Kanzuki gives a nod and a "Yes sir."

Kai did not move as the boy was thrown aside, nor when his friends went to help. He just stared at the beast, his breathing becoming heavy as a plan came to him. It may not be the best plan, but it was a plan. Kai set the two injured villagers he was carrying in a nearby alley, hoping they would have enough cover. Then he began walking slowly toward the Demon, his blood pounding in his ears. He pulled two kunai out of his holster, taking one in each hand as he picked up the pace.

I've got maybe one chance, one chance to distract this beast while Luo-sama takes care of it, Kai thought to himself, further picking up his pace so that he was moving at a brisk jog towards the demon. Well... here goes, and with that Kai moved at a dead sprint, pumping chakra into his legs to pick up the pace further. Once he was about ten feet from the Demon, Kai jumped up and plunged his kunai into it's leg. Then he began climbing up the beast's leg, pulling out the kunai and then stabbing them back, using them as hand-holds. With any luck he would make it up to the beasts back before being slung aside.

As Luo contemplated a retort to the demon, he shouted back to the demon finally, "We have made efforts for balance. We have planted more trees, raised more animals in protected forests, and given back to the earth as much as possible. I can assure you we..." As Luo was on his way to a sentence carefully crafted to halt the demon, he caught the boy in the corner of his eye attempting to climb the demon, followed by Fordon. He would have to make a move to protect them both if something went wrong, or follow up with an attack. They student left the kage with no other options.

Luo sighed heavily to himself. This wasn't going to be a good day for him, not at all. As it was not his style to simply attack blindly, he stood at the ready, refusing to reach for his blade unless he knew the action would not come back to haunt him. "Fine then, I guess I have no other choice than to defeat you, five-tails Gobi. You will pay for the destruction you have caused to my village, and the people of Kirigakure. Even demons must be punished for their transgressions." Luo's chakra output ramped-up to full force, dust particles halting mid-flight, the ground splintering slightly around the young man. He was now grinning, a battle he could finally give his full attention to.

As the demon turned its attention from the boy to his Lord, Fordon make his move. Releasing his cloak for extra speed Fordon took off. He and much less resistance now due to tight longsleeved shirt. the only thing that gave wind resistance now was his headband dangling from his belt. Fordon sprinted up to the leg of the massive beast and in one bound at halfway up to the Academy student. Still not been quite close enough Fordon had to use one of his assassin blades to continue his motion. To say that the pain from the lightning hurt like hell would most certainly be an understatement. Still for a push on through the pain. That one stab allowed him to continue all the way up to the boy. Fordon Grab the boys collar and pulled him off in one tug. They were falling fast heading for directing collision course with the ground. Fordon twisted and arched and turned the moment right before they reach the ground. The last second he rolled. Once again pain danced in Fordon's body, but the boy was safe. Still holding him by the collar Fordon dragged him back to the other students. "my word you guys may be brave but you ain't got brains. I want you all to be ready as soon the attack will begin. Follow the Lord Luo-sama's instructions to the letter or this demon will seem nice by comparison with ill do with your corpse." Then turned back to demon Fordon ready for battle.
