My parents don't really have anything against any of the bands I listen to, especially Linkin Park. They love the fact that pretty much the worst they will hear in any of my songs is someone yelling "Shut up" or something. Then again, I listen to bands like Queen too, so my parents no what music I listen to won't influence me very much.... O.o;

U wont believe this but my Mom loves LP and hard to believe LIMP BIZKIT!!!! My dad hates them. He thinks its just sum1 screaming.

i think it's just for the fact that it's loud and it dosn't calm down at least thats why my parents hate it.

some parents think that anything that talks about the things lp talks about can't be good. lp sings about all these emotional things, but alot of prudish parents think that if their children know about these things, they may turn to them. the fact is that they have to know about the world, and about the problems that alot of people have. i hate it when parents shelter their kids. when that happens kids go into the world not knowing anything. then when they meet people that have these problems, they usually discriminate against them, cause they don't know about them. then they do the same thing to their kids, and it becomes an ongoing cycle.

O_o my parents call all the music i listen to garbage stare they think that that stupid marachi music rules but hell no!! i mean yeah i know i'm mexican but the only kind of music i like that in spanish is reggeatone or latin rock 3nodding but they call that gharbage too i mean wtf if up with the music they like their all like "ah ha ha ha ha hay!!!" @.@ very very annoying and scary thats why i bring my cd player with me parctically every where i gop with them cuz i know sooner or later they'll put their bull s**t on stare anyway they like none of my music they think it's for freak but hell they once in a while call me a punk rocker or freak but it doesn't bother me

My mother hates lp. My father doesn't really care but he doesn't like it either. They let me listen to what I want as long as it is not too loud. I guess I'm lucky. Some of your parents seem a bit... radical when they don't like what you're listening to.

I kinda wish my dad didn't like LP as much as he does...it's scary...my dad isn't the lightest of humans..and he dances to LP...do NOT ask...
My mom abides it, I don't think she really likes it though.

My parents like LP. They like it because of the meaning. That is why I like it. My bro sings songs that have no meaning to him.

this guy in colorado says that LP made him kill people (what a loser). so i can understand why some coloradians dont like them now. but i like em and my parents dont care as long as the music ist really heavy metal which i dont care for any ways

buy a cd player/mp3 player and listen to lp that way
that way your parents will think what they want and you still get your daily dosage of lp
