"Sure. Which way is the courtyard again?" She hoped that Jocelyn wouldn't brush her off as an idiot. Maybe Jocelyn wasn't such a bad choice after all. She was really pretty nice, once you got through all the aloof manner. She figured that it was just her way of venting her insecurity of being in a different place.

Jasmine walked in today, just as she had the days before. She clutched her bag, hearing its every sound. She had begun to despise the dining hall. All the sound here was so loud, and so meaningless. No one took sound seriously. No one but her. She sighed as she spotted Jocelyn, and took her place across from her. She should ask if they might be able to eat in the courtyard. The dining hall would drive her crazy, the amplified racous. That, or she would have to learn how to quiet the loud talking and laughing sounds so that they didn't interfere so much.

Max quietly stepped into the dining hall. He hadn't eaten much in there yesterday, or at all as far as he could remember. He remembered visiting it once, but only for a short time during his tour of campus. There weren't many people in the hall, just a few people he didn't know. He picked a table and sat in a comfortable blue chair to leave his possesions. He got up and walked up to one of the machines he recognized as where to take his order. "May I have some blueberry pancakes and sausage please?" he asked. He slid his ID card and waited. In a few seconds, there was a tray with his food on it. He sat down at his table and ate silently, occasionally wiping his face with a napkin.

When he was finished, he dumped his tray and left it at the designated area for dirty dishes and trays, and sat back down. He was going to wait for something. He didn't know what, he just was. Soon he was hungry again. He got up and went to the food scanner again. "A bagel with cream cheese and peanut butter, and some coffee too, please," he asked as he slid his ID card once again. It felt nice to have some freedom to get his own meals. He stopped at a table to get cream and sugar for his coffee before sitting down again. He slowly sipped his coffee and waited, taking small bites of his bagel. He liked the atmosphere of the morning in the Dining Hall. Very calm... nothing like at the public schools he was used too. He took a deep breath and sipped some more coffee. He had the feeling he was going to stay here for a while.

"So you hadn't consider even once that I might be tired aswell?Man that is pretty messed up."He went to the cafe line and asked for a burger with fries and a soda.He ate it slowly,when he was done he sat back in his chair."So,what brought you to Ria High anyways?"

"That must be pretty cool,the reason I came here is to control my elements.I can use my elements and use it to change it into an armor that can protect me but I can't control it for so long.It hurts me too much aswell,so thats the reason I am here."He threw away his trash and sat back down.

Fayth walked into the large cafeteria a lot of commotion was going on throughout the room. Conversations on why students had enrolled here to who controlled what kind of element.

Grasping the newly acquired ID card she had received she walked up to a machine and looked upon it in amazement. "Wow I never thought such technology existed...."

Fayth slipped the card into the machine and said, "I'll have some Tomato Risotto and a small salad." "order accepted please wait said the machine. Fayth received her orders and walked over to a table.
