she nodded once, stepping back and letting the shift take her. there was a sickening crunch as her ribs set themselves, and withen seconds she was in her human form. holding her middle she shuddered, red and black fur rippleing across her skin as she gritted her teeth. " son of a.. ah.. Asa will kill me if he finds out." Riley glanced down at the wolf and frowned, distracted. " who are you..?"

Stefan held out an arm to catch Riley if she started to fall over. "I am Stefan. I can go without an alpha and a vampire. And much more. Who are you."
Cole rolled his eyes and went back to Jack and Shay. "Tail chaser." He muttered as a pair of ears popped out of the top of his head from irritation.

Jack laughed, ruffleing Cole's hair playfuly. " Cute ears wolf. tail chaseing isnt all that bad, if you find the right one to chase."
as they talked, Shay moved further back from them. she needed to think, to absorb what she had seen. she made it outside the gardens, leaning against the stone wall. she let her eyes close, takeing even breaths as she listened to the world around her. she had always been carful.. her grandma and mother both warning her away from creatures, human and other alike.. now she was steeped in them.

a quiet growl sounded from the shadows near her, enough to warn her something was near. in his lycan form, Ragnor rose from the shadows and lept at her, his large clawed hand swiping at the girl.

Shay didnt even manage a scream before the creatures hand made contact, snaping her head to the side and knocking her unconsious. the last thing she saw was the opening to the garden, then she was falling.

Ragnor chuckled quietly as he caught the girl, his arm sweeping her easily up before she hit the ground. he had been after the Riley female.. but this one was attractive, gold hair and green eyes. and she was a human, with untapped power.. that alone made her valuble. tucking the girl against his chest he shot forward, makeing distance between himself and her protector. they were gone withen moments.

Jack shook his head, laughing quietly as he studied the others. over his shoulder he teased. " what do you think, scary enough Shay?" when there was no answer he turned, worried, to find her gone. his heart stopped. " Shay..? Cole, did you see Shay leave?"

Cole sniffed the air and stiffened. "There was another wolf!! Stefan! Grab the ingered one and take her somewhere, make her talk! Should have known there would have been more!" Cole walked over to where the scent was the strongest and growled. "I love my nose. Come on Jack, lets go get your friend."
Stefan nodded and picked Riley up gently. "Don't mind my uncle, he goes over board with some things. I would like you to tell me what you know though, it would probably help."

(( best bet is to go to the graveyard. going right to the mansion would cause a bit of a tizzy. lol))

" its alright. id say the same." Riley mused, her eyes closeing as took a few pained breaths. lifting her chin she sniffed lightly, her eyes snapping open. " its the viking.. he was at the club before."

Stefan placed Riley down on a cushened bench down the path aways and then sat next to her. "Who is he? Do you know him?"

" the only encounter i had with him was my knee in his delicate parts." she said dismissively, standing firmly. winking she flipped her hair, pointedly ignoreing her screaming side. " dont worry sweet, im a tough puppy. the viking wont take me down so easy.. thanks for the worry, ill be fine." she hated others worrying for her, because she didnt know how to handle it. doing a cheerful salute she took off, gone in a blur.

"Then we must stay for it. And I am only half vampire. Sunlight doesn't bother me." Will walked them over to a low wall. "Is this ok, or would you prefer a little more private?"
