Elly chuckled when Tristan told her that he was rough and the wink made it that muc funnier and interesting. She had stopped chuckling though when he said he wasn't always as nice as he was. Elly didn't want to preasure him into telling her, but she was curious. "It's kinda funny how people can change and you find out that they used to act a certain way. Sometimes its with people you wouldn't think twice about too" she voiced out and smiled, knowing that it had to be true for other people too.

Tristan nodded in agreement, taking a moment to return to his corporeal form, the glow from his eyes fading as he succeeded. "I need to work more on that.... Yeah, it definitely is funny when it's someone you wouldn't think about. Vira tells me I've always looked like a ruffian to her." He paused, sighing lightly as he ended up smoothing it by taking a sip of his drink instead. "Yeah... I don't blame her for saying that." His hand nearest to her started to change, forcing it to remain solid. "I wasn't always that way. I used to be a really sweet kid. I mean, I don't have any fond memories of sitting on a grandparents lap since... well... none of the extended family approved of their only daughter marrying the "freak of nature" my father apparently was." It was obvious in his tone that he was still bitter about that, his eyes still lowered moreso towards the table than looking at her. Now that he knew there was a possibility his mom had a sister, he hoped that maybe someone would.
"Our small family was happy despite that. Well... until dad died. Then mom changed and drank more. She tried to keep up caring for me, but... frankly...she was devastated. I found her dead one morning with a note next to it. I gathered some things and ran away that day. I didn't want to have to be raised by people that had abandoned our family my whole life. I was so hateful of the world then... I felt that survivors guilt, I was depressed, I felt rejected by the world, I was.. angry. I was young, I was only nine. I still didn't fully understand the ways of the world. Part of me wondered if I was the reason she killed herself, if I reminded her too much of him or something. When someone tells you you're cursed enough times, you start wondering if it's true. I never quite fully recovered emotionally." He raised his eyes to her, doing his damndest to keep himself corporeal, though his eyes betrayed no emotions. He just held his normal, neutral expression. "I was a thief, one time I fought a homeless man for the food he held. Whenever I changed form, someone usually saw me and screamed and ran. The ones who may have known what I was didn't do anything to help. They'd maybe give me some coins, one gave me a danish. Other homeless men and once a woman fought me for the things I had. I won considering it's advantageous to be able to have blows go through you. Almost killed a guy once because of that. I wasn't about to give up the last things that reminded me of my parents." He lowered his eyes from her again, taking a deep breath. "I kept away from orphanages and was eventually found by this gang of kids who ran away from home like me. Their acceptance... that was the first step towards me being ok. They calmed me, I learned guitar and earned a more honest living playing on the corner in the park where we found Vira. She was as broken as I was, maybe moreso but that small group of us healed each others wounds. I became nicer." His voice had gone quiet, his violet eyes finding hers, hoping she would think nothing less than him. "The only ones here that know any of that are Vira, and probably Atlas considering he was the one who found us in the park before we came here." He decided to fill the silence with a bite of chicken, his eyes lowering once more.

Elly listened to Tristans story, not really showing any expression until the end of it. Somehow, no matter how much she told herself she wouldn't, tears started trickling down Elly's cheeks and eyes. Everytime she tired to whipe them, they reformed like they grew there. "Ah! How rude of me to cry, I didn't even want to, heh. I had no idea that you went through that much grief... and Vira too, I thought I knew her well, but I suppose knowing her past didn't really concern me when I met her. I really apologise for crying like this..." she said hastily, rubbing her eyes, only making them more red and puffy. She tried to giggle a bit to make the situation lighter, but she wasn't sure how Tristan would react. She finally put her hand on his, or at least around it somehow, "Don't worry about being sad or alone, I'm always here, and I probably always will be, I can't seem to get this darkness together, heh. So whenever you or Vira feel like that, just come to me" she offered, smiling, though the tears still flow down her pink cheeks.

God dammit. She cried. He hated to see that. He didn't mean to cause it. He shook his head, a little at first, and then moreso as she kept apologizing. "Shh, Elly it's alright. You don't have to apologize. It... It shows you feel empathy. It's alright." He told her gently, her giggle bringing a brief smile to his features, his hand giving hers a gentle squeeze. He listened to her silently, his thumb stroking her skin gently for a moment. "Don't worry, we will. Elly, maybe the right lesson just hasn't happened yet." He reached up his one hand and brushed the tears from her cheeks, his smile softening as it lingered. "Someday I'll not transform randomly. Someday you'll get it under control. Someday Vira will get her elements under control. She's as volatile as you when shes emotionally unstable with her elements. Just gotta be patient." He said softly, the smile relaxing so his face was neutral once more.

Elly started to smile again, happy that he wasn't offended by her tears, and happy to know that he had such a possitive attitude about things. She could still feel his thumb on the back of her hand and she shook her head to get rid of it. "Okay! Lets not fret about sad things anymore! We must seize the day! Lets go do something fun. But what...?" she said aloud, thinking of what there was to do. It was getting darker so the forrest was a bad idea. And there wasn't much else to do on the campus grounds except sleep, and Elly was way too energetic for that.

Tristan was relieved when he saw her smile, exhaling slowly as he took a sip of his drink. He didn't like to see girls cry, it upset him greatly. Especially her and Vira since they were so positive. "Good plan. We need better dinner conversation." He chuckled, now pondering what they could do given the time of day it was. Or well...early evening. Frankly, the night was his time but the stuff he did wasn't very er... entertaining. "Anything immediately come to mind? Usually I stay up and chill outside on the rooftops. Vira flies around or wanders around campus. Sometimes she just sings. What do you normally do?"

"Hmm... well if im not sleeping then I am outside watching the stars or hanging out with friends. Most of them either haven't come yet, or are too tired to hang right now so I guess i'll watch the stars tonight, since its clear out. the best place is on the top of the school building. They have the perfect ledges to dangle your feet or lay on" she told Tristan and remembered how she would often contimplate the universe on the cement rooftops.

Tristan thought about it when she mentioned hanging out with friends, inwardly grimacing since he realized how few friends he did have at Estelle. If he had more he'd probably be chilling with them for sure. "The roofs are rather perfect for perching. Vira often yells at me to go inside and sleep. I never really need it." He shrugged lightly, wraiths were spirits. Did spirits ever sleep? Technically not. It was still a good idea for him to though. It allowed him to ensure he stayed corporeal more often. Finishing up with his plates, they were now empty, the last of his drink getting sipped as he pilled his plates together and stood up. "Shall we?" He asked, cocking his head a bit, his violet orbs resting upon her.

"Sure. Where to?" she asked, gathering up her plates and getting up to put them where the dishwashing area was at the end of the cafeteria and where many large black trashcans sat for scraps and trash. The people working there were very nice and often struck conversations with people and not in a creepy way either.
Once the got outside, a slight whoosh and a caw came fromt he sky and a white hawk with black tipped wings perched itself on Elly's shoulder. "Oh! It's Echo, my pet hawk. I'm so used to him going away for days on end that sometimes I forget I have him. How are you my little friend?" she asked him, nuzzling her head on his and making some cooing and clicking noises for him to understand her affection for him. He cooed and clicked back, taking a strand of her hair and playing with it.

He followed her to the dish washing area, thinking over which roof would be best. "Well, to the roof tops. Just debating which one." Tristan answered her, brushing his bangs aside as they headed outside.
Looking up at the sound, he saw the hawk suddenly come from nowhere and land on his friends shoulder, blinking once since it was unexpected. "I sometimes wonder if I should adopt some animal since it seems like most around me have pets. Though, they have a tendency of being afraid of me..." He mused, allowing his body to return to it's natural state, the fading light glowing right through him. He offered a hand to her, already starting to float off of the ground. "So miss, where would you like to perch tonight?" He asked with a small smirk, wondering if he'd find Vira flying around. She had been oddly absent all day and it did concern him a little, but he also knew she was quite capable of taking care of herself.

Echo had flown off of Elly's shoulder when tristan offered her his hand. Flying with other people sometimes scared Elly, even though she was able to fly by creating wings, but a lot of the time she just wanted to be with people to see how they flew around. "If you want a pet, I could always make you one, out of light and darkness. It's actually really easy to create living things when you are what gives and could end life. Hmmm.... I don't really care but, I suggest the school building. she commented, first on the fact that all animals were afraid of Tristan and second because of his questions as to where they should go.

At her reply he laughed loudly, the gesture easy to take as rude. He was so loud in fact that several students at nearby tables looked up to see what was so funny. "So fae like, you have a way with words," he explained, licking his pale lips as he finished speaking, taking a further bite of his food, picking up one of the small cooked faeries whole. Despite the fact that he used no cutlery he still looked elegant. "I'm certain it will end the same way it always has...just the journey will change," he explained, replacing the meat for a few more slices of fruit, again chilling them beforehand. "Soon you'll worry yourself, believe you are getting too close. It won't be fear, just a concern; nibbling at the back of your mind. You'll try to avoid me, politely at first before growing firmer. However, your my teacher...we'll be seeing each other everyday over an extended period of time. Naturally i'll be charming, the "perfect Gentleman" as it were, to the point where your concern lessens. You'll fall deeper, letting things slide which you'd never thought possible before you met me. It is then that you'll grow scared, you'll be frightened, perhaps angry that i'm changing you into someone you don't want to be. Of course by then it'll be too late, it'll be impossible to stay away; you'll console yourself by saying you agree to the changes. Then it's just a short step to falling hopelessly in love with me." as he explained his voice stayed level and calm, neutral as if he were merely talking abou the weather. As the lights began to dim as evening approached he allowed more of himself to be in the light from the window, and therefore closer to her. He wasn't sure what her reaction would be, but didn't expect her to be too alarmed. She'd claimed to have known fae before him, she should have realised how arrogant they could be early on.

Blinking, it wasn't clear but he did flush a little at the thought of her making something specifically for him. The only person who usually did that for him was Vira. "Oh you don't have to. I don't really mind at all." He smirked slightly, taking her hand gently, lifting her easily off the ground with him as if she were air. The hand he held seemed to appear slightly more translucent, the two heading up to the top of the school building. He was a little worried she would be uncomfortable, but so far she seemed fine, the two landing lightly upon the top of the roof. He landed a little behind her, solidfying once the two were guaranteed to not fall or anything.

Tsuki couldn't help but smile slightly at his laughter to her response, glancing up to see the other students looking at her table. She waved a hand to some to show it was alright, a couple just chuckling and returning to their conversations. Raising an eyebrow, she didn't realize that she apparently sounded like a fae. "Well thank you. I do try." She smirked, taking a sip of her drink. The color of teal in her eyes seemed darker the more she drank, as if it were rejuvinating her somehow. She continued to eat while she listened to him talk, glancing up to him occasionally. The journey will change hm?
It was amusing to her how he talked about it so casually, as if it were a sure fire thing to happen. Oh the arrogance of the fae knew no bounds. It was truth, it would simply depend on how he was. "That sounds like a lovely tale. But you forget I tend to be trouble, and I've managed to maintain a rather flexible wall between my students and myself." She pointed out, even before she never really tried to put distance, she always seemed... removed. "Besides, you'll have so many girls pining for your attention. I can't deny them that possibility. Or are they not to your tastes hm?" She teased, smirking with a chuckle as her eyes fell upon him, popping some pork and rice into her mouth.

Once Elly was set down by Tristan, she felt much better, even though the flight wasn't much of a scare as she thought it would be. As she felt the strong structure under her, she let out a sigh. Not a sigh you would hear from finally being let down, but one that was like a confirmation of satisfaction. She fixed her outfit a bit and sat on the edge of the building, staring up at the sky that wasn't yet full of stars, but was starting to show signs of stars peaking out. "that was fun, thank you" she commented, swinging her legs back and forth and smiling, looking for a constilation in the sky. "There's an astrology teacher that likes to watch the sky every night and he made it so that lights can't polute our visions of the night sky. he would always say, 'the sky is something beautiful to look at, so why must we be poluted from it?' He's such a nice man too, Mr. Paker is his name if you ever need to tak a class."
