The material of her shirt was rough on her face as she rubbed her eyes. She hadn't even noticed that she was crying again. Stephanie looked around, but nobody was there. Just the wind maybe? she wondered. Her ears perked up as she got an idea, raising her hat a little. She placed one shoe on the bottom of the gate, and hoped that no one was watching, even though she was wearing shorts.
