Armand smiled as Kai swam around in him lazy circles. "Well it's nice to meet you Kaiyou...um, Kai. Oh, and I'm not too worried about Zori...she can't be as bad as Veronica, especially on a bad day." Armand slowly drifted behind Kai and let his body drift along the current his tail created."So how long have you been in your team?" Armand felt the need to make some form of conversation, although he couldn't exactly figure out why. Damon felt like Suki's personal defenses were lowering a tad, so he decided to push...just a little bit further, "Oh, you'll meet loads of girls. But that's all they'll be...just girls, because, I must say, none of them will come even close to your eloquent beauty~" His smile never wavered, despite the fact that what he said was a complete and utter lie. Well, Suki was pretty, but you can be sure Damon would find another girl to eye over if this didn't work out, which it usually didn't. Veronica smiled, and this time, actually smiled, as in she was really happy, and laughed, "Heheh, i don't think you'll have much of a problem with losing him. It looks as if he'd be a bit too slow to go very far before anyone noticed..."

Armand looked pensive for a bit, "Yeah, like I said we're fairly new too. It's such a big place...it's so easy to get lost, especially when you can float through walls." Armand stared up at the sky, the stars were starting to poke through the dark blanket of night, they would have to leave soon, rest would do them all some good. This time Damon's smile faltered completely, and was replaced by one at only half power, hard to get was nice, but this was getting a tad ridiculous. "Honestly, you really are quite a pretty Misdreavus, but are you always so fiesty?" He wasn't always so...blunt, but his patience was wearing thin, if Suki was interested in him, great, but if not, he really didn't enjoy being toyed with [lol, foreshadowing you won't get yet]. Veronica smiled again, but this time it didn't reach her eyes. She had grown accustomed to being immune to any form of empathy, but she saw a lot of herself in this Cubone. "Oh... well I'm sorry for your loss. It's a shame when young ones pass away...." She trailed off completely unsure of what to say next, she was afraid that something she might say would trigger tears, something Veronica had never been good at dealing with those.

Veronica burst out with laughter, she just couldn't help it! She didn't care if it was offensive or rude to laugh, but it was just amazing how much Luna reminded Veronica of...well, herself! She settled down after a few seconds and patted Luna's back in a very, football-ish manner, "Hah! I can tell you and I'll get along just fine. If you ever need another firm hand in taking care of...that, just gimmie a call." Veronica laid back, her arms propping her up, and watched the others. Damon adjusted his sitting position into a more casual one, "Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. It's just..." Damon trailed off. She had butterflies? It was very unusual for Damon to feel the way he did... he'd met loads of girls while in the gang, but he'd always felt the same "just for fun" lust. Possibly it was because this was the first female GHOST-type that he had met? Heck, he hadn't even met a decent looking Dark-type. Damon quickly shook his head, snapping him out of his thoughts, "Hey, would you like to...um, go grab a bite to eat sometime, you know, together?" It was probably the fact that he had witnessed a more vulnerable side to Suki, but he felt the need to ask. Was he moving too fast? Maybe, but if there was one thing he learned in his lifetime, it was that it never hurt to ask (unless you count getting slapped as "hurt"). Armand frowned a bit, "Yeah....I don't get it either. I mean, the leaders are practically related, both of them being Eevee-lutions and all. Something bad must have transpired between them, and despite that, after what I witnessed in the main hall with that...thing, I highly doubt civil war would be the best thing." Armand shuddered, remembering the previous night, "And what is with those atrocities that have been attacking the guild? First that gray Tangrowth that seeped blood, and now I'm hearing about a black Weavile with a mutated arm? I blame the Toxic Waste Dump over in the Northern Territories." Armand stopped speaking but continued to think. There was certainly something going on in this guild, something that he wasn't sure anyone knew about. Those Pokemon weren't just mutated, he knew that much. How did he know? Well lets just say his Foresight taught him more than now to hit a very Evasive Tangrowth.

Damon's smile instantly broadened to full capacity; Score! He ripped off a nearby crystal from it's nearby resting place and tossed it into his mouth, chewing as he thought of what to say next. He swallowed, his body filling with the nutrients the carbon-based minerals provided him, "So... do you know any interesting places to go? I have been living in a cave most of my life, ya' know~" He chuckled slightly at his own joke, he sure hoped this would end well...or not end at all. Armand whistled quietly, "Wow, five? Sounds like that Weavile has quite the attitude problem. I hope the guild didn't suffer that much of a blow..." Armand glanced over at Kai as his current brought them within his field of vision, "Disease, eh? I wonder how much is known about it.". Suddenly Armand's head was fill to burst with questions; Was it contagious? Was it a virus? A parasite? Was it organic or Pokemon made? Maybe not even of rational explanation? And most importantly, why had his Foresight been wrong?...or had it? So many questions, and he had no source knowledgeable enough to answer them. Veronica just smiled, she had nothing to say and she was enjoying herself too much. She raised her one eyebrow slightly when the Slowpoke didn't react to the tickling, but gave a short laugh that sounded more like a bark when it finally did gurgle a laugh. Veronica stared out at the spring, it looked as if Damon had made a new friend, Armand too. Despite the rough beginnings with that thing that attacked the guild, this day had turned out superbly.

Veronica smiled, "Heh, Gary sounds like a great name, it...suits him." Veronica gave the Slowpoke another good look. The was obviously dim, and she meant really dim, it was a wonder it even knew how to form actual sounds. Damon was still smiling, "Ice cream sounds great! Hey uh... you wouldn't happen to know if they sell any...organic options do ya?" His eyes quickly glanced to and from the nearby crystals, embarrassed to admit the fact that real food wasn't really his cup of tea, not that he wouldn't sacrifice his appetite for a pretty girl [;3]. Armand righted himself as the current stopped and he began to sink, "Hm...I suppose...". DING! Armand was suddenly fully alert, that had been a message from Yvette, he was sure of it. "Hey, Kai, it's been a pleasure hanging out with you, but we gotta run." Armand put his hand to his mouth and whistled loudly, "Come on guys! It's time to head out! Say your goodbyes and get a move on!"

Armand rounded up his troops by the shore-line of the springs, "Okay guys, let's head back, Yvette just sent me a message, the egg was moving. I want to be there when the little guy...or girl, hatches-Damon? Where do you think you're going?" Armand crossed his arms and looked accusingly at Damon who had been slowly backing away and closer to the exit of the springs. He started, "Um, ya' know... I was uh..." He bolted for the exit. Veronica stomped the ground angrily, "Damon, you sleeze-ball! Get back here!". Despite Veronica's protests Damon continued running, he waved and shouted over his shoulder, "I gotta go somewhere, I'll be back later!". Veronica was about ready to give chase, but Armand put his hand on her shoulder, "Let him go. There's no use in stopping him, he'll just resent us if we did," Armand and Veronica began walking in the direction of the guild, "Heh, you sound just like a middle-aged mother" Armand just laughed.

Atra slowly padded to the edge of one of the pools, glad to see that the area was empty. He had always loved this place, ever since he discovered it as a small eevee. Over the years more people have began to find out about it, so he was finding it harder and harder to come and get the area to himself.

He laid down at the edge of the warm pool, dipping a paw in experimentally. The water hissed as it came in contact with his fur, and he cringed at the slightly stinging pain. He'd be damned though, if he let his unwilling evolution stop him from enjoying his favourite place.

Taking a deep breath and slowly took one step at a time into the pool, the water around him bubbling fiercely. It hurt terribly on contact, but once he was fully submerged it faded away to a dull ache. The water around him boiled, bubbling and steamed, and there was nothing he could do to stop the annoying thing.

He padded over to the crystal walls, sat against it, and closed his eyes.

Arceus damn it, there's been way too much happening recently. To say he was feeling miserable is an understatement. He had evolved against his will in order to save his best friend, who ended up dead anyways. His father then just spat on him, giving his grieving son no sympathy. He was still reeling over the fact he had used Judgment, having reshaped half a mountain with the power of god, his friend Katara had recently tried to kill him and in self-defense he had nearly killed her- and to add to all that he had a perfect opportunity to kill Selena.

And he had just sat there, giggling like an idiot.
