"Yes, that will do... you may not be capable of creating large shadows yet, and certainly not capable of using them as weaponry, but... that won't be an issue, I suspect.
Give it... five more minutes."

There are many men worse than me, and many better too...
"Can I move others as well as myself? I suspect I would like to excel in moving myself, but having the ability to move others as well is a plus." Schraeder moved his arm some more, checking the mobility and finding himself mostly satisfied with his healing.
...but what truly matters is justice.

"Good enough," Lionel said. "You're no longer dangerous. Come back here and we'll discuss what we're doing - we need someone who knows about present events." Lionel led back to where the lamplight was. It seemed very bright, but it wasn't blinding, even to look straight at. Those present from Adam-team appeared to comprise Lionel, Lizzie, the Rock Guy, and two they didn't recognize. One was a guy sporting an absurdly huge black afro - his skin was pale white. He appeared to be dressed in waders and a tee shirt. He was rather large, not to mention tall, at least six foot three.
The other was a girl who was similarly oddly dressed - no shoes, white... stockings, perhaps, and dark short shorts. A leather-ish bikini was the rest of it. Her hair was vibrantly orange, and barely brushed her shoulders at its longest; she was similarly short, standing maybe five and a half if she was lucky. Oddly enough, she seemed to have a pair of tinted googles pushed up to her forehead.
"I don't suppose you've gotten names from these people, so I'll introduce them. That's Elizabeth Christina Code," he pointed to Lizzie, "Tanya Nix," he pointed to the Ice Girl, "Kevin Jones," he pointed to the Earth Dude, "George Braveheart," he pointed to the man with the afro, "and Nikki England," he pointed to the girl with the orange hair.
"So what we need to do is to discover where your biggest sources of power are, and get to the largest. The Thief is almost certainly going to go straight for them. Probably going to write Sigils with them, and if he does that he'll also probably overload them and destroy them. Are there nuclear reactors on this continent?" Lionel asked. He stared at Schraeder especially, apparently believing that he knew more than the rest as a reporter.
It was at this point that Schraeder realized that Lionel had yellow eyes. Momentarily, he also noticed that Tanya's were pure red. The hell?

Schraeder looked Lionel in the eyes without looking away. "Nice peepers."
He took a seat and crossed his arms. "Yes, there are nuclear reactors on the continent. Quite a few, though I don't know the number off the top of my head. How will we know which one the Thief goes for?"

"They're seeing auras already?" Kevin asked.
"Apparently. We'll deal with that after this, Kevin," Lionel told him. Now that it was mentioned, h,owever, they all did seem to have... color around them. Obviously Lionel meant to deal with that later. Turning back to Schraeder, he nodded slowly. "Which ones are close to population? Wherever there's a nuclear reactor near a big city, that's probably where he's going. He'll probably try to get a meltdown going in the process... We probably have a few hours, he procrastinates a bit. Makes it easier for us. Now... we don't have any method of quick transportation for a group. I mean, one of the other Adam-team members can do some current-riding, but he can't carry all of us, let alone all of you too. So... vehicles, anything like that? I saw antique internal combustion landcars out there - do you have anything large?"

Adela cursed in spanish. This really felt like a badly made hollywood film. "I have a car that we can use. Don't know if it's able to fit all of us though." Actually, she wasn't even sure if it was still usable since she had no idea if it got caught in the battle.

"First question is, where exactly are we?" Schraeder looked around, to no apparent avail. "Some warehouse, I'm guessing; where?"

"...Denver," Lionel grunted. "Somewhere in Denver. We have no idea, your Denver looks nothing like ours. I mean... no Elevator Belt, no... We really aren't quite sure what to do. We didn't go far, maybe a few miles, and we can cover that in a matter of minutes should we need to. You do own vehicles, though? We'll need room for all of you plus the ten of us."

"We're going to want several vehicles then," Schraeder said as he stood. "When do we leave?"

"Or we could get a bus." Finnegan suggested as he managed to get to his feet.

Lionel looked blankly at Finnegan. "I know about public transportation systems, but I'm positive there's no one this... odd on them at any given moment, especially not ten extremely odd people.
"I think personal vehicles will be easier. I don't know how big yours are, but I can get you back there and that might make it easier."

((Sorry, my dad stole my internet... >.>)) ((Since I won't be on, justsay that I'm following silently. I'm sorry, I'll try to be much more active next week.))
Lisha was silent, thinking. Not sure about anything. Certainly confused. Completely healed except for a couple scars disappearing quickly. Full of energy, strangely.
Shouldn't she be tired?
Seems not.
Weird place, anyway.

Schraeder shook his head, spreading his arms. "You're kidding though, right? I mean, you want to just go after him again? Let me tell you how this will go."
He flicked a finger at Lionel. "He will school you people. Again. He beat you last time without breaking a sweat, and he can probably do it again."
He swung the finger around, sweeping it across Finnegan, Lisha, Adela, and finally settling on himself. "And we have not gotten anywhere since the last time we met him. You know, when he blew up that thing that came within millimeters of killing us? Not only have we not improved, but we would get in your way if you tried to rely on us. Plus, seeing as how we survived, he's going to know something is up and go out of his way to kill us."
He stared into Lionel's eyes, one eyebrow slightly raised. "So really, I'm just wondering what you think we're gonna be doing out there. If you plan to attack him again, then I'll have to disagree. We need at least some training before we try this again."

The Adams all glared up to Schraeder. It struck him that they could seem... unusually dangerous. Lionel seemed to be their spokesperson as he was the one who began. "You... you can't be serious. You don't comprehend...? He's going to melt it down. He will take it apart piece by piece and see to it that everyone nearby is dead. You're worried that we can't handle ourselves? You're worried... that you'll die, perhaps?
"There isn't time for training, unless he's found some beautiful opportunity that just doesn't exist. There isn't time to regroup, there isn't time to work these things out. We're capable of holding a deadlock with him, whatever he makes it look like, and with you folks, we might just be able to tip the balance.
"So it's either sit here, looking pretty, and know we could have at least tried to save... who knows how many, or we could be doing something. Your choice."
