Savith looked over to Fathom with a decidedly bored sort of politeness to his face. Even a smile that was no where near being pleasant, he replied in a soft voice that was drowned out by Dewpaw's ramble, "I shall strive not to, Cousin. Thank you for your great concern." Indeed, her tail drew up water to splash him, and though he closed his eyes and turned his face, he failed to react in any other way. Instead, he turned back toward Blaze, his smile turning into a rueful grin as yet another chuckle escaped his throat. **Ear-nipping leads to friendships. I shall have to remember that.**

Peyote smiled further as Creek wrapped his arm about her, giggling as he stole another strawberry. "Hey now," she chirped before he offered her the piece. It only made her giggle more and she leaned toward it to take her bite. After a moment, she grinned and winked and said, "Wanna dance?" heart

Though she tried hard to pay attention only to your Dew Fathom found the send of Blaze and his little hot dart to her mind a great distraction. Quietly she said to Dew as she touched the animals nose lightly. "Oh minnow he is a fine creature." Then she looked at Blaze. "Don't point your hot little mind darts at me or you will need cooling off." Just at that moment a slightly big and localized wave washed up and whaled Blaze. If Savith happened to get a bit drown as well so be it. Then she looked back at DewPaw. "What did you call the animal again minnow?" as if nothing just happened.

Sitting near the fire Autumn was talking to Blaze till he got up and walked away. Her eyes drifted around to everyone there. She smiled seeing Pey and Creek. More new life was a good thing. She said a little prayer to the High Ones that the child might have Creek Runners good sense and ability to send... She heard the little sends that flittered around as she gnawed on her bit of meat. She to had a noticed Llune go running as well but when she soon returned she let the matter go. When the wave washed in though she jumped to her feet. More surprise then anything and came over to be sure everyone was fine or if either of them needed help in any way. *Everything ok over here?*

Crosscurrent had noted the Glider near Fathom, not exactly pleased, but not going to do more then lock-Send to Fathom even as Dancer teased him. A simple feeling as one would a hand on the shoulder (comfort/support/protective) as he kept his eyes on Dancer. Silently offering the other Wavedancer to join them...
"You haven't seen some of the 'fish' out here," he teased Dancer.

Yes, this seems like a good time, and so Llune rises again, moving lightly off to return with a basket of jingley things on her hip, choosing one out at a time to hand to different members of the group. Peyote, and Creekrunner are served first, as they are nearest the resting place of her basket. Then Zayn.
Then the little cluster of Savith, Blaze, Dewpaw, Airana and Wolf, Llune pulling out one of the 5 (yes she's made one for the wolf) noise-makers for each of these folks. In the fading Llight Llune fails to notice that anyone's wet until she has arrived, and then simply assuming they had taken a swim like Dancer was... Apparently still doing. As Llune arrives at the group she greets them all, **Clear skies and sweet waters my friends! Won't you accept these gifts of merry-making?** she asks at large, holding a jingley-thing out to whoever was nearest her.
And as she handed out the gifts, Llune locksent to the healer, **Will you dance tonight my dear? I've made us instruments to carry the music further!** The send is light and inviting, as though it's just natural at these things for Dancer to, well, Dance.

Tidalwave took his offered instrument with a warm smile and a soft "Thank you." Looking it over carefully as it made just a little nose. Finding that if his movement was sharper the noise was louder. In time he looked out over the water and saw Crosscurrent and his "Otter" had not joined everyone else yet. A light grin touched his features as his eyes then moved to Fathom. She seemed happy enough talking to young Dewpaw. He was impressed that she wasn't slapping the glider with her tail and trying to be nasty like she was with Llune.

Dancer giggled softly at Crosscurrents comment. "And you have no idea how determined and stubborn a ct can be when she sets her claws into something." Giving him a little wink as she enjoyed his closeness. The feel of his flesh against hers was nice and the sway of his tail would brush against her from time to time. Hearing Llunes send her mind called back *We will be along in time and yes if it pleases everyone I would be happy to dance.* Her eyes never left her Fishy company. His green pools were always a joy to stare into. "Will you dance with me as well this time my tricky little fish?" Her nose rubbing lightly against his. She would never call him such a thing unless they were alone. It was her term of endearment for him alone.

Savith sputtered as the wave hit him, eyes closing fast against the stinging salt water. Wiping the water out of his eyes with a hand, he frowned at Fathom, eyes opening into narrowed flecks of green. **That was highly uncalled for, Cousin,** he replied in chilled tones.

Creek stared at Peyote for a moment, wondering if she was serious. His quiet nature wasn't just in his voice. He was reserved, usually leaving the dancing and such to his sister. Dancing just wan't him. Hunting. Finding water (something pretty unecesary here). Even cooking. Those things he did, but he was never one for dancing.
"You dance and I'll be amazed," he said after accepting the noise-maker from Llune. A slight blush had risen on his cheeks, but he ignored it and began to smack the noise maker against his palm (assuming its some kind of clacking-device or somthing like tamerene- spelling way wrong).

And Llune wanders up to the little cluster at the edge of the water, just in time to hear Savith send to Fathom. Uh oh. Llune looks back and forth between the soaked Savith and Blaze, and the waterelfess. But Fathom wouldn't, would she? I mean, Llune didn't get splashed when she met her... But Tidalwave said she could move water... Oh dear, perhaps it's time to intervene.
Clearing her voice and putting on a wide smile, Llune says lightly, to anyone who cared to listen, "Let's not be grouchy now... There is music to be made!" and she punctuates this thought with a musical tinkle from one of the noise-makers. Oh no, gotta make sure everyone at the party is happy!!
Stepping to the water's edge, she holds one out for Fathom, "This one is for you," she says, handing the peculiar instrument out to the elfess, "I hope that you like it..." she says hopefully. It looks like a pretty bundle of shells with little pearl-like beads on strings that clack around the inside of the shells. It's very pretty, the shells outside and inside are scorched black, with fine silken thread keeping a small, hollow, white stone bead between the shells. Each shell is attached to the end of a strong, finely woven thin rope made of seaweed, about 15cm long that attaches at the handle with a cluster of these tiny hollow beads to conceal the attachment point. The handle is likewise tightly woven thin seaweed rope, wound with a bit of silken thread but only as much is necessary to decorate it - silken thread is quite hard to come by, afterall, especially now. It's an absolutely gorgeous piece of whatever the heck it is, and almost irresistibly intriguing - It almost *makes* one want to touch it.
((BTW, everyone who gets one of these can make up an item of equal quality, but not *quite* as beautiful - Llune made this one special for Fathom. They can be pretty and all, but this one is supposed to be THE prettiest one.))
Llune locksends to the Fathom alone, **I do hope that this peace offering is better than the tea from before, dear Fathom. I know there is little that can be done to atone for the past, but truly I hope that you will accept what goodness can be extended for now and the future.** Llune's deep gray eyes linger on Fathom's for but a moment longer, meaningfully, pointedly, as if to say, "seriously, I mean it - no more bad stuff ever, not on my watch."
If Fathom takes the gift, Llune smiles at her warmly before turning toward the others. If Fathom doesn't, Llune smiles sadly for a split-second before turning away and being as outwardly happy as possible to distract from dropping the instrument into the bottom of the basket.
She turns to the others, smiling brightly, only a moment having passed since saying "I hope that you like it," and that caring look. Any hint of that moment is masked completely by the ancient glideress's light, sing-song voice as she says "And this one's for you, and this one's for you..." as she continues to pass out each personally made noise-maker to each person.
To her son, she locksends only a sense of support and steadying, rather like a gentle, calming hand on the shoulder.

Blaze, sodden through and through, was the picture of disgust. Even his ears drooped. He pulled his boots off and poured the water out of them, and sat there steaming in the most literal sense, the surrounding air cooling preceptively as he wapped himself in a blanket of hot air. He would dry soon enough, but the stick of dried saltwater, and the smell; it would irritate him untill he bathed again. **Bloody fish. Have you no self controll, or will you be content to throw sand in my eyes like a spoilt cub?** The locksend boiled with sudden distaste, the taste sickening in his mouth. **If it were not for the moment, I would already be at your throat. Don't tempt me further, and I may forive you by the end of the night, but push me farther and you'll be needing Dancer's services.**
Rising quickly and stalking over to the fire, he laid his boots out where they might dry and stared murderously into the flames, eager to keep a distance between the wavedancer untill his unruly mood steadied. However, he managed a carefully humorous respond to Savith. **But there's a fine line between nips and bites, eh?**

Hearing Saviths send Autumn looked over at the wavedancer. Her hands clenched and she growled lightly in her mind. How dare this mixed up creature soak the near High One and her best fighting companion. Autumn was beside herself as she made her way right into Fathoms face, looked her right in the eyes and sent, *If you ever EVER try to hurt any of my pack again so help me I will haul you out of the waters and give you to the healers cat to eat. They did nothing but invite you to enjoy what little we have and this is how you show your thanks?* She threw her hands up and grumbled. *Uppity creature. Think you're better then the rest of us.* With that said she walked back over to Savith. *Are you alright my Chief?*

Tidalwave had been watching Llune up to the moment the fire haired elfess got in Fathoms face. The tall elf stood and made his way to her side but by then Autumn had walked away. A hand came to Fathoms shoulder and he looked down at her. His mind gently touching hers in locksend. *I am here should you have need.* Then with a slight glance in Autumns direction he said openly. "No one will be taking you anywhere you do not wish to be so long as I have breath in my body."
His hand lightly stroked her hair as again he sent to only Fathom. *But that was a bit much no? Try to show them you are better then that. Try to let things wash off you like the water does.* With that said he looked back to Llune and smiled. "I hope things smooth out from here on. It seems the night is rocky. Perhaps some music will do us all some good." He shakes his noise maker that he was given.
