Vincent felt that he had enough chakra control that he moved onto another Katon jutsu in the list.

"Katon: Shoumeidan no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flare Technique)" He read, "Description: By molding chakra into ones lungs properly, they are able to exhale a short burst of heat and flame which basically explodes from the mouth. The fire itself actually only lasts for about a second. But its effect is that it illuminates dark places, if only for but a few seconds."

He copied the hand seals and made sure that there was no one else in front of him. There was the understanding that when using fire one should expect to be burnt. Vincent felt that if something or someone was to be burnt it should be him and no one else. Making the hand seals he performed the Jutsu.

"Katon: Shoumeidan no Jutsu!" He cried out and then a short burst of fire exploded from his mouth as if her were a fire-breather at a carnival.

"Looks like we're on our way, huh, Zin?" Vincent asked.

"I've been wondering about that myself." Vincent said, "We should have gotten them by now."

(Question to the moderator here or to anyone else who may know is there a test or something that we have to do to get past the Academy?)

Haseo merely walked over to a wall and slumped his head. "Genin exam..." he stated simply, waiting to graduate from the academy. His head slumped down as he crossed his arms, not revealing a single aspect of him. The others would see him as a mere shadow, which suit him perfectly.

Hiniko tenced when the kunei hit vincents shoulder. But when he turned into a log she chuckled softly not one for loud noises. She sighed in releif and watched him and zin practise. She turned back to her own scroll and sighed looking at the next jutsu.

She seperated herself a good ways from the others not wanting to be interupted. She took a deep breath and centerd herself. She performed the nessicary hand sighns. Bear, tiger, bird, wolf. all but one being a land animal. She smiled and focused her chackra in her hands. "Doton: Gou no Doro (Earth Release: Mud Moat)!" she caled and placed her hands on the ground. The ground stired and seemed tro shift softly but it didn't have the effect she wanted.

She grew annoyed and confused. She didn't understand what was going on. Everyone else seemd to get theirs right so easily! She gritted her teeth and stood up straight. She focused her energy fueling it slightly with her almost void anger. "Bear, tiger, bird, wolf." she muttered. "Doton: Gou no Doro!" she yelled again and hit her hands to the ground. The land around her this time easily turned to mud underneath her. Atleast a good 4 feet around her. She gave a small grim smile. But this wasn't enough. She had to do it better.

She didn't even pause to listen to zin and vincent talk about the chunnin exams. She didn't stop to watch the newcomer who obviously wasn't an acedmy student. She glanced at Haseo but didn't stop in trying this jutsu again. She performed the handsighns puting chakra into her hands again. "Doton: Gou no Doro!" She toutched the ground, and having moved slightly over, the area around her again was coverd with more mud and mixing with the outher to look like a bigger mud. She smiled feeling only semi tired. She was happy she got this done.

Hiniko looked up at the sound of vincent calling her. She looked curiouse. "Yes?" she called back wondering what it was. Had she done something wrong?

(i gtg in about 10 mins..b back on in about 2 hours)

"Uhmmm well I only have one more to learn now" she said rubbing the back of her head. She made her way to her scroll looking at wich one it was. "Congradulations on learning yours though" she smiled.
