As Kyo, got onto the stage the Governess turnned around and hidden from the crowd, shot him a death glare and a look that said, 'you'll be chewwed out later' before she spun around on her heels towards the crowd with a smile on her face. "Alright, now that the great and powerful Kyo is here I think we should get this show started!" She said in an upbeat and cheerful voice, the exact opposite of her usual personality before the music started up and she began to sing the Duet.

Kyo gingerly collapsed his hands together, almost as if in prayer, and waited as the piano played it's small intro. He slowly opened his eyes, and let their resplendent gaze fall upon the audience as he opened his mouth to sing the sorrowful tune that had been with the town since it's beginning.
"Shimmering so bright Guiding light, divine Flow along the sea Of fading stardust Reminisce the touch Over the hands you still clutch We'll belong lost in the past Left to emancipate
We pray among the clouds In the pitch blackness of night Our voices ascend to the stars There's will to overcome Though we stumble and fall
In this serenity . . . Eternity . . .
We ask the starry sky The reason to keep on our cruise Why we suffer and Struggle 'til end Though the darkness may prevail Alighted heart shall avail
In this serenity . . . Eternally . . ."
Kyo's suppressed thoughts began to take hold of him, which caused him to collapse to his thighs and clutch at his heart. He tried to hold back tears. Just as the orchestra hit it last note a lone clap came from off stage.

As the final notes of the duet between Kyo and the Governess faded, just before the audience had the chance to begin applauding, a haunting peal of laughter overtook the stage. The people in the crowd began to mutter and whisper, until a figure stepped out into the open from behind the prop. It was a woman, of average build and beauty, who was striding across the stage, clapping her hands together in mock applause. Her lips were twisted into a malicious grin and she looked to be laughing.
She reached the Governess and shoved her aside, continuing forward until she reached Kyo. The whole procession seemed to take forever, but it was all so sudden that no one seemed to be able to move. In an instant, the woman was on him, enclosing her fingers around his throat and pushing him to the ground.
Her voice rang out wildly, "I've been waiting for this for a very long time, young master."
Her focus slid away, to the audience. "Find him. If you can."
Her laughter pealed out once more and the two of them flickered, like bad television reception, before disappearing. A bright flash followed the vanishing act, and when they regained their vision, the crowd was astonished to find a message, a riddle, traced out on the backdrop of the stage. It was the color of blood.
Among broken stones dark things do hide, And with them now does Kyo bide, His time is short, His mind derailed, For in curses old, this town is steeped, And their keeper lies in the eyes of the keep.

EVENT MODE!
Among broken stones dark things do hide, And with them now does Kyo bide, His time is short, His mind derailed, For in curses old, this town is steeped, And their keeper lies in the eyes of the keep.
Someone must solve this riddle lest Kyo dies! Doing so will open up the next scene and the next event can take place. First person to solve will receive an award. Must be solved through a normal post. Kyo and Seven are excluded from this competition. [Mini, mini, VC-edit, because Seven was a dummy and put an extra "in" in the last line of the riddle...]

Fen LuyenFen watched quietly as the two sang. Kyo's voice was surprisingly pretty for being a male. As the woman on stage suddenly made her way towards Kyo, he knew was something was up but for he could react it was over. "What the hell just happened," he yelled over at Orso. ( +1)

"No one would know if I were to disappear...Seven didn't know what to think; she was still blinking her eyes against the bright light that had temporarily blinded them. The performance had been amazing, as it always was when Kyo performed--the Governess had done beautifully as well--and the arrangement for the orchestra had sounded perfect.
But then that woman had strutted her way across the stage and made a scene of making off with Kyo, who hadn't had a chance to defend himself. Seven could only stare up at the backdrop while people swarmed away from the stage in a minor panic.
"Was that part of the show? " "They'd never done that before!" "Are they okay, you think?"
The flood of sound disoriented her....Since the lights are so beautiful."

DiWhile the others ran away from the stage in fright, Di stood her ground amongst the stampede. The riddle puzzled her. Always the curious one, she stood staring at the backdrop. "Broken..." she said to herself. The only thing that she could think of that was broken was the stall she had crashed into during her fight with Lawrence. But the stall wasn't made of stones. Unless it referred to something being broken by the rush of people running away from the stage at that very moment. "Time is short," Di added. "I'll bet." The whole thing was confusing. It was going to take some time to figure out. Walking over to a nearby tree, she sat down at the trunk and started to brainstorm.((+1 Total: 51))

"Everyone calm down!" Orso yelled over the crowd, heading to stand at the stage. The search for Lawrence would have to wait for now. "Pardon me, governess." He said, bowing to her a bit. "Everyone quiet and listen. This is not a scheduled part of the show so I need everyone to quiet down." Garrosh temporally stopped his search, flying to perch softly on the ground near Orso, shifting back from his crow form into his human form. "Everyone, quiet down now!" he yelled loudly to the panicked stricken crowd. He hoped the added presence of a second person would help the crowd get over their panic. "Please listen to what my friend has to say."

......... ....................There are so many ways...
Rose watched in horror as the blond young man disappeared with the young woman.....as people started to run away she was knocked over and trampled....she had very bad luck apparently....
"Ugh," she pulled herself up off the ground....
"Must.....read...riddle...." she read it and thought to herself....she had no idea what it could mean....she saw Di near the tree trunk. She hobbled towards her and slumped against it........
"What can that riddle mean?" the words tossed in her head....
Among broken stones dark things do hide, And with them now does Kyo bide, His time is short, His mind derailed, For in curses old, this town is steeped, And their keeper lies in the eyes of the keep.
"Eyes of the keep?.... Keep is like a fortress or church....eyes....lights? windows? ugh...." she still sat confused....
a heart can break...

The song was beautiful and she'd totaly out sung that Summoner Brat, she honestly disliked people who were so goody-goody, it was infuriateing. In any case she took a bow as soon as the song ended and was immdiately pushed aside, falling onto her rear as a woman came and wisked the Summoner away. Now she didn't like him but she didn't want him kidnapped either. She sighed and thought about the riddle to herself for afew moments, meanwhile a guard was trying to calm people down and not doing a very good job. She thought she could help with that, she stood up and readied herself on her heels. 'Among broken stones...' The answer was obvious if one just paid attention to those few words. She walked back up onto the stage before speaking. "Everyone calm down! Your Governess is here and she will not lead you astray! I promise we WILL get to the bottom of this!" She looked about, wondering how she'd know if she was right or not. "The answer is Ruins! Ruins of some sort! The stones are broken and spirits of the dead often reside there, I'll go a step forward and assume its a castle simply to go witht the spirit motif." She said, pleased with herself.

"Wait till the day you finally see..."Luka Ruadh, an absolute newcomer to the town of Semblance, raised her hand and stepped forward from the abated crowd. She didn't know very much about the place, aside from what she'd learned when people at home had told stories about it, but she was sure she'd seen something about ruins of a castle on the map.
"Miss Governess, if I may," she started up with a clear voice, "are there not castle ruins somewhere near Semblance? And if the castle is the answer, what are the 'eyes of the keep'?"
She halted in her questions in order to give the Governess and the remaining people time to ponder, and turned around to look through the crowd. Would Allise really be here? [[Post bonus +1 point]] "...I've been waiting here patiently..." Seven watched from somewhere in the middle of the crowd while Orso, his friend, and the Governess worked to calm the townspeople and festival-goers. When the noise and panic had partially subsided, the Governess made a public attempt at deducing the meaning of the cryptic riddle. Her assumption that spirits were involved in the deed sounded odd; however, assuming she was right about a castle being involved, there was no doubt a group would be assembled to investigate the ruins not far from town.
The hand that had risen above the heads of the people and moved forward was accompanied by a voice that seemed familiar to her. If only she could see its owner, who had seemingly spoken Seven's very thoughts on the involvement of Semblance's ruins. "...Crossing my fingers and my 't's..."

DiDi listened in on the conversation. She had long suspected the ruins but wasn't going to jump the gun. Tilting her hat forward, she stood up and walked out of the tree's shade into the sunlight.((Points: 96 Hope this moves everything along, despite its shortness >> Mah Gawds we needs more posts! D=))
