Lucus returned her tight hug, glad that she liked his gift. Yes it was true, between dealing with Devri and Lance, Lucus almsot didn't even have time to go and buy the gift itself. Holding up the box he'd recived from Vemp's brother her examined both boxes at the same time, the red and the green. It made him chuckle, "You two are very festive in colour selection, you know? Thank you both." Setting the gifts down on a small table that was infront of the fireplace he began to untie the black ribbon that was on the red package from Vemp.
Sturring slightly in Kain's arms she gave him a quik kiss, "As much as I'm in no mood to move, it'd probably be best to go back to tell Lucus as soon as possible before he does decide to call me for somthing."

Anxiously, Vempyremon waited for Lucus to unwrap both presents, not even sure what to make of the gift itself. It was almost confusing in a way...and Lucus didnt even know what it was yet. Many times, as well, has she heard that Aristocramon and herself were naturally Christmas-colored. Unintentionally, of course. Golden, green and red and black were their favorite colors. They even had a friend from far away who was with blue armor and his favorite color is silver. Quite an odd match.
As Akita thought that, he no longer wanted to stay in such vacant, empty house. He had to move; Kain would never stay in one place for so long. Of course, if he ever found a place to settle, maybe he would. Kain quickly pulled himself over Akita and gave her a seemingly meaningful kiss on her flat stomach. "Ist for gut luck." With that, Kain rolled off the bed and got back onto his feet, helping Akita up so she wouldnt have to struggle to get up.

Opening the red package finally Lucus peered inside wondering what kind of gift needed, or could be delivered in two halves. "So, you've each got a half of something for me.." Nobody had really givin him gifts since he was a young child, Akita never gave him anything, she always just told him her gift was that she stuck around. Ooy didn't really believe in christmas and Ca-Talia would just give him little trinkets and charms that he'd always just end up losing accidentally and end up having to try to explain to her that it wasn't on purpose.
Akita, since giving herself to serve Lucus, had givin up her home as well. In leaving Lucus service she would thus be giving up her home once again. Feeling the kiss on her stomach Akita smiled, "Let us hope your kisses and the beautiful snow are a great sign of luck then." Getting to her feet with help from Kain she gave a quick stretch, "Will you acompany me back to Lucus' manor Kain? I have to pick up some clothing and such while we're there."

"Of course we do!" Ever since childhood, Vempyremon and Aristocramon had given each other presents back and forth, and each of their presents would match up somehow coincidentally. They thought of the nice idea to do the same for Lucus. Opening the package; there's what seems to be half of a silver medallion on the inside. It seems like a thin container of some sort with the inside hollow, but the inside wont open at all. Down the middle where the medallion-like object is half is jagged like a puzzle piece. Excitedly, Vempyremon hops. "Eee! Open the other~"
Not really expecting to be asked to head back to the manor with her, it takes a while for Kain to even decide what to do. It wasnt that hard of a decision, but what with all the arguing going on between the two siblings anyway. From what Akita told him about all the happenings since he's been gone and even being around to hear about Lance's monstrous explosion. But...if anything, he just wanted to be around Akita right now. Without saying anything, all Kain had to do was nod and agree to go back to the manor with her.

Lucus smiled at Vemp and gave her a warm thank you as he examined the silver medallion. Setting it back in the box carefully he set the box back on the table and picked up the green package. Slipping it's ribbon off he opened that box and peered inside wondering what the other half of such a medallion could be. The puzzle like feature of it seemed to intrigue him and keep him curious.
Akita smiled at Kain's nodding response. Hopefully the manor would be quiet for awhile once they were there, it would save them from leaving with a headache but.. in a place like that as of late that is asking a lot. Quickly gathering her belongings Akita fixed her hair and got herself ready. Putting a hand on her stomach a different smile, one that was almost motherly replaced her docile look, "If this does happen.. This will be my first litter.. It makes me quite happy yet.. so nervous at the same time."

Inside the other package was the other half of the container-like medallion, but this half was colored gold. Both medallions had a strange marking on them. It wasnt meaningful enough just to stare at, so Vempyremon took the one half that was put back in the box to take hold of the other with her hand on Lucus's to put the small object together. From there, there was a small 'click' noise like a key going into a slot. The design from both halves form a bat shape, and from the bottom, Vempyremon seems to press a small button that forces the lid of the medallion thing open. On the inside was a ring, colored a faded multicolored color in the middle of where the two halves were brought together. One would think that the ring was two halves itself, but indeed, it was a whole. Thrilled to see it work herself, Vempyremon squees again. "Magic! It's a mood ring, and I'm really sure this one really works. On certain occasions, it'll glow. But now, Lance and Devri will know when to shut up because they'll now that you're angry."
Taking Akita by the shoulders from the side of her, Kain only gently rests his head on one shoulder and gives her his usual blank look that doesnt really mean anything in particular. "As I said. Dont expect too much of me." Though, saying that made him grin almost mischeviously. It was a bit exciting. Before both of them got wrapped up in thinking about it, Kain pushed and dragged Akita out of the rented home to the outside so she could tell Lucus of the good/bad news.

Lucus took the ring and examined it, "How unique. I've never really understood how a mood ring works but I guess this is my chance to know." Lucus couldn't help but laugh, "Maybe it'll even help me know my mood when I'm unsure of it myself!" He gave Vemp a tight hug, he had to admit it was the most unique gift he'd ever received. It even topped anything from his own parents when he was young, those had always just been typical things to give to children. This however, seemed to be an entire class of it's own. "Than you very much Vempyremon."
Akita giggled at Kain as she caught his grin. Slipping her coat on Akita allowed herself to be dragged out by Kain, they had to get going sooner or later. She grinned and gave a deep exhale, eying the cloud of smoke it make in the cold air. "I must say, after seeing that beautiful work done in ice by you, winter has an entire new beauty. As darn cold as it is!" She trotted along, making her way towards Lucus' manor, her eyes looking around taking in what was around her. "The cold doesn't bother you much I assume." She peeked at Kain.

Kain continued to push Akita towards the manor. His own playful way of 'accompanying' her. Even if Akita stood still and fought against his pushing, his muscles wouldnt allow her to win. "Ja. I love zhe cold. I've spent most of my time playing in snow vhenever it vas snowy. Iz not zhat cold..." And just assuming so would be correct; Kain doesnt like anything hot. Although his fur looks about as normal as any other Noct, it actually has several layers underneath to keep him from feeling much of it, as if he just adapted that way. Though, even on the skin parts, extreme cold felt like a nice day to him. "...It must be all zhe muscle. Zhough, mein brüder is zhe opposite. He loves zhe hot, humid days and cant tolerate cold." Though, Kain would rather not get into talk about his brother...because he still doesnt like him.

Despite the point she knew she couldn't hold off Kain she still tried and got a bit of a kick out of it anyways. Having a mate as strong as he was like a goft of it's own. "I figured it didn't bother you much since you were out in the cold for so long and.. man when you hugged me out there, you were like a heat source of your own!" Swinging open the gate at the bottom of the large and long stairway that led up the hill to Lucus' manor Akita trotted through the snow towards the stairs. "I don't really mind the cold all that much.. I mean I'm pretty average but I still get a chill here and there. Like last night." She knew herself though that part of the reason she almost froze half to death last night was because she didn't leave properly prepared but, she didn't really expect to be out in the middle of nowhere. Giving a small flutter of her wings she began making her way up the huge stairway.

The huge stairway was tempting enough for Kain to start to run up it. Back and forth. It'd surely be some good exercise, but surely, he didnt want to leave Akita there. Instead, he just waited for her from behind to move up several steps before he followed, and made sure that he was at least a few steps behind. "Sure. You vere freezing." In a way, it was depressing to know that the snow wouldnt stay there forever. It was enjoyable weather to him...as the rumor runs around when Kain ran around in the snow naked all thanks to Vempyremon, only half of that was true. With Akita walking faster than he was while he was observing the snow and occasional ice, Kain stopped for a second or two before running up the rest of the steps passed Akita, his boots with small spikes on the bottoms of them had and easy grip on the ice if there was any on the steps. He was practically built for winter.

"Ahah.. Yes I was. Thank you again for lending me your coat though," Eventually reaching the top of the stairs she stood for a moment and looked down. Most noct would fly these steps. She was the unusual one who was forced to walk them. There had been times before when she would be so very temped to jump and try to fly just to see if she could. But with one and less than half a wing, there was no way it would be possibly and would surely have been a signed death wish if she tried.

"Akita!" Lucus spun around and grinned to see her having finally returned, even if he knew she was only going to leave again. "Are you alright? Did he hurt you? Are you staying? If not where will you go? Do you need help moving you thing?" He seemed to be full of countless questions at the moment. Akita just shook her head at him and tried to get him to calm himself, "Akita! You have to promise to at least come and cook us dinner once a month, please please!"
She couldn't help but laugh at his childlike pleading, "Now now Lucus! It's been one night!"

"Eep!" And with that, Vempyremon escaped behind Lucus, but it wasnt enough. Luckily, there was another spot for her to hide, where she did eventually hide to stay out of sight. It was because of Kain being currently in their presence; she thought that he'd still be the same and didnt want to make it worse for the both of them. Or all of them. Just in case.
Kain took notice of Vempyremon, of course it wasnt hard to, but he didnt seem to bother as he stood behind Akita like a looming body guard, easily making her look like a dwarf with his size. He didnt say anything to anyone in the room, though, and just kept to himself to avoid Lucus suddenly starting something with him. Assuming that he still hated him for his wanting-to-be-dominant behavior against him. The thought still crossed his mind and he seemingly grinned to himself.

Akita caught Vemp running off to hide and made a slightly shocked face but laughed softly, "Miss Vempyremon, it's alright!" Akita smiled and blushed before she could even finish her words all at once, "Kain and I.. I am Kain's mate now. And who knows.." She blushed even redder and wnet silent for a moment.
"Who knows..?" Lucus looked back and forth between Akita and Kain, "You trying to say you slept with this beast?" Lucus had a feeling his words were like asking for an a** kicking from the much bigger male but he couldn't help it. "He didn't hurt you did he?" Akita blushed feverishly and shook her head at Lucus' comment. "Man.." An arm went up as he rubbed the back of his neck, "I suppose you really are here to tell me that you'll be leaving for sure.. Just.. please don't hesitate to come back and visit alright? Go on and get your things.. I won't get in your way. Like you said, your mate will need you more than I will."
Akita, still blushing gave Lucus a warm smile, "Thank you."

Kain growled deeply at Lucus's previous remark; a growl that almost did sound like it came from a beast of some sort. Still, he didnt say anything to Lucus and let him and Akita talk it out with each other while he just looked around to pass the time. He didnt seem too enthralled with anything there.
Even though Akita says that to be true, Vempyremon doesnt dare come out of her hiding spot, for she knew Kain longer than any of them and had to practically grow up living under his wing until he decided to turn and hunt her down like a love-struck wolf. Just Kain being there made Vempyremon feel awfully awkward, remembering how much she actually spent time with him when growing up. It was a big change, and Vempyremon didnt like change. Quickly, ran up from her poor hiding spot and hugged Kain. She still saw him so much as a fatherly figure. Dare she say 'friend' too? "I'm sorry! I'll get you a Christmas present! A late one. It'll be late. Please dont lose contact with me!" It seemed like Vempyremon was acting the opposite of what she had been when she wanted to avoid Kain especially now that she's teared up.

Akita and Lucus both turned their attention to Vemp when she ran out of her hiding place to hug Kain. Akita smiled at the sight, it was different to see her affectionate towards him rather than trying to get away. "Ah, Miss Vempyremon.. We won't stay away, I promise." A hand went up onto her stomach, her gaze moving to watch her hand even if it was her own, "Especially if we do conceive.. You've already gone though this one. Your council would be a great help to me."
Lucus, didn't try to stop Vemp. The towering male had become somewhat less of a threat since he heard that he and Akita were together. He'd taken it as a reason to feel more lax about him being near Vempyremon.
