Wolfie sighed and frowned as the scene unfolded in front of her. At least it was just the frame, she thought. As she reached out to take the photo from Yuki, two new comers had entered the room.
Perking up slightly she attempted her best face. "Hi there. Im Wolfie, owner of this place. Feel free to come get warm by the fire, just watch out for the glass...one of the pups had a bit of an accident with a frame." She made an awkward face then looked between everyone in the room. She just didnt know what to do next.

"Hello Wolfie. I'm Bluedemonwolf, just call me Blue and this is Eros." Blue said pointing to Eros, who happened to be standing right next to her. "I think I'll take you up on the offer. It is freezing outside." Blue stated. Blue walks over to fire stepping over the glass. She sits close to the fire trying to get warm but it doesn't seem to work very well. Eros walks over and curls up next to her, sharing his warmth. "Oh, Wolfie, Eros can use telepathy to communicate with us but he seems to be shy around new people." Blue begins to feel warm and moves away from the fire a bit.
Eros makes no move to prove Blue's statment true, but he clings to her. He has no clue who these people and pups are and it makes him slightly uneasy.

Blade blinked for a moment before he slowly made his way around the broken glass and towards the fire. It was just a little strange to him that someone would be so friendly towards a couple of strangers in the house.
"I'm.. Blade.. Nice to meet you?"
There was a bit of uncertainty in his voice as he looked at the other three people in the room. He just wasn't sure if he should be wary of this warm welcome.
But nodding at Blue's comment about the current weather, he spoke up once more.
"And yeah, it's really cold outside."

Wolfie nodded to them both. "Welcome again." She nudged Talencia hoping the girl would introduce herself as well. When there was a silence, Wolfie piped in. "Thankgoodness for an early spring this year. Winter was supposed to be long and brutal, but the forcasters, and the animals mind you, seem to know differently."

"The animals?"
Glancing towards the strangely colored wolves nearby, Blade wondered if they were the ones that were being referred to. The creatures were definitely different from any he had really seen before.
Shaking his head, he just continued to examine the wolves nearby as he thought about where they had come from exactly.

Yuki found a broom and dustpan, and began to clean up the glass. She didn't want any poor pup to get a little too curious and hurt himself. She glanced up at the newcommers and then went back to checking around the area for any stray glass. There was none so she took the dustpan and dumped its contents into the trash can, then went to find her pup, who was still nudging at the new pup.
She found her pup and picked her up and, as if knowing what was coming next, Hakana started to squirm. With a bit of difficulty, Yuki pulled Wolfie's jewels and bangles off of Hakana, causing her to squeal unhappily. Yuki simply rolled her eyes and put Hakana down. "Yup, 'the animals' as in them." She pointed to her indignant moonlit pup for Blade. She chuckled softly and handed the jewlery back to Wolfie. "Here, I didn't want her to mess them up. As if we need any more accidents today."
Hakana grunted indignantly at Yuki then pranced off to check out the new people and the new moonlit wolf. She sniffed around Blade's feet then moved over to Blue. Her ears perked up a bit and her tail started wagging as she circled Eros.

Eros noticed the pup, Hakana, circling him. He moved closer to Blue. Blue noticed Eros clinging to her and moved him towards the pup. Eors didn't know what to do at first but decided to introduce himself to the pup. He began to sniff Hakana's fur, then nuded her a bit. "I'm Eros young one. What do they call you?" Eros thought to Hakana.
Blue noticed his behavior towards Hakana. "Well it look like Eros is getting over being shy. I never would have thought that people would be living in this house. It does not look very safe." Blue said. Just then Blue's stomach let a little roar. "Well it seems that I'm quite hungry. Would you mind pointing me in the direction of the kitchen?" Blue said with a laugh.

Hakana scooted closer as Eros clung to Blue. She didn't seem to care that Eros was a little nervous. She looked up at Blue as she slid Eros back over towards Hakana and wagged her tail as if to say thank you. She must be greatful that someone, besides Yuki, was giving her attention at the moment. Suddenly, she let out a frightened squeal and ran behind blue. She did not understand how Eros had spoken to her...in her head?
Yuki nodded and walked over to Blue and held out her hand. "I'm Yuki and it's nice to meet you. The house is a lot safer than it looks." Thinking back to the trunk and the mysterious pup, she continued. "...and it's a lot more adventurous." Yuki jumped back as Hakana came scurrying behind Blue, then laughed. "I guess Hakana just descovered Eros' telepothy."

Eros didn't understand why Hakana ran behind Blue. He looked at Blue and thought, "Why did she run? Did I think too loud for her?" He walked around Blue to Hakana and laid down next to her. He nuded her gently trying to reasure her.
"You only startled her Eros. I don't think she's used to someone talking inside her head." Blue explained to Eros. Blue stood up as Yuki walked over and shook her hand. "It's nice to meet you too Yuki. I suppose it could be safe but what do you mean by adventurous?" Blue asked. Blue bent down and petted Hakana. "You know Hakana, if you what to answer Eros just think something or talk and he'll hear you." Blue explained. Eros hearing what Blue said wagged his tail in agreement.

While the others were conversing, Blade was just listening somewhat as he looked around the room he was in. Right now, he just wanted to warm up before deciding what he should do from here.
But as he glanced from the others in the common room, to the various objects around, he kept fumbling with the strange stone in his pocket.
He eventually decided to speak up again.
"Just what exactly is this place? It seems... really old," he asked Yuki and Wolfie.

Hakana flinched slightly when Eros nudged her. Hesitantly, she scooted closer and closer to Eros, sniffing a bit. After sniffing around, she decided it was okay. She looked at blue then back to Eros. So all she had to do was talk. That wasn't so hard, she had done it before with Yuki all the time. Instead of words, she let out a soft 'woof' and wagged her tail happily at Eros as if she had accomplished something.
Yuki laughed and shook her head at Hakana. She was so adorable. She looked up at Blue and then to the trunk she and Wolfie had carried into the room. "Well I mean adventurous because earlier we found a curious hole in the floor and an odd moonlit pup, and that old trunk." She pointed to the old trunk that was still propped open.
Yuki turned curiously to Blade. She had almost forgotten he was there. He had been so quiet. "Well..." She thought for a moment. "I'm rather new here as well...I think Wolfie would be able to answer your question better than I would. Afterall it's her house now." She smiled and nodded at Blade.

What a place to live...
Shaking his head to get rid of that thought for now, Blade nodded to Yuki with a slight smile. Though his gaze soon shifted over to the trunk she had mentioned to Blue. Out of curiousity, he leaned over slightly to see if there was anything in it.
"With a place as old as this, I wouldn't be surprised if there were more things hidden under the floor or behind the walls," he said casually.
He then glanced over at Wolfie to see if she had an answer to his previous question.

Wolfie looked confussed for a moment with the bombarding of questions. "Yes, this place used to belong to my Great Aunt Beatrice. Its old and it has lots of secrets. Seems to me that the secrets of the trunk might be something worth looking into." She sat on the floor and thumbed the picture frame.
As if on cue, something tumbled out from between the old photo and the cardboard backing. At first Wolfie assumed it was just a piece of parchment to absorb all the old must and such. But then, she noted, it seemed to have something written on it. With a strange look of confussion, she set the frame down next to her and curled her legs up on the floor.
With a gentle touch, she picked up the paper. It was thin, and light as a feather with a texture such as a natural parchment. Old. Very old indeed. It looked quite similar to that of the letter Bea had left in the desk in the hall. Perhaps it had something to do with it? Things were falling into place. Letter...key...trunk...paper...

Talencia would have introduced herself, but she was busy comforting Tira. The blind bright blue wolf was beside herself. She knew she had caused the crash with her reckless running, and was feeling guilty. "It's alright, darling, accidents happen. Don't you worry about it." Tal ran her fingers repeatedly through Tira's fur, keeping her arms wrapped around the distressed wolf.
"I know you didn't mean to. I'm not upset darling, and you'll know that, if you listen." She waited while the wolf stopped and thought about it. She knew the she-wolf's gift was to know how others were feeling. Right now all Tal felt was a slight vibration of energy from the fright of dropping the picture, and a deep concern for Tira's state of mind. After a moment of listening, Tira licked Tal's face and relaxed. "There now, see? All is well, just as I told you."
She stood and finally turned her attention to the visitors. "Welcome! I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself yet! I am Talencia! It's very nice to meet all of you." She smiled at the telepathic wolf and Yuki's pup, keeping one hand on Tira's head reassuringly.
"And thanks Yuki, for cleaning up my mess." She blushed. "Me and my butterfingers." A flutter of movement then caught her attention, and she turned to see Wolfie picking something up off the floor. "Wolfie? What's that?" Inwardly she wondered... now what?

"I...don't...know?" Wolfie was just as confussed as Talencia was. There had been so much excitement and happening that things were beginning to overwhelm her just a bit. "First the new pup and then this."
Shaking out the piece of parchement, Wolfie instantly came alert. "A MAP!" Wolfie shouted, startling the pups around her as well as many of the owners. "It looks like a map!" Wolfie blundered something inaudible as she scanned over the piece quickly. "Its of the woods outside. Theres a lot of scribblings all over this thing but if you give me a second I might be able to decifer them. Its definitely NOT my aunts writting."
