Completely dazed the entire walk, Meeka was apparently lost in her own entire world. Her Pikachu companion became worried about her owner, as the out-of-it Breeder acted as if her soul and body were separated completely. It could have been the sudden change of atmosphere, as there was no utterly fat deer or obnoxiously loud Rocket experiment babbling over her left shoulder.
Staring about, Meeka blinked with her one good eye. She had concealed her bad eye with an eye patch for the trip, to not gross or bother anyone with her appearance. Sighing heavily as she finally came back herself, the breeder laughed as her Pikachu pulled at her cheeks. "It's okay Poji." she said with a laugh. "I am here!"

Nookies ran up to a girl in a grey and red dress with long grey and orange har and look up to her. "Teddi Teddi teddi!" he said looking for food. He held out his hand and point to it and grin. " Teddi teddi teddi!"Leanne began to move faster because there were so many people here and she want to stay be herself.

Kacen shrugged. "A year or two. Mom moves a lot." He frowned. She moved so much that Kacen could barely remember the last city they loved in. "You live hear too? How long." He tried to conjure up another smile. The girl was trying to keep some company, and at least she was keeping him distracted. She was nice. Perhaps he could stick to her side for the duration of camp hell.

Koorie's eyebrow twitched as she heard a 'hey' come from behind her. Reaching the edcge of the group towards the front, right end, she put a bit of distance between herself and the people near her. Carefully, she adjusted the strap on her tank top, taking a deep breath of the hot air.
Miu, took her spot on her right side, closer towards the woods than the group of humans. Her ears perked a little when she heard a human call out and she gave a small look over her shoulder, slightly curious to the noise, but then returned to keeping pace with Koorie.

Pippeh watched the eevee bound off and she turned her attention towards Jaidev. "Now see what you've gone and done. You scared it off. Or bored it. Whichever."
Jaidev personally was glad it was gone, but was also put back by how annoyed her trainer was. It wasn't like she did anything wrong...did she? She thought about this as she watched Pippeh stand up and pack the cookies away.
The trainer heard someone calling for someone, and she turned and saw that it was the trainer of the eevee, Alastair. "If your looking for your eevee I think she ran over to where the trainer with the sneasel is." she called out helpfully.

((I'm amazingly late to the game, it appears, so my first post will be... getting off the bus... yay! 8D))
Black stepped out of the shady bus and onto the tightly packed dirt, holding his hand over his eyes to block the glare of the sun. He was so not used to this. He was a being of shadows, of silence and solitude. And here he was going on summer vacations? What were the higher-ups thinking? He had even attempted some pitiful form of camouflage (his standard attire was always pure black, but he found that such clothing not only made him stick out like a sore thumb when in a large group, but it was far too hot for a summer outing) but refused to get rid of his favorite hat, which he perched upon his head immediately. He felt a strange vibration coming from the bandolier he wore strapped across his chest and looked down to see the lone Pokeball wiggling gently. Sheesh, never should have told the yappy mutt about this trip... he thought to himself as he reached for the Pokeball, releasing his 'new best friend' (as the Agency had told him he would be) Aries the mu- Growlithe. He still hadn't quite gotten used to that bottomless well of energy or his... fondness for licking... things.
Aries danced about in a circle, barking happily as he was once again free from his Pokeball. His new best friend and trainer, Black, just watched him without even a hint of a smile. He knew how to change that, of course! He jumped up once more, landing a soggy tongue right on Black's cheek. Nope, no smile. Just a scowl... Oh well, he was having a blast! So many scents, so many people and Pokemon! He did, of course, keep his nose on the lookout for one scent in particular, but since he didn't smell it yet he decided he might as well see what was up. With another playful bark, he dashed off, zigzagging between trainers and Pokemon alike, followed closely by Black, who did not seem to be enjoying this nearly as much.

Adriel gave her an utter blank look. "Goodbye then." He shrugged and kept on walking, getting ahead of Zinnia. He raised Dan, eh was immune to crocodile tears and pouty puppy dog faces.
Tripod happily snuggled against Adriel's chest once they were leaving the human and her zubat behind.

The air is filled with the increase of inhabitants. Taking another look behind him, he takes note that more trainers have arrived. He can't help but chuckle at their diffrent reactions to the fact that walking is the only option. "A little exercise is good fer anyone.." he mumbles to himself. Musica stretches his arms up and back, poppping his shoulders, and rewinding his arms to rest back in his belt loops and pockets. He was hopeful to get his first companion since he had never had the chance too. Being picky had it's up's and down's.

So it all came down to this. Summer sunshine and a short hike? Amongst the group, a red-head was reminiscing over how things used to work back at her parents' ranch. She had many times hiked along Route 119 in Hoenn just to get to her favorite fishing spot. It was a good time to enjoy the sunshine upon her almost completely bare skin. There was a reason why Phoebe had freckles, and this was one of those reasons. Frequent sun exposure. Oh my gosh! What was this thing?! The redhead's black Growlithe meandered curiously to one side, sniffing as a rock that was along the path."Dakota, leave it!" was the stern response the Pokemon would get from her trainer. Oh phooey! Being a good puppy, Dakota stopped sniffing the rock and moved on, leaving the interesting rock all alone on the path. OH WAIT, THIS NEXT ROCK ALSO SMELLED INTERESTING! The Growlithe scurried from rock to the next rock, not connecting that leaving the first rock meant she'd probably have to leave the next rock alone as well."Dakota, leave it!" Hopefully the whole hike wasn't going to be a training session for her canine "bodyguard." Glancing around, Phoebe looked for someone to talk to. That was half the fun of hiking in a group after all.

She nodded, "A few months. I came here with a friend, Roise. She's nearly finished with Officer Training." It was always so much easier to talk about Roise than to talk about herself. She wondered what it would have been like to move a lot when she was younger. "My parents have never left the town they were born in... I found it rather boring. It's why I left," she said before she could stop herself.

Both trainer and pokemon were minding their own business, but Lila was first to stop and turn to look at the woman who'd started talking, wondering who she was addressing but apparently it was... her? No one ever talked to her but Claire. Blinking confusedly, the Sneasel tilted her head slightly. Becca? Who was-- oh, something.. in her bag. Odd.. ...why couldn't she ride in Claire's bag?
Claire was set to ignore the voice, thinking the woman was talking to someone else, but a quick glance behind her made her stop and turn, walking back to join her pokemon. Well this was... rather odd. "Umm.. Hello," she offered, wondering why this trainer had up and started talking to them both without so much as an introduction. "My name's Claire, and this is Lila." Hopefully that would prompt her to introduce herse--
"Snea!!" Lila flailed a bit as suddenly a pink ball of fluffy mewvee was running around her in circles. Looking up balefully at her trainer with large golden eyes, silently giving her the 'What the hell is going on?' look. But all Claire could do was watch the small fluffy hyper thing in confusion. It was... pink?

Sun, heat and summer weather were things that had never agreed with Cassadaine. This summer. Was no exception, not by a long shot. Pushing her goggles back up on her head, she let out a long suffering sigh and cursed at whatever higher beings that had made her miss out on the chance for a fully...air conditioned bus ride. Of course as a trainer she had no problems with walking. It was just...the sun. Any other day she wouldn't have minded walking. Any other day she would not have been stuck in Zatao during the summer. But of course...being the ever so wonderful sister she was she'd given her brother enough money to get out of this forsaken sun parched land.
A huff and she barely constrained a string of soft curses directed at Alex. She was going to quite plainly kick him all around Zatao when she laid eyes on him next. Now that thought was enough to put a smile on her face. Joy oh joy, the camp was near! Salvation from the merciless heat was hopefully near as well. If not...she was seriously considering finding a way to crawl into a pokeball and curl up until winter came. An annoyed rattle from Yuzuhira's pokeball was enough to squash that thought though.
Daylight was enough to keep the often moody Banette in her pokeball and out of everyone's hair as far as playing pranks and the like were concerned. Though, Cass had been near heartbroken when she'd been forced to choose between her beloved pokemon, and had left Astrel in the care of her younger sister despite the Furret's racket when she'd left. Another annoyed rattle from the pokeball and this time Cass rapped on it. "No use coming out now love. The sun's still up so unless you can produce a raincloud or something of that nature you're better off in there." No response from the banette...but the rattling had stopped so that was possibly a plus.

Throwing the Pikachu up and down as she walked, Meeka laughed as Poji struggled with being sent amidst the air with each toss. As the Pikachu squirmed for her to stop, the Breeder tossed the electric rodent to hard. Meeka only realized her sudden mistake when her Pikachu did not come back down.
Poji went flying, over a sent couple of trainers before latching onto someone's head. The star-marked Pikachu blinked her purple eyes profusely, her pink nose sniffing at whoever she had landed on. Whoever the person was, did not smell like barrels of hay. So who was it?

Running had been a bad idea. Flari slowed her pace. Meh. So what if the trainer was rude? Well, she'd try again. Just a little bit of persistence.
"How's your ninetails doing in this weather?" she asked, curious. You'd think a fire type would be fine, but she had seen some odd things on Zatao, so who knew.

Oh, and now this little Teddiursa was begging for food. She knew the type. They tended to hang around the food stalls at the fair in the hope of scraps, ignoring pleas and threats from their mortified trainers. "What, d'you think I'm made of food?" she said with a grin, thoroughly amused. "Go on, push off. Greedy little beggar."
Turning her attention back to Claire, Grace offered her a slightly more restrained smile. Slightly more restrained. "Grace," she said, by way of introduction. "How my parents thought they could tell that when I was a baby I'll never know, but to their credit I was when I was younger." Like you, she thought but didn't say. She'd maintain she was twenty-something despite the grey hairs now overwhelming the original gingery-gold - but she would add, with keen irony, that she now had...ten, fifteen years of experience.
The fluffy thing only caused her to quirk an eyebrow and grin in amusement. She'd seen stranger things in her time. Travelling with a fair did that for you. It might not make you educated, but it did make you wise.
