RaohTheKenoh Evil characters are machiavellian rulers of men. Evil Groups don't work out because there is very little trust between a group of people who are just in to make money and kill people. if you had a group of evil characters who were loyal to each other you can have a very cool evil game. Then again, evil is all relative. Orcz forever btw.... Yup. I think the "Lawful Evil" type is cool. Everyone is evil and kill people, but has a minimal trust and respect for the others members of the group. But then again, most of the people I know prefer to be anything, except lawful...

In one of his collumns, someone asked what kind of girl he likes, and his response was: "1. No fat chicks 2. No fat chicks 3. No fat chicks 4. No fat chicks 5. No fat chicks In fact, all rules are no fat chicks" Edit: yeah, Fuzzy said it better. lol I forgot that. I remember being mad. I guess that is when I stopped reading the Red Mage articles... sweatdrop

Its awesome to be an Ubermensch esque character, incredibly powerful and with a strong, reasoning mind. you respect those who have power and what is hard to do. you are a monster of combat and politics. A Passionate man with his passions under control. You buck a mediocre society and become the savior of your race by forcing the mighty to rise... damn thats the character i'm playing now....

DwarfPriest Jinnari lol I forgot that. I remember being mad. I guess that is when I stopped reading the Red Mage articles... sweatdrop Hehe... me too... ^^; Everything else was mostly a "Who vs Who" anyway... Yeah... The thing that got me was that that guy who wrote it wasn't all that thin to begin with... He may have meant it as a joke but it was a bit insensitive... And yes...the "who vs who" stuff got old...like the 3rd time he did it. xp

Its just a joke even if it is insensitive to someone. its like the saying goes, if you made a joke that didn't offend anyone it wouldn't be funny for anyone either...

But being offensive doesn't automatically make it funny. Generally, it should be a good offense/funny trade-off. If you're pissing to many people off for one weak crack, you're failing as a comedian.

To some people it was funny and to other people it wasn't. thats pretty much the essence of comedy.

Since we are a minority... yeah probly. more people were amused by it than offended. its a lot like Maddox's humor. Whatever group he ends up attacking is gravely offended, but fo the most part what he says is correct, and the rest of us have a good laugh as a result.

Except Maddox sucks, because he's rarely funny. You have to be offensive to be funny, but just being offensive doesn't automatically make it funny. That is were many people screw up.
