"You might want to wait until we reach the system," Radomir advised. "It'll take a while before we get back, so you can make yourself comfortable in one of the guest rooms if you'd like."

"Thank you sir." Brike said with due politeness. She excused herself and made her way down to the guest rooms, turning her head this way and that to admire more of the ship's make. Opening a door she found herself in a lavishly decorated room, complete with a separate powder room and comfortable looking bed.

Slightly taken aback, Brike recalled her simple quarters at the Jedi Temple fondly. She allowed herself a small smile as she closed the door to her room. A change like this was welcome every once and a while.

“Damn it Mom.” Niomie muttered to herself from her hover board as she spies several of her fathers hired security guards closing in on her from several direction, two of who would intercept her well before she reached the perimeter wall She angled for the one on the left and barreled straight at him, crouching down to gather speed.

--------------------------------------------------

“And what makes you think I want my baby girl to go pirating along the space-ways doing who knows what? Have you any idea of how it would affect her future if she was caught by the authorities, or worse. What if she was hurt or…or killed in one of your childish raids!” She spoke quickly, taking a long breath and sighing heavly. “She has become quite a handful Jag,” Saras voice took on a different tone, one of a proud Mother as she spoke softly about the one thing in the galaxy that was important to her. “She truly is your daughter.”

Jag waited until her tirade had finished, staring straight at the gate eye.
"She needs this, Sara. She needs to come with me and find out who she is. I won't have our daughter living without a soul."

“Oh she has plenty of spirit Jag,” Her voice taking on the edge of stone. “But I will not allow you to put my daughter through your barbaric blood rituals,” Saras voice began to crack and she took another beep breath “And your too late, I’ve already told her all about you.” She sneered.

------------------------------------

Niomie grabbed the nose of her board, lifting it just enough to slam into the hired guards face, her knees absorbing the impact and she fought for balance as her board came with in contact with the ground, the guard cart-wheeling head over heals down the gentle grassy slope behind her. In true childish manner, Niomie giggles, shrugged her shoulders while sticking out her tongue, and veered hard away from the other closing guard.

"Helm, what's our ETA?" Radomir asked.

"Approximately three hours, my lord," the helmsman responded.

"Good. You have the bridge, commander. I'll be in my quarters."

"Yes, my lord."

Radomir nodded and left the bridge. He proceeded to his quarters, and activated the HoloNet transceiver to see if anything new had sprung up.

Brike tried to meditate, setting her lightsaber on the floor before her and folded her legs elegantly, her brown robe drapping around her slim form. Breathing deeply, she closed her eyes and reached for the Force. It returned her call with eagerness, flooding her mind and flowing with her conciousness like a river of silver.

She tried to reach for the visions again, delving deep into the well of the Force that had sprung up in her mind, but was greeted by cold nothing where there was usually a flood of images. Disapointed at her finds, she recalled previous brushes that had yeilded visions. They had become incredibly restless of late, but why Brike couldn't say.

Staying in a medatative state, she quietly let the Force flow through her.

The second guard was a little faster than Niomie first realized, as he seemed to put ion a burst of speed and started to catch up with Niomie. The high wall surrounding the estate was approaching fast and she know she wouldn’t have time the slice the lock at the main gate and fend off her dads hired goons. Increasing her speed, aimed at one of the neatly trimmed shrub-trees that lined the inner wall, hopped her board up as high in the air as she could and hoping that she would make it, and for a second there, it looked like she was going to skip her board over the top of the wall. Unfortunately, for Niomie, the guard that was chasing her jumped as well, large strong hands reaching out and wrapping about the back of her board. The guard slammed into the wall with a metallic thud and slid down the wall to land heavly on the ground, Niomies hover board still in his grasp. A surprised and wide-eyed Niomie went sailing over the wall; legs tucked up and arms flapping in the air as she began her downwards decent. She hit he ground, tucked up into a ball and rolls a hand full of meter before coming to a stop. Picking herself up and dusting herself off she turned to look back at the wall.

“Ha! You gatta’ be better than that to catch me bantha breath.” She gave the wall a rude gesture. “So tell Mom I’ll be back when I feel like it.” She yelled out loud paying no mind to anyone who may have been watching or passing by.

"Ah. Barbaric. The label of choice for ignorant Aruetiise speaking of Mando'ade." Jag said in a sour tone. "Sara, she's an adult now. She needs to learn how to be an adult. Otherwise, she will be a child all her life. That's an insult to you and to me. She's my daughter as well as yours and I should have a say in her development."

Glancing over at the girl who just landed on his side of the wall, Jag snapped a hand out and grabbed her by the collar.
"Hold on you." Jag said to Niomie.

“Maybe if you changed you like of work I might conceder it, but you’d have to prove to me that you’ve changed before I’ll even think of letting her near you.” Saras voice was like ice.

---------------------------------------------------

“Eep!” Niomie squeaked out in surprise. “Let go of me you nurf!” She growled and twisted, leaving Jag holding her jacket as she steeped back, raising her fists…, and stopping short as she saw who had grabbed her. “Daddy!” She squealed out happily, her face lighting up in a smile from ear to ear and she wrapped her arms about him in a loving hug. “Daddy! Whendidyougetback?Areyouhereforme?CanIcomewithyou?Pleasepleasepleaseplease.” She chattered giggly.

-------------------------------------------------------------

“Niomie?” The droid turned its unblinking eye at the young girl. “You are in so much trouble young lady! You’ll be lucky if I let you out of your room by the time your married now you come back in side this house right this moment!” Niomie looked up at Jag with pleading eyes.

“Please Daddy, let me come with you. I’m suffocating in that house.”

"So, are you up to it, Master Giddeon? I figure a shrewd buisnessman would enjoy a shrewd plan," Vossa stated flatly. "Now if you don't mind, I need to plan a trip to Dac. And if you're still interested in betraying the Confederacy by selling to us, I suggest you get in contact with a man named Tarkin. He'll be of more use than I am."

Jag pulled the girl off of him, a stern expression on his face.
"Before anything, you're going to apologize to your mother for being a little hooligan. You should be thanking your ancestors you have a mother, a father, and a home."
Still gripping the girl by the collar, Jag looked to the droid eye.
"Sara, open up. Your Daughter has something she wants to say to you."

HoloNet News Update: A major bank on Muunilist was robbed recently by a Shistavanen with Jedi-like powers and an army of B1 and B2 battle droids with strange black markings decorated on their frames. The Shistavanen left a note at the scene of the crime, saying, "My first step to galactic conquest. Let it be known that I will be the future emperor of all beings in the galaxy. Resistance will not be tolerated. I will not give my name, but I shall be known as the sole Dark Lord of the Sith."

After this incident, Confederate leaders stated that a droid factory in the outer rim had its entire stock stolen by the aforementioned Shistavanen and what appeared to be hired mercenaries.

Meanwhile, Chairman Corlissi Ludar of the Rimma Alliance has expressed a desire to explore the Unknown Regions. The Alliance is currently looking for volunteers to join in on the expedition.

In other news, a nightclub on Nubia was closed down previously after...

"I wouldn't call what I'm doing a betrayal of the Confederacy." Giddean smiled darkly, "It wasn't an exclusive contract. I believe the Mon Calamari Shipyards recently launched a pair of three kilometer long Star Cruisers, first of their class. Independence-class if I recall the holo special on them correctly. In two days Kuat is going to be launching its own next generation Star Cruiser. The Titan, also first in her class. I suppose sending her after the shake down cruise would be more fitting. The most advanced ship from both navies in a head to head engagement."

"We've arrived at our destination, sire," Commander Vash reported.

"Thank you, commander," Radomir replied. "Inform the Jedi that I'll be waiting on the bridge." The commander acknowledged the order, and the prince stood up. He proceeded to the bridge.
