Jesse was the last to eat. He made quick work of his meal, went and cleaned up and then decided to join the others as they talked amongst themselves about the things to come.

His mind was still torn between the events that took place not long ago, and those that took place weeks ago. But for the here and now, those things would have to wait.

With the others training, mainly Clarissa and Saieve, he found a spot next to a heavy bag where he took a seat to see how this would end. He thought that it would be a good thing for him to train some as well, but he left it for the moment, waiting and watching.

"Well, I suppose that's up to you, we can free-for-all or you can both fight me at once if you'd like, I would probably not hold back in that case and it'd be fun, if you ask me."

Helena only offered another shrug and looked at Clarissa. "Well, what do you think? I'm willing if you are." In all honesty, Helena was ready for another fight. The meal and shower left her feeling reinvigorated and more than prepared for another conflict.

Clarissa merely offered a weak smile. "I'm fine with whatever fighting we do." She held her arms up like Saieve showed her, but a thought hit her. "Will we be fighting with our powers or no powers?" If they fought with their powers, they'd be likelier to hurt someone. However, it would be better in the sense that they weren't likely to fight without using their powers.

Saieve thought for a moment, "Well...I would think we should practice without our powers, first, you never know when something like that will come up. Then we'll spend some time incorporating our powers into our fighting. Sound good?"

Clarissa nodded at Saieve's words. It would be a good idea to practice without powers. "Umm," she looked at Helena, "Actually, would you mind too terribly if Saieve and I just spar first? I want to try it on my own before we work together, that is if you don't mind..." Helena nodded, which made Clarissa smile. "Thank you, Helena."

"Um, shall we start?" Saieve seemed okay with that, so she started at him with an uppercut to his stomach.

Saieve deftly stepped forward and to the left to evade the attack. He turned and placed his left palm against the back of Clarissa's head to give a little push to send her off balance.

"You've gotta think before you charge, if you're opponent's already waiting for you, they can easily counter you."

Clarissa fumbled, but instead of walking away from the fumble, she swirled so she maintained balance and backhanded him. "I'll take that into consideration."

Saieve took the hit rather than block it and wrapped his arm around the top of Clarissa's arm and then underneath it. He held her arm, not painfully, but it could quickly get there if Saieve were mean.

"We're gonna learn about holds and grapples, next." he told her with a grin.

Clarissa hated being in this position - didn't she get disarmed like this from Fin? Can't panic, can't panic, can't panic. She tried to remember to keep her mind clear as she was temporarily stuck. Almost without thinking, she stomped on his foot. Hard. That didn't get him to let her go, but immediately following that she used her free arm to elbow him in the stomach. "You brothers are alike - what is it with that hold?" She had a tiny grin on her face as she said that.

Saieve grunted when his foot was stomped on, but didn't release his hold. He did, however, untangle their arms when she sent an elbow for his gut.
He tightened his abs and leaned into the strike.
Because of their height-difference, Saieve had almost full access to her back.

Pressure points or joint manipulation? he quickly thought before flipping a mental coin.

He reached around her back and grabbed her left forearm and brought it around to her back and lifted. Not too sharply, but enough to cause some pain and cause her to turn her back to Saieve instinctively.

Saieve brought his other arm up under her free arm and gripped her opposite shoulder.

Clarissa struggled a little, but it was only half-heartedly. "I give," she muttered, becoming slack in his arms. He did let go of her, and once out of his grip, she rolled her arms. She'd hoped to do a better job of fighting than that. "So how do I get out of that kind of hold?"

Saieve thought for a moment before answering, "Well," he said, "That's actually a pretty tricky one to get out of if you can't overpower the opponent, you could kick them in the shins considering they don't dislocate your shoulder first, but other than that, unless you can pull on of your arms free (preferably the one being held behind your back), or you have someone backing you up, you'd have to hope they screw up.

Oh! Actually, if you brought your raised arm down just right and hard enough (it would be best to continue to apply pressure) you could hit one of their pressure points and cause them to release you."

Clarissa nodded in understanding. "Okay," she muttered. She put her hands back up in a fighting stance, ready to fight. However, she didn't charge - she'd wait for him to start. "Shall we go again?"

Saieve resumed his stance and nodded, "Let's go." he said. He waited for a few seconds, waiting for Clarissa to make a move. When she showed no sign of going first, Saieve took the liberty and threw a right straight for her head. It wasn't particularly strong or fast, just giving her something to practice blocking.
