Lauss gave her a stern look before deciding it was best to skip the talking -- that was getting him in trouble lately, anyway -- and just lifted the girl, the little muscles he had able to kidnap her back to the Grady house, holding her like a little doll the entire way. He didn't care if he got into trouble from this, he got in trouble for everything he did. "I'd like for you and Mister Kelly to have kissing practice when he awakens. It might help him feel better," he told Kendra right before they walked into the house, setting her down and backing away, gesturing to the sleeping boy.

Ellandra stepped into the living room and knelt next to Faolan, taking in the sleeping Kelly and Rhian with a worried frown on her face. "What happened?" She asked in a low voice, then clarified, "Why is Rhian passed out? Is Kelly doing better?"

"Rhian used her abilities t' help Kelly sleep. Poor guy's exhausted," Faolan said then looked down at Rhian. "She wore herself out."
Outside, Anson raised a brow as Lauss appeared with his daughter. "Um, Lauss..." He sighed and thought better of it, patting the boy on the head as Kendra went in and looked at Kelly.
"Is he gonna be okay?" she asked quietly from the doorway.

At least Lauss had stolen a child and brought it to her father. He'd completed his next task, watching both the sleeping Kelly and Kendra. What now? To be honest, he felt like taking a nap like the others. Looking down to Kendra once more, Lauss didn't know what the answer was to that. "Ziazan believes he will, yes."

Ellandra fell silent then, nodding a little and just watching the Essentic and the boy - the two children - sleep. After a few minutes, however, she got to her feet and headed to the nursery to take care of the twins. She had the feeling they'd be waking up soon, and the last thing Kelly or Rhian needed right now wazs to be woken up by the wailing of an infant.

Zia passed Elle on the stairs, smiling at her as it headed down. Standing behind Lauss, it took the other's hand, whispering. "Come on, you can come lay down in my room for a bit."
Kendra went over to sit on the floor on the other side of Fao, leaning against him to wait for Kelly to wake up.

Lauss nodded to Ziazan, though kept his focus on little Kendra, wanting to see if she would be of any help. Wake up, Kelly! Sighing quietly to himself, he'd wait it out in Ziazan's room, like the other essentic had offered. He would have prefered to sleep with Rhian, but that wasn't exactly possible. It was against the rules, too, wasn't it? No use in getting her in further trouble. He followed the other alter upstairs, not knowing which room was whose.

Zia showed Lauss to its room. "You'll be comfortable here. I bet you're kinda tired, too, after all that, right?"
Kelly stirred a bit in his sleep, rolling over, a small hand smacking Fao in the shoulder. Faolan smiled a bit and looked up at the boy. After a moment, the child's brow furrowed and his eyes fluttered open. He was aware he wasn't home, but didn't know where he was now. Tilting his head slightly, he saw Faolan looking back at him. "What happened?"
"Your mother decided you should come live with me," Faolan answered softly.

Lauss nodded, sitting down on the bed. "Mostly from gardening earlier, though, actually," he admitted, not knowing that he was making the situation at hand seem less important. Normally he had a book in his hands to close before he went to bed. This felt weird. Just... sleeping. "Where will you sleep, Ziazan?" He blinked back at the other, propping his head up a bit with a pillow to look at the alter.

"I'm going to help Mama in the nursery. You get some rest. I'll ask if you can have dinner with us," Zia said, patting Lauss' head. "You can borrow some of my books to read if it'll help."

Ellandra was in the nursery, feeding Bel with a blanket thrown over her shoulder for modesty. The little girl had been on the verge of crying when her Mama had returned, while Sam had either been asleep still or listening with his eyes closed. Either way, the little boy was being less fussy than his sister, and thus the little girl got to eat first. The brunette mother of twins and two Essentics - and now, it seemed, stepmother to another little boy - hummed softly under her breath, contemplating the adjustments everyone was going to need to make now. This wouldn't be an easy adjustment, she suspected. . . but then, it might be easier than she thought. "Well, little ones, it turns out you have an older brother. . . ."

Lauss smiled a bit, searching for these books Ziazan had mentioned. Picking the closest one up and finding that it was a text book -- his favorite! -- he cracked it open, starting to read from the first chapter, even though he'd already read this a dozen times over at home with his own book. Reading and studying actually seemed to wake him up, the opposite of what he'd been aiming for. Oh well, he was enjoying himself again, and that's what mattered.

Zia hovered in the doorway of the nursery, watching Elle and her daughter a moment. "How're you taking this all, Mama?" It walked in to peer down at Sam, smiling at its little brother. "Guess you have two little Faos in the family now."

Ellandra looked up from Bel and smiled at Zia, though her gaze still showed her concern. "I'm mostly just worried about how Kelly's doing," she said quietly. "But. . . . I can't help but worry that he'll be unhappy here. . .. I barely know how to parent the babies, Ziazan, let alone a traumatized little boy. . . ."
Rhian stirred awake in Faolan's grasp again, and blinked, looking around with still weary eyes. "Mm.......... izzit bedtime, Faolan?"

"If Kelly's anything like his father, you should be alright," Zia chuckled, looking back at Elle. "You're a good parent. Kelly might not be as traumatized by all this as everyone thinks. He's shocked, but also really relieved. He knows who he really is now and where he belongs. I don't think that's a traumatic thing."
Faolan looked down at Rhian. "Nae, darlin'. You're just sleepy is all."
"You got pink hair," Kelly said, moving to look at Rhian.
