Sosay closed her eyes and took in all her surrounding sounds. "What's it feel like to have a family to love you all the time Ken?" she asked out of the blue.

| Gin'iro Clan | Ninjutsu | Kumogakure | Genin xxxxxxxxxxCraig opened the scroll to read its contents on the silver bud jutsu, laying the paper on his lap as his hands worked through the signs required to summon it into use. He had already practiced this part earlier in the training feild but that was before the Nibi attack and he needed to make sure it was still all there. He was a little slower than last time but he worked through it quickly, now concentrating more on chakra. The jutsu required him to channel chakra from his body - namely his hands - into the source of silver that would take on the jutsu. Perhaps the jutsu was a little too dangerous for an enclosed space... With that thought in mind, he got up from the window sill and got dressed before leaving for the training feild.

Ken looked over, a little surprised...then he remembered she didn't really have a family here.
"It..." he looked at the pond, trying to think. "It's hard to explain. It's a great feeling, always knowing you have people that always love you, no matter what you do, people who will always be there to help you and guide you..." he looked over at her, sighing a little.
"I'm sorry." he said softly, knowing that it was a little unfair to her.

Sosay smiled gently as she reopened her eyes to look ahead. "You don't have to be sorry. Even though my family isn't here with me doesn't mean I'm not loved anymore. I still have all the friends I've made here, like Aoi, Craig, even if he's a bit stuck up sometimes, Coren-sama and you!" she replied.

Ken looked over and smiled at her. "Yeah, I guess you're right." he said, looking forward again. She did have all of them as friends, people just like he described, except that they weren't related.

Sosay smiled gently to herself as she thought things over. She then sat up straight and sighed. The silence was different for a change.

Ken looked over at Sosay when she sighed. "What do you want to do now?" he asked quietly, not wanting to break the silence too much.

"I know." Ken said, laughed softly. "I just didn't want to sit here all day." he explained. He liked it in the garden, but after a while, he would usually get up to go do something.

"We don't have to go just this instant if you want to stay." Ken said, laughing. He patted the bench next to him, for her to sit back down. "We can talk a little longer if you want."

Sosay smiled softly and sat back down beside him. Staring ahead, she started to wonder if her mother was still alright. "Ken do you think I did the right thing getting as far away from my family so there safe? Because deep down I feel like it was a coward thing to do." she asked, placing a hand over her heart.

Ken looked over. "You did what you thought was right." he said. "If you truly believed that's what you had to do to protect them...then that's what the right thing is." he assured her.

Suou appeared next to Ken. "What do we have here?" Suou noticed the boy's headband. "I'm guessing that you're one of the Genin in this village." Suou's hat bore a strap that wrapped around his left eye and nobody could tell what was beneath, but his right eye was staring directly at Ken. Golden and menacing, it pierced directly into his soul, so to speak.
