(I will be playing as None Playing characters now...so we can start the Madness! D: )
[Darkclaw shifted in his den.
His brother, Nightstreak, had been acting strange. They had found a dead vole with strange white spittle around its lips lying on their side of the border the day before. His brother had hungrily devoured it, and ever since, he'd been acting strangely. Nightstreak's temper had flared as well.
And, sometimes, Nightstreak would stare off and get a scary look in his eye. Darkclaw had to call his name, and Nightstreak would snap his head in Darkclaw's direction, almost as if he was going to attack. Then his face would clear, and he would apologize for his behavior, claiming he hadn't gotten enough sleep.
Darkclaw soon nodded asleep.
But when he woke up, his brother's nest was empty.
He leapt to his feet, worried. He followed his brother's scent trail, and it led him into a small clearing a few cat-lengths away from camp.
His brother was sitting in the middle of the clearing, rocking back and forth.
Nightstreak then stood up and began stumbling raggedly away.]
"Nightstreak!" Darkclaw called.
[This time, Nightstreak just stopped. Slowly, his head swiveled around and he stared at his brother.
His eyes were dead, and there was white spittle foaming at his lips.]
"Nightstreak?" Darkclaw repeated, this time with a little fear.
[Nightstreak moaned. He then began to snarl, the white foam dripping to the ground. His eyes had a crazed look to them.]
"N-nightstreak!" Darkclaw cried, terrified. "Nightstreak, what's wrong?! Don't you recognize me?! I-I'm your brother!"
[Nightstreak gave no response. His hair bristled, and after a loud roar, he bolted towards Darkclaw.
Terrified, Darkclaw scrambled away desperately. Nightstreak caught up quickly. He clamped his jaws down on Darkclaw's hind legs. Darkclaw howled in pain, and began to tussle with his brother in the marshy mud.
He realized with horror that his brother was trying to kill him.
He managed to break loose, and bolted toward camp. Nightstreak was submerged in sticky mud, and he howled angrily as his prey fled.
Darkclaw's leg smarted painfully. He smashed through the camp entrance, howling.]
"Help!! Help! Somebody help me! My brother's gone mad! He attacked me! He's insane!"
[Suddenly a strange force took over Darkclaw. He shuddered as a StarClan cat took control of his body.
This time, as he screamed, his voice had changed.]
"Beware, Clan cats! The next curse has come!
First comes pain, then comes anger.
It will eat away at your conscience
and you will wander astray.
Thus you will kill
everything you see
and spread the Madness on its way."
[Darkclaw shuddered. His eyes rolled backwards in his sockets. He collapsed on the ground as the StarClan cat's hold receeded.]

 [As if on cue, Fathom and Leapordkit padded into the clearing. They saw Darkclaw lying in the middle of the clearing, but they couldn't smell the blood because of the bushels of big, soft, brown cure flowers they brought with them.
Fathom padded forward and dropped the flowers on the ground.]
"We have found the cure flower for the whispering flowers!" he yowled triumphantly.
[Believing that the cat's shocked faces were because of his and Leapordkit's triumph, Fathom picked the flowers back up and padded proudly into the medicine cat's den, where he dropped the soft brown flower plants onto the cool den floor.]

[Moonflower woke to the sound of yowling. She jumped to her paws and ran out of the warrior's den. She watched as Fathom pad into the medicine den, and her gaze flickered to a lump of gray fur in the clearing. She ran up to him.] "Darkclaw?" [she mewed.]

[When no answer came, Moonflower nudged him.] "Darkclaw? Are you okay?" [she whispered. She settled down next to him and pressed herself against him.]

Ravenw-no Ravenstar padded into camp.It was sun high and now she had to appoint hwr deputy.On the wayback she had thought this over and knew who she would choose.Ravenstar jumped and landed on the stone."Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting."Ravenstar's voice rang out clear and confident.
(Do you want me to appoint the deputy now or wait.)

[Moonflower looked up from where she laid with Darkclaw. She ran over to Ravenstar.] "Ravenstar! Darkclaw won't wake up!" [she cried.] "And I can't find Nightstreak anywhere!"

Ravenstar's neck fur rised.She ran over to Darkclaw and p[ressed her ear to Darkclaw's chest.Ravenstar relaxed as she realized he was still breathing.Ravenstar turned to look at Moonflower."Its ok he's alve just out of it."Ravenstar mewed as she started dragging Darkclaw to the Medicine den,where she layed the young tom down.
