Tadashi tumbled in unceremoniously, gnashing his teeth in frustration," I would have left if not for Taicho's orders..."
The bakudo around him dissipated and he straightened himself up and looked around the lab. He saw Aurelius and a few others, but most of all, he registered the body of Captain Hei.
'What a role model...to die as soon as I decide you are my idol. May you rest in peace - i'll never understand why people hated you so.'
He honestly couldn't see what had been so bad about Captain Hei. Harsh words? Arrogant actions? Those were meaningless, so long as he was on the Gotei's side. Why could nobody see that? Why did people pour their hatred into such a person when there were so many others who were actual enemies?
He shook his head again,' I wonder where Elisia took her Captain...'

Masashi, Lee, Gobantai Taicho"Telling me to go. But hands beg me to stay. Your lips say that you love. Your eyes say that you hate. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. What you build you lay to waste. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take. So I, I won't be the one. Be the one to leave this. In pieces. And you, you will be alone. Alone with all your secrets. And regrets, don't lie. You promised me the sky. Then tossed me like a stone. You wrap me in your arms. And chill me to the bone. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take." Lee continued to stand there unphased by Eriko almost walking into him her footsteps had been easy to hear in the silence. Eriko's words caused him to glance over at her since she was obviously going to pretend she hadn't heard everything that was said though she certainly had an obvious blush. "It is just a small thing Eriko-san. I was asked to do so therefore I did. Despite all my instinct telling me not do so..." Turning his head away from her Lee closed his eyes giving the obvious appearance of being finished talking for the moment giving her silent permission to leave. After about a full ten seconds more of silence however he cleared his throat again and continued. "I meant what I said Eriko-san. It was not your fault. You do not have the foresight to foresee your attack being rebounded on you. That is the true test of a Shinigami recognizing mistakes and moving past them to make themselves better. In the end our actions are our own. Nobody can tell you whether they were wrong or right and nobody should try. You must decide for yourself. Remember that. Of course this is all opinion so you can disregard it as you like." Tadashi appearing then leaving was not something he was worried about either. His appearance meant things were going to start winding down and therefore Lee would be able to leave if he was unneeded by Tsukiko when the girl returned. Turning his head to look at Eriko again he gave her a somewhat kind look to show the words he had spoken were indeed intended to help her move past her slight misstep. After the brief look however he turned back towards the exit and closed his eyes again this time finished speaking unless Eriko had something else to say.

Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Sanseki "Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it." Eriko nodded and would have left at that time if he had not spoken again. Her head cocked to one side as she tried to understand it from his opinionated point of view. Of course, she wanted to make herself better. It was the only thing that could give her closure from her mistakes. Sending that arrow and the Kido right at Aurelius - that was wrong. Nobody was blaming her like she thought they would have and had simply fueled her own self-pity. She wiped at her eyes before she could even think about crying again and nodded briefly at her Taicho's kind face.
"I understand, Masashi-Taicho," she began, moving past him towards the exit for herself, "I do consider that what I did as wrong and as such, I will use it to better my judgement in the future. I know you're going to dismiss it again but, thank you again." The Sanseki gave him an assertive nod. "I will be at the Gobantai grounds if you need me, sir." With that said, she walked out of the Twelfth Division Labs and grounds. It was a fleeting thought if she had been rude to her Captain or not. Then, there was Tadashi's arrival at some point but the occurence had not bothered her in reality. She would deal with him later. For now, she would head over to the barracks of her own Division and get some rest. Her decision about the promotion was still pending and he would need an answer soon.

641 xxxxxxxxthe Sun locks the Heavens xxxxxxxxthe Moon eclipses the Night 博士月子 Jūnibantai Taichō The door to the Labs slowly creaked open as Tsukiko entered the main labs. She was struck by a mixture of smells varying from ammonia to sulfur, none of which bothered her. Tsukiko, for all intents and purposes looked quite strange, even felt this way. She radiated visible light-blue Reiatsu, and gave of the aura of a woman scorned, both of these feelings being apparent before she even entered the area. As the door behind her shut, Tsukiko began to walk towards the sphere that contained Hei; Lee didn't even register to her. Lifting her hand as though she were preparing to perform Kurohitsugi, her left eye began to glow red, though not the entire eye, just a small circle about a fourth of an inch in diameter in it's center.
"Taishita Kukan Kudaku - Sekai no Kichikukan." A wave of gravity washed past her and struck the barrier that was to reject and destroy all spiritual matter. By applying gravity inside the barrier, she began to literally warp space-time and bend light inside the sphere. For an instant, miniature black hole appeared and the fourth dimensional barrier shattered, falling apart like glass, spreading a wave of gravity into the labs. The black hole fell apart quickly, but not before drawing a significant amount of light into it and cause anything not latched down to the floor to move towards it by about three inches. Pushing off the ground with her right foot, Tsukiko became a blur two feet into the air and faded into sight next to Hei, mid-air with her knee extended towards his cheek. Connecting, she knocked him across the labs, his body crashing into the opposite wall and cratering it in the process. Fading out of sight once more, she appeared just in front of him, standing perpendicular to her his body with her right elbow extended and the adjacent hand buried in her left hand for added force; her elbow was driven into his abdomen. The resulting force of impact caused the wall to shatter and threw Hei outside. His body flew several dozen feet, hit the ground, and slid down an alleyway, stopping once he hit a building at the other side of T-Junction connecting that alley with another.
Leaping through the hole in the wall, she pounced on Hei's body after it came to a halt, and landed on his chest. Her hands slid to either side of his shoulders and her knees were stuck in his abdomen. "Goddamit. DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT! HOW DARE YOU DIE AND REDUCE MY MOTHER TO SUCH A STATE! WHAT THE ******** WERE YOU THINKING!?" She drew her fist back and decked him in the face, surely knocking a few teeth loose. "YOU'RE SUCH A b*****d! INSENSITIVE! DISTANT! YOU NEVER SPEND TIME WITH ME! YOU EMOTIONALLY HURT MY MOTHER!" By this time, tears were streaming down her face, landing on his face and neck. Her whole body was trembling as her anger turned into sadness and she was unable to contain herself any longer. Her voice dropped, and she began to plead. "Will you come back to me if I was a better daughter? I promise not to be so messy around the labs. I'll make dinner more often... Will that... bring you back?" At an abnormally fast rate, she was cycling through the Five Stages of Grief. Denial was gone after she refused to believe his death at first. Anger passed as she began to enter the bargaining stage, making such offers in exchange to bring him back to life. In the far deeper recesses of her psyche, she knew none of this would work, but at this point and time, she was willing to try anything. "Please..." She whimpered, collapsing onto him a certain degree and burying her face into his chest. "Please come back, father." ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪

Lee remained there standing still and eyes closed when Tsukiko entered the area causing him to look up at her briefly. "Okay now that you are here I am goi-" That was about when Tsukiko destroyed the barrier then began physically assaulting the body of Hei. "Tsukiko-san stop it. This is not helping anything." Lee's words were obviously lost on her as she continued her physical assault knocking him out of the labs and then jumping on his body. Following her Lee caught all that was yelled causing the sadness inside him to grow by the second causing him to want to just comfort her. "Tsukiko-san..." Tsukiko crying and pleading with her dead father to have him come back alive was just too much and Lee reached forward hesitant at first, but deciding against the hesitation grabbed her shoulder gently. "He isn't coming back Tsukiko-san. I'm sorry, but there is nothing we can do. I am not sure what else to say... I am not very good with this sort of thing. However I do know that sometimes all we need is an outlet so if you would like to get it all out physically or through just talking. Feel free..." Stepping back Lee held his arms down at his sides and stood there looking down at her figure he waited. It was the least he could do in this situation in Lee's mind.

⋆⋆⋆∥ELISIA xRIYU ☇【squadxfourxLIEUTENANT 】 | Entrance from Lieutenant Quarters in Fourth Division |
It had taken her a little longer than usual, since she had peeped into the room where her Captain was, to see if everything was still alright. She had been worrying a little about the fact that it might take a while to search through the entire 12th Division areas, but the first place she went to – the 12th Division Laboratory – had Tsukiko in it. Elisia blinked several times as she looked at the hole in the wall and the fact that Hei’s body was somehow actually on the streets, with Tsukiko burying her face in his chest. Sheesh. Wow. She winced slightly, as she calculated exactly what Tsukiko had most likely done. That was not pleasant at all. There were several Shinigami standing around, their mouths gaping open as they watched Tsukiko. She shook her head wearily and gestured at them to leave. Great, now everyone would know about the fact that Hei was dead, if they didn’t already know. Most of them had left when she gestured but several approached her, worried looks upon their face, “Is everything alright? Tsukiko was yelling something about her mother being emotionally hurt and yelling at Hakase-Taichou.” Elisia was stunned silent for a while, unable to speak as she had just comprehended what they were saying. She hadn’t know, even though she should have expected, since she had known about the fact that Yuki and Hei were definitely close. Her eyes closed and she was barely able to mutter, “It’s alright, just…I think Tsukiko needs some time at the moment.”
Throwing scared glances at Tsukiko, they finally left, unsure of what to do. This entire death of Hei was going to throw Sereitei into chaos, if not at least make everybody panic about their enemy, since the enemy managed to kill their most powerful Captain. She rubbed her face with her hands, looking weary and tired. This had been the worst day she had ever had, not to mention the fact that this was worse on the people that she liked – Tsukiko and Yuki. Lee was there too, a little further from Tsukiko than she would have expected. Maybe he wasn’t entirely used to dealing with people that were grieving. In a polite gesture, she inclined her head in Lee’s direction before saying softly under her breath as a greeting, “Hey, Lee-Taichou.” However, she didn’t really pay too much attention to him and usually, she would have bobbed a curtsy or a bow as a polite greeting, but there was no time for that now. Not when Tsukiko was like that. Crouching down beside Tsukiko, she stroked Tsukiko’s hair, murmuring calming sounds under her mouth. She wanted to hug Tsukiko but she knew that Tsukiko never had liked hugs ever before. She finally spoke in a soothing tone, “Don’t worry about your mother, she’s fine – I just put her to sleep, she just needs rest for a while.” Her voice cracked slightly under the weight of the emotion, “But….Tsukiko…you…I’m sorry.” Elisia didn't know what to exactly say so she placed a comforting hand on Tsukiko's shoulder, patting her consolingly. ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

Tadashi silently stood behind Elisia, looking very out-of-place. He had followed Elisia back from the Fourth Division's building just to come back to the labs. At the moment, the Third Seat was trying hard not to look at Hei or the crying girl over him.
He didn't want to say anything because he knew he didn't have the right. Besides, nothing he could say would comfort Tsukiko. So, like a fool, he just stood there with Elisia, wondering why he had followed her - of course, she'd suggested he tag along, but...he wasn't really thrilled to see this. It felt like an intrusion of the greatest magnitude, just to see Tsukiko break down over her dead father. He so badly wanted to say words of comfort but kept his lips pursed shut. Tadashi knew he didn't look very impressive right now, a pained expression on his face from wanting to say something - anything - to help.

341 xxxxxxxxthe Sun locks the Heavens xxxxxxxxthe Moon eclipses the Night 博士月子 Jūnibantai Taichō Subconsciously, the second she was touched, Tsukiko generated a spherical barrier of gravity that pushed matter away, around herself and her father. Lee's words were lost on her, falling on deaf ears, so she didn't know he was only trying to help. In fact, she tought he was trying to hurt him due to his feelings toward him. At this point, though she had cycled through the first steps, she was reverting back to some of them, namely anger and denial. "NO! Stay back! He'll live... if you just leave him alone. He's mine.... no one can touch him..." Her back arced and her rear rose into the air as she awkwardly pulled herself up to sitting position. Still trembling, she half-crawled, half fell next to Hei and sat on her rear, pulled her knees to her chest and buried her face in them as Elisia showed up.
Once more, she took her appearance as a hostile action. With her face still buried in her knees, Tsukiko silently envoked her Bankai, which did little to her Reiatsu, but caused three large spheres of compressed gravity to appear in the sky just five feet above their heads. Each was seventy-five feet in diameter and came visible as a dark grey, sphere that was translucent and appeared to have no core. Black, non-uniform lines circle the spheres like latitudinal lines that were sporadically placed across the face of the sphere. With a mere, hardly-conscious thought, Tsukiko flung the spheres at the three present. They had significant force, needless to say, as they were compressed gravitons that held significant weight and could easily crush them and still cause significant collateral damage. Unfortunately, it was her state of mind that was doing this, she didn't truly desire them any harm, but her depression was hitting, and it was hitting hard. So there she stayed, curled up inside her barrier, and using her abilities to knock around her comrades.
[Eh, not much I can do at this point. Plus my creativity is shot from the profile. xd ] ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ This song set the mood pretty well, I think.

"s**t, Bakudō #39: Enkosen!" shouted Tadashi on reflex. The shield didn't hold up, but he was able to back off and get to a safe distance - if he was really safe from an ability he didn't know.

~Hideki Uchiro ~十二Junibantai, Fukutaichou 十二I n T h e L a b "Thought I should cause trouble today . . ."R e m o r s e ? Hideki flickered into sight within the room just after Tsukiko had unleashed her attack upon the others. He was out unconscious when he appeared and so that all passed by with no knowledge to Hideki. Soon after, though, his eyes began to peel open. They grew wider until they held the view of Tsukiko curled on Hei's chest. "Ne...?" Hideki used some of the reiatsu he could let out to move forward. He hovered closer until he stopped just outside the barrier she, Tsukiko, made. He struggled to lift a hand upwards to reach and touch her, knowing it wouldn't work. He touched the outside of the barrier and began to move it forward, which simply made his arm get pushed backwards onto itself, destroying the arm, in this case, his right. Hideki was pushed back off balance due to the sudden reaction, thinking the barrier was something that simply shocked. His eyes were wide upon the impact and he stumbled before coming back to a float position. Floating directly in front of Tsukiko.
"Tsukiko!" Hideki spat out first the loudest he could in such a bad shape. He could barely think right to procure coherent sentences. "You're father. He has passed on. Nobly as well. Do not grieve in this manner. Cry, yes. Cry as much as you like, we will be here. But do not hurt others for the pain you feel. They have done nothing. Do not look for revenge, it will only devour you. Cry out your sorrow and mourn as long as you need. He's made you captain....Act like it." Hideki's ending words were marked as sharp and bitter, to make the point of reintroducing that type of feeling. He believed if he made point of her responsibilities to her father, she may take them up. If he was wrong and he was attacked, he would simply begin his stasis mode and be on with his life. Tsukiko would have to grow up and realize she must live with this missing from her life. As would Yuki.
Hideki's eyes rolled backwards and he began to slowly fall towards the ground before his eyes slapped back open and he moved upwards again. He looked around as though he couldn't remember a thing, which in all reality, was quite true. He lifted his hands to his head and shock them around in his hair. He'd have to get along without his Captain as well. Shouldn't be all to hard. Hei was quite independent and stark about keeping his subordinates in the same mindset or ability to be independent as well. With that, Hideki stared at Tsukiko for as long as he could.

There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take." Lee's eyes grew sadder at the barrier Tsukiko erected pushing him back a few inches. He glanced to the side at Elisia and her greeting giving her a slight nod in greeting his eyes moving to Tadashi and giving him a slightly calculating look. Returning his gaze to Tsukiko after a moment however he continued to wait and see what she would do. "Tsukiko-san.... He isn't coming back." As Tsukiko entered into Bankai Lee closed his eyes and let out a sigh looking up after a few moments and opening his eyes. She certainly wasn't in control of her actions right now. Hearing Tadashi however Lee looked over at him with a disappointed look silently scolding him before deciding to do it verbally. "Don't be an idiot. As if a enkosen could block that. You are just wasting energy." Disappearing he quickly used two flash steps one to grab Elisia then another to appear beside Tadashi pushing him over slightly as he dropped Elisia. "Tozanshō. Kyōmon."
The inverted pyramid appeared around them layered twice with an extra two layers of the mirror like barrier to improve it's defensive capabilities. Lee held his ground as all three spheres crashed into the barrier with destructive force shattering the barrier all the way down to the last mirror barrier cracking it visibly despite it's power. "That was a Bankai and you actually thought such a kido spell could block it. Imbecile. I should have just let you get crushed. Keep him out of harms way Elisia-san." Using shunpo he moved past the crack barrier letting it drop after stopping the spheres. Hideki speaking to her was something Lee agreed with as he moved as close to the barrier as was possible. Letting Hideki finished Lee didn't spare the Lieutenant another glance as he stared at Tsukiko fiercely.
"Hideki-san is right Tsukiko-san... No Tsukiko-taicho. Hei died and left you his position and you smear his memory by acting in such a way so stop acting like a spoiled little brat and stop taking your pain out on your friends. If you want to beat the hell out of someone then do it to someone you don't like. Like me I can take it.... If you persist in such a way attacking Elisia-san and the baka then I will be forced to take action which is something I do not want to do." The sadness had reappeared on Lee's face as he gazed at Tsukiko hoping his words or Hideki's words would get through this time. The harshness of some of his words had not even bothered to register as his absence from comforting others didn't help any. "I know what losing a parent feels like and it is never easy. You just have to move past it and focus on doing something in their memory. Mine just so happened to be becoming a Taicho. The pain never goes away but that doesn't mean that you have to let the pain control you. I know you are stronger than this so like I said stop acting like a spoiled brat. You three may want to consider leaving if she doesn't snap out of it soon. I can't keep protecting you..."

⋆⋆⋆∥ELISIA xRIYU ☇【squadxfourxLIEUTENANT 】 As she was pushed away, she winced slightly. That was one of her abilities she knew well – the power of gravity. However, she still attempted to talk to Tsukiko as she was pushed away, mumbling, “Tsukiko, Tsukiko…you can’t keep on doing this.” As a result of her worry for Tsukiko, she barely noticed the fact that Tsukiko had called her Bankai out, at least, until Tadashi yelled her name. Looking up, she silently cursed under her breath, about to dart out of the way. Luckily though, Lee had grabbed her and dropped her. She fell to the ground before standing up and dusting herself off. At this particular moment in time, Tsukiko’s pain was cutting her deeply and she could barely watch without feeling distressed herself. Memories of her own sister’s funeral came back and she pushed them out of her head, attempting not to acknowledge the fact that there was a hollow feeling in the middle of her. Tsukiko’s anguish and grief was hurting Elisia herself much more than she would like to admit and she couldn’t do anything. As both Hideki, whom she had not realized was there, and Lee spoke, she kept quiet until Lee addressed the three of them.
For a second, she felt like saying to him that she wasn’t going to leave her friend in such a shape, but her logical sense kicked in soon. Sheesh, she was really messed up. If it became dangerous and she insisted on staying, she might not only endanger herself but the others too. Right now, she could barely think properly but…she needed to protect Tadashi at the moment. Drawing her zanpakuto, she muttered, “Rukki Huang” as her zanpakuto shattered into a million different pieces before fading into the background. She absorbed all the light energy she could at the moment, her worried and anxious eyes still trained on Tsukiko. She spoke to Lee first, “Only if it gets too dangerous. I want to make sure that she’s alright. But…I also need to get something for my Captain first – Hei-Taichou always had some sort of pill or something to restore Yuki-Taichou back to her proper age.” Then she turned to Tsukiko, quiet tears streaming down her face, “Please, Tsukiko, please. Just...come back to us.”

373 xxxxxxxxthe Sun locks the Heavens xxxxxxxxthe Moon eclipses the Night 博士月子 Jūnibantai Taichō Looking to the ground between her legs with a deadened stare, Tsukiko could only register the term "spoiled brat." As it were, her depression made her hypersensitive to insults or criticism, thus Lee's words did little to help her current state of mind. Her grip visibly tightened on her knees as she wrapped those present in gravitons to such a point that their cardiovascular system couldn't work properly because of the increased pull by the earth. Thus, added to the inability to move well due to their increased weight, their blood flow would be altered to the point that mild to medium discomfort would become present throughout the body. It was entirely possible for heart failure to occur if the situation persisted for more than a few minutes. Tsukiko lifted her head and stared at Lee with the same deadened stare that she had cast at the ground. "Go play with your wife if I'm so much of a spoiled brat to you. Don't bother with me any longer. Go bang her and leave me alone." She snapped, just before lowering her head into her knees and going silent again. Honestly, to think that anyone would say such things to a girl who was upset. He may as well have danced on Hei's chest, since it was hardly going to help her.
Upon hearing Elisia speak of pills, she shook her head, shaking her knees in the process. "Won't work... Leave me be..." With this, she wrapped herself in Anti-Gravitons and entered a state of pseudo-flight, picked Hei up and shouldered him, sliding out of her barrier, which was wholly possible to do since it pushed outward. Once she was a few feet into the air, her legs bent and the pressure within them increased. A small shockwave was released at her feet, traveling outward in a concentric circle and she disappeared as she combined Shukuchi Mukyo with Koku Shukuchi. All across the sky, but heading away, concentric circle shock waves appeared as she used the same combination to rocket herself away from the current area. It wasn't until she was out of sight and range of feeling that the gravitons around them would be released and allowing them perfect mobility once again.
[Yes, I know they don't live on "Earth", but the SS is located on some type of body that has gravitational pull, but it's never named. So I say Earth here for the sake of being simple.]

After Tadashi's Enkosen had shattered, he'd already moved back into a relative safe zone. He watched silently as the others tried to break through Tsukiko's grief, but none of their words would register. He winced as the shockwave of Tsukiko's exit reverberated around the room, but remained a simple observer of the events, doing nothing else but keeping himself in the area.

Then came the crushing force pushing down on his whole body and his internal organs causing him to grimace in pain his teeth gritting together. "Wife?" 'Who could she- Oh....' Struggling to take a single step forward he decided against moving anymore his throat constricting slightly and making it hard to breath his vision beginning to blur and his becoming foggy from lack of oxygen. "I just want to help you Tsukiko..." Lee's vision went black for a second before all of a sudden the pressure was gone and Tsukiko was gone with Hei's body. Taking a few deep breaths he stood still. "Everyone alright? Alright Elisia-san the situation is officially too dangerous now stay here. I will get through to her if it kills me. Don't worry I will choose my words more carefully. Check on Hideki-san. He doesn't look so good." Moving away from the area he let out another sigh trying to think of the best thing to say. Tough love obviously wasn't the solution here so maybe go with what he had said before minus the whole spoiled brat thing?
Lee of course had no idea where she was headed at this time but he knew somewhere she would stop by eventually. Especially after hearing Elisia say her mother when referring to Yuki. That certainly explained a lot and yet at the same time did not change his view of either Yuki, Hei, or Tsukiko. It seemed an insignificant thing to be worrying about in his honest opinion. Why was he so determined to help Tsukiko get over it though? Lee kept telling himself it's so that they weren't down more Shinigami but that wasn't the entire truth. She was just a frightened little girl trying to deal with the death of her father. Something he knew about thanks to his own parents dieing so many years ago. Maybe it was the thought of her having to go through it alone that was just too much. After all he had no one to help him through the pain and it wasn't fun. With that thought in mind Lee used his maximum shunpo speed to head for the Fourth Division.
