Aidan watched as the other regular ran out the door, waving to them as they left. Azzura had a roomie, that was good to know. He just relaxed on the couch and answered her questions.
"I didn't even notice until I tried to stand on it. Forgot completely where I was. I think it was the meds that you gave me last night."
He gave a chuckle.
It wasn't long until there was a knock on the door. And without a pause, Oni opened the door. There wasn't a happy look on her face, and she had the baby in her arms and handed the little thing to Azzura.
"You stupid boy, what did you do to yourself now?"
Oni growled it out and stormed on over to the twinnie as he sheepishly grinned at her. She bent down and put her hands on his leg. Gently of course. To see what he had done.

Azzurra was a little startled as Oni dumped the baby on her, but she quickly shifted the little one to a better position, where she could comfortably hold her but also keep an eye on Oni and Aidan. "We were attacked last night on the way through the woods... I didn't really see the fae that attacked us, Aidan held him off so I could escape," she explained before Oni could lay too much blame on the twinnie.

"Something with a good set of claws."
Her voice hadn't changed, even as she looked at it, then pulled some things from a package she had carried with her. The purple fae pulled out a needle and such, quickly getting ready to stitch the wound together.
"I'm upset because I've taught him better. Hyde has taught you better. You know how to fight boy."
He rolled his eyes at his lecture. Truth be told the uncle figure had taught him how to hold his own. However, he had been worried about Azzura. And everything had just left his mind.
"I'll try to remember next time mom. Azzura, if you're queasy, I'd suggest going in the other room."
His voice took a soft tone when he spoke to the female holding the baby. The tall fae wasn't teasing her, instead he was trying to help out somehow. Despite feeling helpless.

The young fae did look uncomfortable... but then, she was pointedly not looking directly at what Oni was doing. "I can stay, if you'd like," she said quietly, walking over to perch on the couch beside him. She set the baby on her lap and offered him her paw, keeping her eyes on his face, which was sufficiently far from Oni's work that she could mostly ignore it.

It was an odd feeling, that far surpassed the pain in his leg. The moment his paw held hers, he felt warmth. It felt right. And that's when Aidan knew. He wanted to protect Azzura, wanted to be around her all the time. Needed to. He loved her. He didn't say anything, not at the moment. He'd need a bit to gather all his thoughts together.
Nothing got past Oni however. She wasn't a stranger to all of this, and knew exactly what was going on. It pleased her really, to know that both of them had found someone good in each other. She finished sewing up his leg and stood. Taking the baby without another word, and moving herself to the kitchen. They would need some time alone at this point.
"Thank you Azzura."
He lifted her paw and placed a kiss on the back of her hand. Steady and slow Aidan, steady and slow.

She smiled. "You're welcome."
And then he kissed her paw, and she felt her heart skip a beat.
She blushed bright red, too shocked to do much of anything. Unlike Aidan, she hadn't worked out yet what her feelings were telling her, or even really considered it yet.

"I know that I saw him somewhere over here the other day..."
Dymphna was lying in a tree a few days ago, bathing in the sun, when she saw the very fae who helped her with her fear of heights. She was still rather new at this climbing thins, however, so by the time she got down, he was no where in sight.
Now, before her stood a door, and she assumed that behind that door would be Aiden. Her heart fluttered a bit, and she was blushing already... remembering things: really really good blush-inducing things.
With a deep breath, she knocked.

((Would you mind posting Dymphna's cert? I like having them, helps me see the character. ^^))
Azzurra glanced up as she heard a knock on the door. She had no clue who that could be... She glanced back down at Aidan. She had no clue what to do next with him, and this gave her an excuse to withdraw, if only to buy time to think. She squeezed his hand and then withdrew hers. "I need to get that..."
In moments she was at the door and had opened it.

Aidan sat on the couch, relaxing. He was a little oblivious to it all, as in who was at the door. Instead he was lost in his thoughts, leaning back on the couch. There were just way too many thoughts in his mind.

Dymphna was caught off guard by the girl in front of her. "Hi there... I don't know if you can help me or not, but I was just looking for an old friend of mine. I saw him around here not too long ago. His name is Aidan" She was smiling brightly, hoping that this fae knew him.

"Oh!" Azzurra stepped to the side, showing the bandaged Aidan on the couch. "Yes, he's here... He was injured last night, walking me home, so he shouldn't get up. But you're welcome to come in."

Aidan heard another voice, female in gender. Or a very high pitched male. His eyes were half closed, but one eyebrow raised anyways. Who exactly was asking for him?
"Azzura, what's going on? Who's here?"
He leaned forward, trying to lean far enough to see what was going on exactly.

Dymphna gasped. "Injured? How did you let this happen?!" As she heard his voice coming from the other room, she ran through the door and kneeled by his side. She picked up his hand and held it tightly.
"Aidan... Aidan it's me, Dymphna! It's been so long.... what happened here?"
She was panicked, and the worry could be seen on her face.

Azzurra followed, flustered, and felt suddenly very nervous as Dymphna knelt beside Aidan and took his hand. She seemed very familiar with him... but then, why should the blue female care. She shook her head quickly. "He'll be fine... Someone jumped us as we were walking home, and Aidan fought him off."

Oh, her! The girl he helped with her tree fear. Or rather, her fear of heights. They had met once; it had been rather nice. He was startled though with her sudden random appearance.
"Oh! Hello there, um... yeah, I got roughed up a bit."
And she was holding his hand. Much like he had been holding Azzura's before. He blinked several times; unsure of what to do or how to react. Instead he glanced at Azzura, looking for some sort of reaction. But there was none, which stung more than it should.
