Accepting the cloth Akira jumped to her feet, she ran back to the water's edge to dampen the rag. Finally, something she could help with. she made sure the dag was nice and cold before wringing out most of the water and returning to the camp sight. "Here you are Ewan." she said handing it to him again.

Calisto remained unconscious till it seemed finally consciousness caught up to her. A slight moan escaped her lips, but she was pale from the blood loss as she had not had time to recover any blood yet from the attack. She was glad though that she had drank an antidote or the poison on the dagger might have likely killed her.

"Hi there. Welcome back Calista." Alex said as he saw her eyes open. He was really worried to be honest considering the dagger was poisoned. She quaffed something before it struck so perhaps she was alright. "You just went through a tragic event. Try not to overexert yourself alright."

Calisto gave a weak nod. She was tired from the blood loss still. “Alright. I hope the antidote worked though.” She looked at Alex. She wanted to hug him and anyone else that helped save her but she couldn’t move as she lay there. Her eyes instead closed back as she fell asleep.

"It worked just fine," replied Ewan with his usual smile. "There wasn't a trace of poison in your system." Smiling as Calisto drifted off to sleep, he added, "Rest for now, dear. You earned it."
The angelic healer rose to his feet and addressed Alex. "I'm curious, Alex, where did that dagger come from?"

"It all happened so fast. If the dagger were not real I would have thought it a strange dream." Alex said thinking back. "A woman suddenly appeared and next thing I know she stabbed Calista maliciously while saying something like now you will sleep eternally or something like that."

Calisto would eventually open her eyes, but she was still very tired. She hadn’t had time yet to fully recover, but she could not sleep anymore. She felt exhausted as she looked between Akira, Alex, and Ewan. She couldn’t figure who to hug first as she looked at them. Her body was so tired. “How long have I been out?” That was her first question as she looked at her arm. It had dried blood on it as she knew that she would need to enter the lake to clean the area where the blood was, but she didn’t have the strength to tell them this or use the spirits to wash the wound off.

Ewan thought for a moment. "So," he said, " we have an unknown assassin. From what you have told me, I imagine we haven't seen the last of her."
As Calisto awoke, he smiled that sage smile once again. "Not long," he replied. "Maybe a few minutes." The healer looked down at the dried blood on his patient's arm and knew exactly what to do. Ewan took the wet rag and gently wiped off the crimson liquid. "There you go," he added with a grin, "all cleaned up!"

"Welcome back!" Akira said giggling as she tilted her head to the side a little, her long hair falling over her shoulders. "Are you feeling hungry, thirsty?" She asked wanting to help.

“Tired…just tired…but I can’t sleep anymore.” Calisto would look between the trio trying her best to see them. Her entire body said it wanted rest, but she could not sleep. She still felt in danger somehow. Her own weakness from being in a sleep for so long could be for that. Why did that woman attack her? It made no sense to her. She just wished that it didn’t happen at all. “Perhaps thirsty…”

Alex took out a canteen out and held it before Calista's lips.
"Here ya go Calista. When you are ready I will pour water into your mouth." Alex said as he readied himself.

Calisto would open her mouth and nod as she was ready. Her weakness was evident and she hated it. The lack of blood was showing in her. She was pale and it could be seen. She hoped it wasn’t too present as she closed her eyes for a bit.

Alex slowly poured the water into her mouth so she did not accidentally choke on the liquid. Alex focused on Calista's face to regulate water flow and his face turned slightly red as he would see her lips pressed against his canteen lips. After a few minutes the canteen was emptied and Alex pulled it away.
"How are you doing now? Do you need more water?" Alex asked concerned.

“I’m fine now. I’m just tired. I think my body needs time to recover.” She looked at him carefully and smiled. She was glad to have great friends as she reached up to touch Alex’s face. She couldn’t move much more than this as she moved her arm back to her side and closed her eyes again. She was tired, this was true as she began to fall asleep again this time because her body demanded it.

My, my," Ewan began with a smile, "Calisto is quite the lucky young lady. Not only has she escaped death, she has three nice people to take care of her."
He returned to the fireside to check on the fish. Much to his surprise, they were still warm. The angel surmised that the fire spirit was keeping them that way.
Ewan returned with the fish, setting them down gently. "There's no sense in starving ourselves while we watch over her," he said, his tone quite motherly. "Please, eat, and save some for Calisto when she wakes up."
