American through and through, meaning I have a little bit of everything, lol. English, French, German, Irish, Welsh, some kind of Native American...Cherokee, I think...and a little bit of a lot more stuff that I can never remember. Either way, I hit the genetic lottery with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a metabolism that doesn't quit.

Artemis Taylor Yeah, I figured as much, thanks. The orchestra at one of my friend's schools is taking a trip to Scotland this spring. Anything there you'd recommend seeing? She asked me, but since I've never been, it makes it kinda hard to answer, lol.
Um, there are some awesome old churches and there are a lot of very old buildings. Other wise there are some ghost tours at night, which we didn't get to go on so I don't know about them (in Edinburgh for sure). There's a lot to see and we didn't get to see as much as we would've wanted. If she likes hiking there are plenty of places from that too (Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh is a nice climb/hike- which is an extinct volcano actually). The castle in edinburgh... I didn't think it was worth the 20 pounds we paid, but the others kinda liked it (i think...).
@ Jack: 1/3 Irish, some Dutch & Scottish, and the rest I don't remember. Blond with a little red & white mixed in, blue eyes and pale (burn very easily- outside 30mins and burned).

nationality or ethnicity? nationality is american, ethnicity is what we of the pittsburgh area refer to as Heinz 57. wink i'm immigrant-native american, mostly polish and slovak, with cherokee, lakota, sioux, german, and just enough greek to allow me a valid reason for my love of feta cheese, black olives, hummus, and baklava. heart
mmmmm, sticky gooey nutty pastry of joy, oh how you taunt me.... *shifty eyes* i think i need to go bake something now.... stare

For the first hour in the sun there'll be absolutely no change in my skin tone or temperature, then suddenly I'll be bright red. I have the weirdest sunburns, though, because in less than a week I'll go from tomato red directly to tan.

I go straight from red, peel, back to white. I use to get sun poisoning so easy as kid, now as a result I get heat stroke easily. Or if I'm outside in the sun I get sleepy. I prefer being noturnal too, I don't have to worry about going blind lol.

That might be interesting to check out. I've got a fair stockpile of OC's, so drop me a line if you follow through with that.

Same here, and I'm light sensitive too so I have to wear sunglasses during daytime, even when it's cloudy sometimes.

I broke my awsome shades. They were like super dark and huge. I looked like a bug or a bad drag version of Paris Hilton lmao.

I think my sister has a pair of those glasses too, lol. Mine are pretty basic, I'm picky over size and shape and whether they warp things when you wear them.

I've had the same pair of sunglasses for the past three years, which is awesome, since they're by far my favorite pair, too. The best part is, they were free xd
