Vienna applauded the woman, "Bravo dear. I don't know how you did it, but you managed a complete resurrection... However... I believe he has no memory?" she got up and walked down the stairs and knelt beside her, "Is there anything i can get you?"

Oriana turned to see him dive off the bridge, "Damn..." She growled, her fists clenched tight enough to make her tremble.

Damir wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead, "Let's get you inside, love. You need a good dose of healing."

Oriana leaned into her father's chest and began crying again, "Is anything ever going to be the same?"

Hali stood up and stretched, "What happened... Why am I out here...?" She looked around and saw she was at home, "Oh! Miu told me to come home because something happened... then Auren... oh no..." she looked up at her sister crying in her father's arms and frowned, "I'm so sorry Oriana..."

Damir pulled his other daughter to her feet and kissed her forehead, "Everything will be alright... It'll take some time, but we'll all recover."

The trio started walking back into the house, then Oriana pushed away from them, "I'll be right back... i need to grab something."

Damir released her and nodded, "We'll be inside."

Oriana limped to the end of the bridge and watched as the ice pulled the sword to the surface of the block, and released it form it's grasp.

Oriana slid to the ground and took the sword from the block. looking at her reflection, she stroked the sword and smiled.

Damir and Hali came in, dripping wet from the storm that Oriana had started at the beginning of the battle, and exhausted.

Vienna stood up and smiled, "What shall we do with this young man here?"

Hali started crying when she saw the corpse again and leaned into her father's chest as he pulled her close.

Damir smirked, "I'll wrap him up for now, and bring him downstairs in one of the spare rooms, till tomorrow. Then we'll give him a proper burial." He released his daughter and went to go grab a sheet from one of the closets.

Vienna walked over to Hali and gave her a hug, "Where's your sister?"

"Outside..."

"Is she alright?"

Hali nodded and clung to her mom, "I'm not... Everyone's dying! hell, Auren just went to the moonlight organization and told the remaining people that everyone's dead... but him, now everyone is dead!!!"

Vienna brushed through her daughter's hair, "Now now love, Everything will be fine... Let's go to your room... I'm sure seeing his corpse isn't going to make anything easier for you."

Hali and Vienna walked up the staircase to the north wing, and into hali's room, where they conversed and caught up on things.

Oriana hobbled back across the bridge, barely able to lift the heavy blade, but not allowing herself to let it touch the ground. her body trembled from the stress, and nearly gave out a few times.

She managed to make it back inside, where she saw her father, and a wrapped up corpse that was the man she loved.

Closing her eyes for a moment and holding back the tears. she took a moment to do her best to compose herself, then opened her eyes and smiled, "I'll................ Be up in my room." she finished her sentence quickly and staggered up the stairs as quick as her body would allow; sword still in hand.

Damir sighed and looked down at the corpse. scooping it into his arms he carried the body down the stairs and into one of the rooms, then put a light frost around the room, to preserve the body for the night. flipping off the light, he closed the door and locked it.

Damir came back upstairs scratching his head, and realizing how sore his body really was. "Damn, I could really use a massage about now..." he groaned while rounding the corner to go up the grand staircase.

He paused half way up and paled slightly from what he thought he saw out of the corner of his eye. Turning around, he blinked a few times and paled, "What the......" he turned and faced the man standing in his entryway, "There can't be another one of you... hell you already have a son that looks like you... and i just put your damned corpse in a guest room downstairs till morning, so.... how the hell are you breathing and standing before me?"

Damir rolled his eyes and sighed, "And do you think my wife can tell me anything?!" he slumped a bit further, then felt a pop in his back and instantly straightened, due to pain, "Well..... Oriana's in her room, and Hali and Vienna are in Hali's room... I'm sure i can safely assume you know where everything is... And now i need to go sleep." he shuffled up the stairs and down the hall, holding his back the whole way to his room.

Vienna sat on the side of Hali's bed, while braiding her daughters hair, ".... So is this guy cute..."

"Well, He's unlike any other guy i've dated..." hali laughed a bit, "And i wouldn't exactly say he's "cute"... he's not exactly the "cute" type..."

"Ooooooh, so you're finally dating a man out of his teens!" Vienna scooped her daughter into her arms, "It took fifty years, but i think you're finally growing up!"

Hali rolled her eyes and pulled out of her mom's arms, "Mom....."

"Well, what i'm saying is true sweetheart. It took you fifty years to go after someone more... your age."

She slumped and mumbled, "He's still younger than me..."

"How much?!"

"I don't know!" she smiled and straightened her back, "But i still look younger than him!"

Vienna returned to braiding her hair and smiled, "well, that's a start... So, what's his name?"

"Kaiser..." she looked into the mirror in front of her to see the sad expression on her face, "But i don't think we share the same feelings..."

"Wha- why did you get my hopes up then?!" Vienna groaned as she stopped braiding, "Why wouldn't he like you?"

"I don't know..." Hali turned and faced her mother, "He just..... I thought he liked me... then i went to the camp, and now he intimidates me beyond belief... hell, i'm afraid to breathe around him, but i try to remain normal, and upbeat." she looked at her hands resting in her lap and sighed, "... Not to mention he's going through a hard time as well."

Vienna kissed her cheek, "We'll all make it through..."

Oriana rested Auren's sword in the corner of her room, and limped over to her bed. she got one leg up quite easily, but it was the other she had to try and lift with her arm and the pain was excruciating.

She finally got it up and slipped her first aid kit from her night stand drawer. laying a long white cloth down under her knee, she made the ice slip into her body and cried out in pain.

pressing the cloth into her wound she sat there with her forehead to her knee and cried; for the pain, for auren, for the stupid a** son that she should have been killed by.

After a few moments of softly cursing to herself, Oriana bandaged her wound up and elevated it on two pillows, took some pain natural pain killing capsules, and laid down to go to sleep, knowing this would be a terribly long and lonely night.

as oriana closed her eyes she recalled all the time she had spent with him. It didn't even come up to a year... not even half a year.

A good hour had passed since she had bandaged her leg, and since the medicine had basically numbed it she couldn't feel a thing, so when she got up out of bed to get a drink, and ended up tumbling out and cracking her head on her night stand... she wasn't very happy.

Now, not only was her head throbbing from getting hit with that dagger... she was now bleeding from the impact of hitting the table. Oriana wrapped her arms up around her head and began cursing and crying, but tried to muffle them since it was the middle of the night.

Why me..., she sobbed as she slammed her free hand against the floor in frustration.

Unable to care, and unwilling to move, Oriana slid the sheet onto the ground and curled up for the night.

Unable to open her eyes from the blinding pain pulsing through her head she did her best to calm her voice by taking a few deep breaths and stopping her crying, "I'm sorry for making so much noise... I'll be fine... just... leave me alone please..." the tears came again as the day passed though her mind again, "It's... been a long, long day..."

"You were there! There was the fight between that damned child and his pheromones, and i tried to help but ended up making things worse... so i sent a warning up to Yukon... by the time I... I opened my eyes.... he was leaving, and A-Auren..... Auren's arm was.... And blood... And I didn't know what to do... I tried to stay calm, but i couldn't."

Oriana was nearly hysterical just talking about it, but also reliving it to an extent, "Then I tried... So hard, but he died... And..." she bit her lower lip and held her breath, her eyes still clenched shut, "I was so angry.... I picked up the sword, and said that either i will die or he will... then... pain... everything was on fire. my shoulders were torn from the weight of a sword, the back of my leg was cut... I almost killed him... twice!" Her body shook with rage, "But they stopped me.... Hali, papa... they let him go...."

wincing through the pain she pulled both legs up to her chest and sobbed into her knees, "I just wanted to die.... so bad.... why... I was never trained on how to wield a sword... Why did i live?!"
