys get restrained in chairs and lab tables by your bad guys, lol... X| ))

Nicole was confused suddenly. "Did Russ just get pulled in there...?" She asked no one in particular. "Wait...Pulled into Walmart? By zombies?" Repeating herself, she went nervous then, holding her shotgun tightly. Not that she was very afraid of them, but if the zombies could coordinate their attacks like that, they wouldn't have a chance. But they couldn't just rush in there. That would be next to suicide. She clicked the walkie talkie button down. "Russ, do you read me? Are you there? What the heck just happened?"

Daniel worken in silence for a while, then went to James and Tyler. "My name's Daniel Wolfe. I got my PSG-1 after i found a dead russian competition sniper team back in Fort Gillam. They had more than enough ammo to last a while. And in any case, I have my other weapons to fall back on." Daniel motioned to his FA-MAS, Desert Eagle, and sakabatou. "I'm set." Anyway, what's about to happen?"

((Alright, I changed the rules up and posted your new character, Strider. @Ty: I don't really know how to do villains in a world full of seemingly mindless zombies...I guess i didn't think this through... sweatdrop Gimme your best shot. lol)) "The hell do we do about Mr. Gravemind? ((Halo FTW!)) I say we shoot him and go in anyway. We need supplies, and it'll be dark soon. We gotta make use of the daylight. Nicole? Ellie? What d'you reckon?"

"If what he said is true he may even be able to read our thoughts. Though I don't think we can't just leave all these people here. Now as for supplies I don't think he really cares about us taking some. It's leaving with these new survivors that will be the trouble. I think he's allowing them to live so his zombies don't starve and die." Russ shivered. This Gravemind was creepy.
