From under the rubble, rocks shifted and Skollozeir stood up from under the mess. It's eyes flashed red briefly in the dark of the tunnel and It heard scraping as Noreen dug herself out too. "The great god Azeois?" Darkness echoed, scoffing slightly. "You and he are both young. Young. Confident. And most annoyingly so, cocky." It ground out the words from between clenched before calming down. "You call me a fool, Mab Flann, yet you have absolutely no idea of the power before you. Though, now I am weary, even from this small effort. I have been asleep for far too long." Darkness gave a sigh, and passed a hand over Skollozeir's face tiredly. Then It gave control back to Skollozeir, retreating through the stone's link back to It's resting place. Skollozeir wobbled in place, then placed a hand on the tunnel wall to steady himself, immensely drained.
Oliver bit back all of the questions that sprang to his mind an tongue. He could smell flowers, and hear birds chirping around him, so that meant the first man had brought them outside the maze. The sun must have been setting also, because he felt it's rays' fading heat. The boy felt Gue move up beside him, comforting him. Instead, Oliver decided to ask the simplest question that he could think of. It would solve a lot of things he'd been wondering about. "When are we going to make camp?"

"Come now Oliver I'm sure what you really wish to ask is what happened correct? Be honest. Oh and we're not setting camp until we are much further away from this place. We must make many miles before night is in full bloom." Strider sat down and took a breather. It was a close encounter.

Noreen glared at Skollozeir as It basically told her off. Flipping the birdie when his back is turned, she proceeded in digging herself out. She went to stand only to collapse to her knees with a muffled grunt of pain from between clenched teeth and lips. A particularly large bolder managed to catch her leg, causing it to break. She may be a hell demon, but she can still break bones.
The vampire had to carry Brianna once the flames died down, the half-goddess still trembling in fear from the whole ordeal. When Strider sat down, he couldn't help but sweatdrop a bit at this because of what he said before sitting down. "Says the one kicking his feet up..."

Not even a second had passed before Strider had disappeared. "Also says the one who can teleport himself around the planet at will. Do not doubt me vampire for not once have I led anyone astray as long as I was with them." Strider had appeared behind the vampire and smiled as he had jumpped back. "Now if you would be kind enough we must move quickly. I fear our enemies are not dead and retrobution will be swift and I'd like to get as many miles away from this place before I feel safe. Come follow closely as I shall be swift." Strider cast a spell and he slowly lowered to all fours as he changed and once complete he had the appearance of a large red timber wolf. It sat there for a moment panting unitl it turned and began to trot away.

((Dun nuh nuh nuh~! LoZ reference right thar.))
Skollozeir turned his now normal, bloodshot blue eyes to look at Noreen. She was clutching her leg, and it looked like she had broken it. "Heh heh, Norie-worie, you didn't dodge fast enough." He chuckled half-halfheartedly, the weak sound echoing. "C'mon, let's go, let's go. Need to get back to Lord Desi. I have a fast way, easy way, to get there, if we get out of this maze first." Then he extended his hand not holding the onyx slab towards her in an uncommonly kinder gesture. He seemed to have had something brought back from the time before he'd become a madman.
Oliver was a little shocked at how the man had known his name. And even more the fact that earlier he'd said he was a god. Gue nudged his shoulder, not liking the scent the man gave off when he turned into a wolf. The boy gave a sigh and climbed on his back, thinking hard about the events that had happened in so short a time. "Fine then, if we are not making camp until later, then I'll ask another question. Who are you guys, I mean, in this group? And how many of you all? I don't know you, yet at least one of you seems to know my name." Gue tossed his head as he padded after the red timber wolf, curious also.

"My name is Strider though I am more commonly known as Azeois God of Magic. I am one of the seven high gods who created the universe." The wolf form spoke without using it's mouth. "I do know your name Oliver. I know several things about you and your companion." Strider trotted around a large tree as the exited the plains and entered a dense forested area.

Skollozeir quickly grew impatient of waiting for Noreen to take his hand. The instant that he'd shown a different side was gone in the blink of an eye, and the more commonly known him was back. He grabbed her hand instead and yanked her to a standing position, ignoring her gasp of pain. "Now, come on, come on! Let's go already!" He left her to lean against the wall, and waved a hand when he passed the Raylore shaking the rubble off it's back. "Bye Raylore! Hope you have better luck with the next ones who come in here!"
Oliver nodded slowly, not realizing that the man, Strider now, was a wolf instead of in a human form. "A god...really?" Gue gave a soft snort, looking all around the new forested place. The boy had never met a god before, who had? "Okay then, that explains that...Well, how many are in the group? You never answered me there, and Gue (pronounced as Goo) isn't able to tell me, right?" Gue shook it's head regretfully, though it could easily turn into a third form, it preferred not to.

Noreen glared at him as he teased her. "Shut up. Like you couldn't move any..." But when he held his hand out to her, her smart, witty remark died in her throat. That was... Unheard of. Normally, he would leave her to fend for herself. She was about to reach out top his hand when he got impatient and grabbed it himself, pulling her to her feet. Gasping in pain, she clenched her eyes along with her teeth as she proceeded to glare at him. "I'm going to murder you one of these days..." She hissed evilly at him.
The vampire went over to the blind boy before responding, "Three. There's the god, first, then the girl, then me... For a time at least. I don't know how long I should stay with you all."

((*Kay, that just sounds weird, lol.))
Skollozeir heard Noreen's remark and turned on his heel to face her, standing a good 11 feet away. He brought his hand up to his forehead in a quick salute and grinned insanely at her. "*You can try, Norie, try hard, very hard." He turned back away from her, but slowed his pace so she could possibly limp over to him. "You know, you remind me of someone. Who, though?" He thought for a moment. "Ah! You remind me of her! Of that woman!"
Oliver nodded and turned his face in the direction that the voice had come from, smiling gratefully. So, the whole group consisted of two men, a woman, and him and Gue. 4 people, and one...panther/stuffed animal. That cleared some things up for him. "Thank you. Who are you, then? And the girl, well, she sounds older than a girl, maybe a young woman?"

Coupled with the wall and her fire staff, Noreen managed to hobble over to Skollozeir, glaring at him all the while. "What the f*ck are you babbling about, you idiotic moron? Who the hell do I remind you of?"

"Of her, that's who, helly-welly demon!" Skollozeir said with a cackle and patted Noreen hard on the back, walking ahead again. "But you don't know her, or knew I should say. Knew as in the past, not the future, definitely not the future. No, she doesn't have a future, not anymore. We used to be a couple, all lovey dovey and mushy." He nodded to himself, remembering.

Strider kept going forward. "Her name is Brianna and she is my niece." It was starting to get very dark and the moon was starting to rear over the hills. "Now tell us about yourself Oliver. I'm sure everyone would like to know."

Oliver ran his hand through Gue's fur, noting the declining temperature in the air. "It's not much, really. I grew up in a nice town, with my family. I went blind when I was about 6 or 7. A few years later, I think my house was burned down, and I've been wandering by myself so far. Except for Gue, I got him for a birthday present when I was 4, when he stayed as a stuffed animal." Gue perked his ears up at this comment, curiosity filling him. "I did find out later that he wasn't a stuffed animal. But going on, I've been searching for someone since I lost my home."

Noreen 'oof'ed when she was patted on the back, before glaring up at him. "What? I don't even get the name of this old significant other of yours?"
The vampire looked down at the blind boy, Brianna having fallen into a peaceful sleep as soon as the moonlight touched her skin. "Do you know who exactly you're looking for?"

"Who are you searching for?" Strider had stopped on top of a large hill some miles away from the city. "We can stop here for tonight." Strider transformed back into human and conjured some firewood. He lifted his staff and jabbed the end of his staff at the firewood and fire erupted from the staff catching the wood on fire. "Now who are you searching for again?"
