"Good, it's true," Reena yells back with a snicker.
After she finishes eating and cleaning her plate, she makes another and brings it in to Leon. She places it infront of him.
"Eat."
She pulls up another chair to make sure he does.

Leon mechanically shovels it in, and smiles when he's done.
"Good food." He says sarcastically. "Now, can I work? Or do you want another kiss?" He asks, grinning.

Reena smirks and takes his plate. She leans toward him to kiss him, and just as they're lips were about to touch, she pulls back and struts away. She looks at himover her shoulder with a lazy grin.

Leon points his left index finger at her, and a small, black cero blasts off, hitting her in the butt.
"Love you too, Reena." He laughs sarcastically.

"Yeah-huh," Reena yells back sarcastically, rubbing her butt once she's inside the kitchen again.
After digging through the kitchen, she finally finds what she was looking for.
As she peeks into his lab again, to see that he's doozed off again, his forehead against the table. She grins like a cheshire cat and creeps across the floor.
Once behind him, she raises the bag of flour over her head and throws it down on Leon's head, a cloud of white engulfing the whole room.
Reena stumbles backwards, laughing.
"Reena!" Leon yells, groping the air blindly for her. She sits down on the floor in the corner, still laughing.
When she sees his face, she bursts into more giggles and snorts.
"Y-your face!" She cries, wiping away laughter tears.
His face is ghostly white, streaks of his skin tone shining through where he tried to wipe it away.

Isaac watches Chou, and after Ukitake sets her back in bed, he stands up.
"Hey, Chou-chan, if you ever want to have tea, you can come by my place. I wouldn't doubt Kira if he read his poems, and maybe even Retsu can come! And you too, Jushiro!" Isaac says happily, and a roll. "And Yachiro-chan and Kenny-sempai, and lil' Shiro! And Momo-chan!"

Chou blinked as she heard Hikari's statement she smiled sweetly and nodded, her voice sounding horse. She would speak, once again forgetting her Japanese manners.

"Thank you very much Hikari... Everyone here has been so kind to me so far, I just don't wish to be a burden..."

She'd rub the back of her head shyly, blushing bright red. She knew the longer she stayed, the more of a burden she'd become, but how could she leave if she didn't know how to or in that matter how she got here. Her Reiatsu had completed it's drop, and she seemed to be at a normal Quincy level. Her eyes would widen at the invite Issac had given her, it seemed they were both going out of their way to make her feel welcome. She'd look down and blush. He had reminded her of Daicho's wife's nephew, Yukimoto. He looked to be about in grade school but in truth he was about 14/15 however he acted like an innocent child. It made her giggle into her hand weakly.

"I'd love to have tea with you all... and thank you for making me feel welcome..."

She'd look down sadly and grew silent again. Ukitake would sit down on the bed and look over at her sadly, then wiped the look off of his face and smiled at Hikari.

"Thanks for your concern Misuzu FukuTaicho, but I can handle myself pretty well. However you are right, I should rest up and recover a bit before going to talk to the head captain. I do need to get that done though... I've had this illness for well over 100 years... whats 1 day going to do to me...?"

He'd be joking with her, but he was hoping she'd react to it well. He'd look over at Isaac and smiled cheerfully, as he rested his back down onto the bed.

"We'd love to have tea with you Isaac- Taicho... Does this offer stand as an anytime offer or is it just good for today? I think it would be best for u to get few other captains opinions before having her stay..."

Chou looked over at Ukitake looking hopeful, it seemed like he genuinly cared what happened to her. It was nice to see someone who was genuinly kind to people. Her eyes would widen though as she heard him say he was well over 100 years old. What was going on around here? He looked no where near that age. He was joking right? She just stared at him looking more then a little surprised.

Isaac sees Hikari's expression, and sighs.
"You don't know why the quincy and Shinigami fought, do you?" Without waiting, he presses on. "The Shinigami purify the hollow when they kill it. It keeps the balance of souls. But Quincy. They destroy the soul, setting the soul-scale off balance. The Shinigami had a problem with that, so they killed the Quincy."

Ukitake would turn to Hikari and chuckle somewhat as he heard Hikari nearly jump out of her skin, he found it oddly enough cute. He was tired, however, of hearing members of other squads constantly grovel at him and treat him as if he were a god for his possition, he felt quite refreshed with how Chou had responded to him earliar, not as anything lower or below her but as an equal. He looked over at Hikari and gave a half bow.

"Misuzu FukuTaicho (sp?), are you the one tending to Murisaki- San?"

Chou would lift her head up and smiled softly at Hikari, gently letting go of her fathers cross. She spoke softly although it seemed like her voice may disappear at any second with how soft and quiet it was. She forgot her Japanese mannerisms and began to speak with her American English speaking habits. She would tilt her head and smile sweetly, to most people it would remind them of a child's innocent smile.

"Nice to meet you Hikari... I would love to be friends with you."

Chou's face paled as she heard the boy calling himself Isaac speak about what Quincies did. She looked really upset for a moment as she heard her stomach growl, but at the moment her eyes filled with tears and she began to hold back sobs.

"Did Dad do that to hollows...? I don't know what a hollow is... but I know that no living thing deserves that..."

She began to sniffle wondering if her father wasn't the hero she made him out to be. She shook her head violently to rid herself of the thought.

NO! Dad would never do something like that... he was much to kind. He even let mom get away with such things...

She then sat up and looked determined, she then quickly climbed up out of the bed and gently clasped her hands around Ukitake.

"Ukitake- San... at first I wanted to become a Quincy so I could become just like my father, so I could find out who took his life and make them pay for what they did, but after hearing that I... I just can't even think that a murderer deserves even that..."

She looked down uncertain unsure of what she was about to say. In general she was a shy girl, but when it came down to her father she became determined and strong.

"Ukitake- San... No! Ukitake- Sama... can you train me to be just like you?!"

She would bow down at his feet and start begging, tears starting to blind her. Her tears flowed from anger, sadness, and confusion. However through all this her inner strength showed brighter then the sun at day break.

"I will work really hard... I will do anything you ask and I will practice everyday... please... just please... help me to grow stronger!"

Ukitake's face went from a sad look of pitty, to a stern frown. He gently took her hand and pulled her up.

"Murisake- San... you shouldn't be standing in your condition, let alone bowing on the ground, you are still recovering. Please do not bow down to me because it does not make me feel comfortable. Murisake- San... I can't make you into something your not, much like how a bird can not teach a fish to fly like it can. But at the very least I can try and help you control you reiatsu. I'm sorry but I can't teach you my ways... you have to learn your own way on your own or through a master who knows your abilities better then you..."

Chou's head would hang down in shame as she thought about her father and why he must have felt so asshamed of what he truely was. She gently clenched her fists to her side trying to seem strong. The tears welling up in her eyes were blinding her because she didn't want to cry. She was trying to stay strong, if not for herself then for anyone around her who were trying their best to help her.

"Thank you Ukitake- San... I don't deserve your pitty..."

Ukitake looked a bit hurt by her choice of words, but he knew what had sparked it. He knew revenge was never a good motivation, it only caused one to fight blindly through rage.

"Murisake- San my offer still stands... if you'd like you can stay with our squard for a while until we get you on your feet... That is AFTER I talk to the first Taicho about it..."

Chou would look up and smile sadly, giving a half bow.

"Thank you Ukitake- San... I am ready to go and help out... I am feeling much better now..."
Chou would go to walk outside limping along. Ukitake would look annoyed and picked her up and carried her over to her bed and layed her down. Shou would flush furiously, she felt like he was treating her like she was just a child.

"No... Murisake- San... you are going to rest here until you are completely well... THEN you may join us..."

Chou would then look to the other's feeling a bit shy. Things were starting to feel awkward and she felt more and more like a burden to the people living in this strange place.

"..."

Hikari nodded shyly. "You can stay here and recover yourself, Chou-san, and it doesn't matter to me what happened in the past, because it wasn't your doing at all," she said softly. She then asked the 13th captain, "Ukitake-taicho, should you be up and walking about as well? Maybe it would be best to wait and recover awhile before talking to the head captain?" She glanced out the window and groaned. "It's already so late... Please, if everyone will excuse me, I have a lot of paperwork to fill out. If any of you need me, I will be in the office. Isaac-taicho, you too. Rest, now, please." She bowed and turned to leave. Her opinion of Chou still stood. She liked her. No matter what the stupid history books said.
Tsu rested his feet on a low writing table as he lounged on one of the chairs in Hikari's office. Lost in thought, he hadn't realized how much time had passed since he entered the room. The rice in the two bento sitting on the table no longer steamed and had started to grow cold. Tsu rested his hands behind his head as he thought about the spiritual pressure from before. He could almost swear he knew one of them. Someone he knew had been fighting. But every time he almost had it figured out, the name slipped away. Oh well. Probably a waste of time anyways... Tsu sighed as his eyes fell on the two bento he had brought with him. Knowing Hikari, she hadn't bothered to eat all day. Someone had to look after her. And after all the trouble he went through to get them, she had better show up. She did say she had paperwork to do. So where was she? The smell of the shrimp tempura was starting to get to him. "Screw it. If she's not here soon, it's all mine..."

"Don't worry, Jushiro-sempai, anytime you'd like, just stop by. I'll need to invite the others anyway." He smiles widely at Chou, and salutes to Ukitake, before falling over, asleep.

Hikari entered with a sigh, leaning against the door and her spirits would have gone even further down the tubes seeing all the paperwork they had for her if Tsu hadn't been sitting there. "Tsu-kun! I didn't expect you to be in here waiting!" She gasped. Her stomach then chose that moment to embarrass her and growled when she noticed the food and she giggled nervously. "Um... yeah. When was the last time I ate...?" She took her seat over behind the desk and sighed, staring down 3 stacks of paperwork towering above her head on the desk. "Seriously, how do they expect us to heal people after giving us this much work?" She glanced apologetically at Tsurabisu. "It looks like it's gonna be awhile before I can eat with you..." Her stomach growled once again in protest.

You're going to sit there and eat. Got it?" Tsu pointed to one of the bento on the table. "That is, unless you don't want it..." Tsu playfully reached for one of the shrimp.

She reached over and grabbed one of his shrimp with her chopsticks. "Aha!" She laughed, remembering a time long ago when they would play together like this. Now, being in different squads and being ranked officers, they barely saw each other any more. It was actually really sad. It's not like Tsu would ever transfer to Hikari's division, and Hikari would be eaten alive by the others if she were to attempt to transfer to Tsu's squad, so they were kind of stuck.

Tsu chuckled a little bit before taking another bite. It had been a while since the two of them had been able to sit down and enjoy a meal together. Normally their duties kept them apart. And with all that had happened that day already, he knew the eleventh squad was going to be busy once they figured out who's spiritual pressure that was earlier. Tsu poured himself another cup of tea and took a sip. "Hmm... You know, I had a thought about what we were talking about earlier. Your Bankai and all. Have you talked to Keikoku about this? She might know a bit more about this. I've also got a few ideas about it, but I can't be sure about those until I actually see it."

Leon glares, a smile playing at his lips. He grabs some extra flour, and rubs it in her face.
"Take that, Beeyatch!" Leon cries in triumph.
