Nich looked at anastaia, and sighed. She was quite the outstanding young woman, but her obsession with deth and vampirism was not healthy. When he saw her grtow uncomfortable he stepped out of his jacket with unnaturl speed. So quick in fact that it was left hanging there as if an invisible man were wearing it. Then he caught it and flourished around her shoulders. It was overly larged for her but he could have cared less, it was the gesture that mattered.

"you'll be cold in that outside, and i belive thats where were having dinner. So lets go, your probably hungry by now."

Anya looked up at him and smiled, nodding. "Thank you."

Arisu hurried to the kitchen to prepare the meal. She wasn't surprised to find the steaks on the counter, figuring that Izzy had pulled them out. She quickly went about preparing the steak, not holding her speed back.

Lost in thought and only following the crowd, Willow drifted vaugly after the others headed outside. She was trying to follow along with what everyone was doing, attempting to keep up with the conversations, but her mind was focused on the strange feeling in her chest and on a strange call from her mother that morning warning her not to go on any vacations. She should've trusted her mother, she knew that, the woman knew far more about Wicca and the more mysterious side of life than she did, but as much as Willow wanted to believe that something strange was going on she couldn't bring herself to accept it.

He put his hand gently in the center of her back, and pushed doftly to motion she should move. after walking into the garden he stared around to appreciate just what kind of situation he was in. There were a bunch of vampires here co-existing to humans who knew all about them.

"I wonder whats for dinner? I can only hope they serve it fresh.... and raw."

He said this last part with a wink to anastasia.

Baylor then re-entered the main hall where he had first come into the mansion. Looking around, he went down the hall, looking for possibly another person. But so far he hadn't seen anyone except himself in a couple mirrors. "Everyone's probably down in the living room or kitchen... or mabye it's an outside party," he said to himself. His stomach growled slightly. "Man... Gotta find them so we can eat soon..."

User ImageZane couldn't help but smile as the others started to admire his work.
it had been a long time since he had put this much effort into impressing a crowd, and for once it seemed to work out nicely.
"Seems the theme works nicely" He thought while looking around from face to face. Though he did eventually stop when his eye caught something odd to him. The only person not seeming to enjoy, let alone look over his glorious creation.
He then shrugged and slowly, stood up, and walked towards her.
"Willow was it?" Zane's voice seemed to come out of thin air as he suddenly tapped Willow on her shoulder from behind. "Do you not find the decoration interesting?" his voice seemed sugar coated as he spoke. Evident that Zane's charm was working its way out more and more with each second, that and the fact that his emerald eyes seemed to shimmer in the candle lights.
Only the other vampires would know it wasn't the candles but that his eyes were actually shimmering due to his ability to charm.
In truth it couldn't be helped, when darkness came he couldn't control his ability to charm others, and often he did it without realizing he was doing so.

Willow jumped in surprised and half stiffled a scream before she turned, her eyes wide with shock and she was pulled abruptly from her thoughts. "Oh, I...", and she stopped that train of thought for a brief moment as she looked at him, and then cheeks flushed red and hot she swallowed hard and picked her train of thought up. "Yes. I'm Willow... and I... I was just kinda zoned out..." She admitted rather meekly, while mentally she was a hamster on a wheel, trying to figure out how exactly she'd managed to get caught in her new situation.

Anya held back a laugh. She walked with him, admiring the garden. It's absolutely beautiful." She gasped.

User Image"zoned out? i guess this place would have that kind of effect to a new comer." he smiled and placed his arms behind his back in a childish manner.
"Me Ive lived here "all my life" more or less." his tone of voice had settled into a casual tone but he had placed a great emphasis on the "all my life" part of his sentence.
"So Willow" he paused for a moment as if choosing his words wisely "That is a unique name, whats the story behind it?"" he then brought his left arm from behind his back and placed his index finger on his lower lip. "Oh and don't worry, as long as you had no say in your name I wont laugh" the smile that followed after that seemed sincere enough to believe he wasn't lying.
For a moment after that though he seemed transfixed on her eyes, his own shimmering emerald eyes seemed to be peering strait into her soul. this of course was not true, Zane just felt he could read someone better if he watched their eyes.

Face hot and eyes wide with surprise and shock, Willow squirmed slightly under the gaze. She normally handled herself so well, was so composed and considered the most mature nineteen year old that most people had ever dealt with. Those eyes though, there was something about them that left her feeling flustered and warm inside, and though she hated the reaction people had over her name she actually explained, rather against her will. "Dad loves puns, he makes them every chance he gets, and since he and Mom are both Wiccan they felt the name fit me better..." She trailed off and tried to avert her eyes but failed, so instead she laughed slightly; she did like her name after all, and she was just as fond of puns as her dad. "Willow Wood."

User Image"It is actually a cute name" Zane stated suddenly with a smile.
At that point he broke his gaze and looked upwards briefly.
though he would of never admitted to it he did actually embarrass himself a bit, it seemed even he wasn't use to his own charms come nightfall.

"Oh!" He then exclaimed, his head jerking back down and his eyes back to hers. This time his expression was bound to be intense." I haven't ever told "you" my name"The way he put an emphasis on "you" made it seem as if he knew thousands of people, which wasn't far from the truth
" and here i am blabbering on about god knows what." he rubbed the back of his neck and shrugged as he apologized.
"nothing fancy, or interesting, but my name is Zane Kation: Red Wood Mansion Resident." He took a step back and bowed. Truthfully he hadn't realized how close he was standing to her, personal space never was his strong point.

" I do believe my last name may sound a bit archaic but i rather like it so i never changed it"
he sighed slightly knowing full well he couldn't be truth full about that story.
So far though he had kept his word and had not so much as snickered about her name, all he had made was the one comment

Willow smiled in response to the compliment to her name, something a bit rare since most people were either laughing or giggling if they gave her any compliment on her name. She really neded to calm herself, though, the guy was having the oddest effect on her, and it increased when he introduced himself. However, a bit of Willow's personality managed to seep through the daze she was caught in, and without much thought the words passed through her brain and out her mouth, "Your name isn't the only thing archaic; I've never seen anyone bow outside of a historical romance chick flick."

He smiled down at her, her sparseyears limited her knowledge, but made her appreciate things so much more.

"No... the hanging gardens were beuatiful, before we destroyed them of course. Even ruined after years of neglect, they were still an amazing sight to behold, far greater than these wonders of the modern world."

He sighed at her and smiled. He felt like he was ruining her fun.

Dimitri stopped playing and looked back at the house. People seemed to be gathering for some sort of out door party. He pulled his headphones down around his neck and turned his portable amp off. He stood and brushed some grass off his pants and walked back to the house.
