Hi! biggrin Not like anyone will really read the survey, so basically.. I'm Amber, I'm 18 & from Virginia (living in California for now).. I've been practicing Witchcraft for about 6 and a half years, and studying for over 7. I have my own completely unique belief system, but it has a lot in common with Green and Nature Witchcraft. heart
Real Name: (please, only first names): Amber Magickal Name (if you have one): N/A Physical Features: Hm? Okay.. dyed brown hair, green eyes, pale skin. Age: 18. Birthday: June 10. Zodiac symbol: Gemini/Dragon. Path: Witch, of my own style.. Basically a mix of Nature/Green Witchcraft, and some other practices. Years of Experience: Over 7. Country: USA. Special Area(s): Elements, anything Nature/Green related, gemstones, herbs, colours, most correspondences, meditation, tarot.. I'm pretty well versed with most everything.. (that's what owning over 70 books on Paganism does, though!) Reason for Joining: Because I'd like to meet people that believe atleast something in common with me. Favorite Colors: Red, green, blue. Favorite TV Shows: Monk, Will & Grace. Favorite Band: Malice Mizer. Pets: We have 2 danes (Chaos and Draco) with 3 puppies, a cat (Lucy) and her kitten. Favorite Food Item: Anything seafood. Favorite Books: The Torn Skirt, Echo, Hanged Man, etc. Anything Else?: Not that I can think of,

Hehe, I'm feeling a bit hyper today, don't mind me. Welcome to the family, Amber! =D I really hope that you enjoy yourself here! =D Heh, I just figured the survey was too long to read, since I filled it out pretty detailed. I grew up my entire life in Fredericksburg, but I've also had family near Richmond.. I just recently moved (this month, actually) to California. It's nice but there's not as much green, which really depresses me. As for books, I mostly read books on Green and Nature Witchcraft, my favourites are.. - The Way of the Green Witch by Arin Murphy-Hiscock (this is my newest book on Green Witchcraft, and one of my favourites, it has a lot of information about working with all different parts of plants, herbs, trees, flowers, etc.) - If you want to be a Witch by Edain McCoy (it's a pretty small book but extremely useful for a beginner it's not very biased at all, and includes information on more vague paths, unlike most books that include mostly information on mostly Wicca) - Elements of Witchcraft by Ellen Dugan (this book is for Natural Magic and is specifically geared towards teenagers with lots of really simple spells for all sorts of things teenagers may be dealing with, tons of information about the different elements, too.) - Making Magick for Witches & Pagans by Edain McCoy (this book has tons of information to help anyone beginning working with Natural Magic, it has tons of info about the elements and improving Magical skills, tons of information to help develop spells for almost any purpose) - Green Witchcraft I - III as well as Grimoire for the Green Witch and Green Magic by Ann Moura (probably my favourite series, Ann Moura has _TONS_ of information in her various books, starting with religious beliefs, then working with magic, spell-casting, working with herbs, plants, etc. and even a lot of information about working with Faeries.) - A Witch's Notebook by Silver Ravenclaw (this is my favourite work by her, I also own several others, this one has tons of exercises, practices, and techniques that can be incorporated by almost any Pagan) - Garden Witchery by Ellen Dugan (my second favourite Pagan author, this book is specifically about maintaining and working with the huge well of Magic by gardening, tons of information about the magical qualities of plants, and placement of certain plants and herbs to increase the Magic of any garden) - The Sacred Round by Elen Hawke (this book has tons of information about chakras, elements, and meditation/visualization) - Witchcraft: An Alternative Path by Ann Moura (Another by my favourite author, but this one is perfect for anyone beginning to learn about Witchcraft without wanting any bias, this is also more diverse as far as Witchcraft, since it doesn't really center just in on Green Witchcraft like most of her other books) That's all I can think of right now, since those are basically my most favourite books and are so far.. the only ones I have in California right now (I have a huge bookcase full of books at home, but I haven't been able to afford shipping for them yet, heh.)
