Hitachi blinked as Keshet began to laugh and frowned at him.
"Oy, what did I say?" He said to the laughing anthro, watching as he nearly fell out of his seat. He listened to Keshet's explanation and started to laugh as well because it had been a horrible screw up on his part. He managed to get himself under control as Auntie May returned with the food. "That makes a lot more sense eh?" He glanced down at the food before him and instantly knew this was going to be the best dinner ever. He picked up his fork and took a small piece of beef and popped it in his mouth. Oh my god.... He smiled cheerily up at Auntie May. "Amazing..."
He glanced at Keshet's dish and eyed it curiously, already beginning to plot on how to steal a bite.

"Yeah it makes a lot more sense." Keshet replied wiping a tear from his eye. He looked down at his food and grinned up at Auntie May. "Looks great!" He said before picking up his fork. He took a bite and loved it. It was so good!.... so....so spicy! His mouth was on fire! He grabbed his lemonade and took a big drink, not that it helped. "Oh. my. god! It's so hot! But good! My mouth!" He gasped waving a paw in front of his open mouth.
Auntie May smiled at Hitachi and chuckled at Keshet. "Glad you boys like it. I'll go get you something to cool that mouth of yours dear." She said heading to the kitchen once again.

Hitachi chuckled at Keshet's antics after tasting his food and Hitachi decided to stick with his own meal. He cut up the rest of the slab of beef and popped a large piece in his mouth, savoring its taste. He set his fork down and began to sip leisurely at his tea while he watched Keshet struggling with the spiciness of his meal.
"Such a baby..." He teased. "It can't be that 'ot."

Keshet glared at Hitachi and stabbed a piece of his meal. "Here why don't you try it and let me know if it's hot or not." He said holding his fork out to Hitachi.
Auntie May came out with some celery and blue cheese dressing. "This should help." She said chuckling at the two males. She turned and left them to their meals.

Hitachi eyed the food on his fork and then glanced up at Keshet. It couldn't be that bad... He closed his eyes and braced himself as he leaned forward and bite down on the food on the fork. He sat back slowly, chewing on it. It was really, really good! He continued chewing and was about to comment that it wasn't hot at all when it hit him.
"Bloody 'ell!" He hissed, quickly scooping up some of his mashed potatoes and shoving them in his mouth. "That woman's bloody brilliant but why did she sprinkle the food with lava?!" He managed to say after he swallowed the potatoes. Not wanting to ruin his tea, he shrugged and reached across the table for Keshet's lemonade.

Keshet was munching on a piece of celery as he watched Hitachi take the bite. He grinned seeing how Hitachi thought it was nothing and then hissed as the spice hit him. "It can't be that hot." He taunted shaking his head, "And it's not lava.... its just a good combo of spices." He didn't say anything as Hitachi went for his lemonade. Instead he took another bite.

Hitachi dragged the glass of lemonade over to him and took a large gulp before setting it back on the table. Glad that the burning had began to go away, he sighed and shook his head.
"Good combo of spices 'e says..." Hitachi taunted in return with a shake of his head. "That woman's a bloody genius but whoa..." He finished, looking down at the glass before sliding it back over to Keshet and returning to his tea. "You know what would be really good to 'ave after this? An ice cream sundae...."

Keshet was currently woofing down his food, trying to cut back on the burn time in his mouth. He stopped for a moment to chug some lemonade down and bite into a celery stick. "Yeah she is a really good cook." He said laughing, "You don't know what you're asking for there buddy. She takes her sundaes all the way.... usually takes at least two people to eat them." He turned back to his food and only paused to finish off his drink.

Hitachi continued to work on his food and nodded in agreement when Keshet mentioned her being a really good cook. He glanced up every now and then to watch him scarf down the hot food and chug down his lemonade and he would laugh each time he looked up. How he was handling eating the food Hitachi had no idea. Finishing off his potatoes and working on the rest of the beef, Hitachi grew extremely at the prospect of eating a sundae especially if she went all out with it.
"Are you forgetting that there are two of us?" Hitachi pointed his fork at himself and then at Keshet. "We could 'andle it... couldn't we?"

Keshet was waving to Auntie May for a refill on his lemonade when he heard Hitachi. He looked at him with his mouth open causing food to fall out. "You don't mind sharing with me?! I mean that's something only really really close people do with each other." He said. He was always under the impression that sharing food, especially one dish, was something only couples did. He looked up at Auntie May as she dropped off his lemonade. "Thanks." He took a drink before taking a bite of celery with some dressing.
"Here you go hon." Auntie May said giving Keshet some more lemonade, "Is there anything else I can get you boys?"

Hitachi tapped his fork on the table as he pondered over his words. Did he mind sharing with Keshet?
"We're 'ell of a lot closer than we were before..." He said slowly. "I don't mind; I don't mind at all so long as you don't drool in the ice cream."
Hitachi looked up at Auntie May and nodded. "Uh, yes I think..." He paused and looked at Keshet, unsure of whether he wanted to or not. "Do you want to share with me?"

It was Keshet's turn to ponder. They certainly were acting closer than before. Before Hitachi would run from the sight of him. "I won't drool." He said nodding, "I'll share." He finished off his food and began munching on the celery to help cool the fire in his mouth.

Hitachi waited patiently for Keshet's answer and flashed him an excited and pleased smile.
"I'm glad to 'ear that or I'd 'ave to kill you for ruinin' good food." He whipped his head in Auntie May's direction and nodded like a small child in a toy store about to get their favorite toy. "We would like to order one of your amazing sundaes!" He said with a nod. He glanced at Keshet munching on a celery stick out of the corner of his eye and he shook his head. "You look like a bloody bunny."

Keshet rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah. Sure you would." He said kicking back, "I'd hope I don't look like a bloody bunny..... maybe the Trix rabbit." He chuckled at his little joke.
Auntie May smiled. "Alright one sundae coming up. It'll be a while though." She said before heading off to the kitchen.

"Thanks love!" He said cheerfully to her. He lifted his tea to take a sip and gave a snort at Keshet's comment. Corny sense of humor...
"Why in the world would you want to be the trix rabbit?" He set his tea cup down and tilted his head. "Do you enjoy stealing cereal from poor, defenseless children?"
