Cole smiled slightly as he pulled the spoon up from the soup, taking a small bite.
He glanced up at Lisa.
"I think you know the answer. I usually take my food back to my room and eat it there. By myself." He said as he stirred his soup a bit more. He picked a spoonful of soup with a piece of potato in it and popped it in his mouth. He looked up at her with the spoon still in his mouth.
"So what does Lucus think of this?"

Jinx laughed nervously as she brought his eyes back to her. He hoped she couldn't feel the heat from his face. "Well I guess it's a date then," he said jokingly. He went to sit down by the fountain she was looking at a moment before, washing his face in it to calm himself down. His heart was still going as fast as it could. He struggled to find something to say to her, to break the ice. "I should tell you, you're the first person to make me bring lightning down for a good reason. So..." he trailed off. He felt himself blushing with excitement again. "I'm sorry," he said, it had become his old standby, and even now he wouldn't be without it. "I've never had a friend before, so I don't know how to act, especially around girls. H*ll, you're the first person to stick around after they saw my powers. So, this is a definite first for me.

Rain stayed silent as Dusk looked confused. She had assumed it was something like that. Eating her pizza Dusk had to quickly move her hand when Rain almost skewered it with a fork after the woman tried to steal a slice of her pizza. Since Rain was ignoring Dusk except to protect her food she just went out and asked, "SO where is she?" The line between prying and satisfying their curiosity was very thing with those two and subtly was never an option.
"Me too." she said in a far away voice looking at the sky. "If I do something wrong please tell me. I don't really have much experience with people on any level. I don't know what it is but people just don't like me much and have always avoided me." Looking back to him with a smile, "until you." Grinning at him a mischievous look came across her face as she noticed him sitting by the fountain. Though she knew it shouldn't be amusing she kinda liked it how his powers went off randomly though she had another purpose in mind as she walked over acting as if she was going to sit by him. However just to make sure the ice was broken she tackled him around the waist into the water laughing the whole way before sitting up, "Your it!" Thankful the water was only about half a foot deep she got to her feet and quickly hid behind one of the shrubs crawling to find a better space.

Lisa swallowed her bite of food, "He wasn't too happy about my outfit, but besides that he really didn't care. Why did you think that he would be jealous?"

Jinx's surprise was quickly doused by the water. "That's cold! That's really cold!" he screamed in mock anger. He looked around for her, and noticing that she was hiding, slogged out of the fountain. He saw a rustling in the bushes nearby, and tried to put on his best ganster voice. "Are you trying to hide from me?" he screamed again, hardly able to keep himself from laughing. His face was incredulous as he continued. "I am literally the master of disaster, and you're trying to hide from me?!!"
Knowing it probably wouldn't behoove him to tear the bushes out of the ground, he quickly ran in behind her, beaming with excitement and happiness at having fun with his first friend. As he was under the bushes, he pushed a little tendril of his power, and saw a small root from the bush rise out of the ground and wrap around her legs. "You can't run from me for long," he shouted ahead, laughing and panting as he struggled through the brush.

Crawling through around the bush Moon Child had to stifle a giggle as she heard his voice. Trying her best to be sneaky it wasn't working out to well as the mere thought of playing hide and seek was enough to make her laugh and Jinx wasn't helping with his antics. Moon Child didn't notice the bush rising out or brush against her legs until it was wrapped tight making her squeak like a little school girl as she heard his voice getting closer. Wiggling trying to get free from the roots she ended up looking much like a caterpillar trying to worm away. With a pouting face she glared at the roots before wiggling more trying to get free as she started laughing again. In between fits of laughing she called out while managing to balance on her feet, "Oh master of disaster have mercy on me. I am just a lost orphan girl!" However her balance didn't last long and she squeaked and fell back again catching herself on her arms, her face flushed from laughing and moving around so much.

Zerlina actually seemed to smile slightly when Jinx mentioned that he killed is parents. However, that only lasted a few moment before her somch began to growl. She hopped out of the tree and headed inside, the puppy in tow. She had every intention to speak to the boy again, but right now food was more important.
When she got to the dining hall she ordered a cheeseburger and sat down at an empty table. She tore off a small piece of meat to the puppy, who kept re-eating it every time it fell out of him. Zerlina watched him for a minute or so before it got boring and then began to examine the people eating.

Jinx finally got to where Moon Child was struggling with the root. He pulled it out of the ground to release her, then quickly tagged her calf, saying excitedly, "You're it!" With this, he stood up out of the bush, and tripped over the side trying to get out. He stood up in a flash and started running, looking for a place to hide. He quickly climbed up a nearby tree, hoping she hadn't seen him. He had never been very good at Hide 'n Seek. His excitement usually resulted in his hiding place losing it's integrity. He hoped him being happy wouldn't bring the tree down.

Cole let out one small laugh at this.
"I never said he would be jealous. I was just asking." He said just before taking another bite.
"Why? Do you think he would be jealous?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Dani smiled faintly at the two's antics, before looking away at the question. She didn't say anything for a moment, looking back up and meeting Dusk's eyes with her own, pain filled ones. "She's dead." she said softly, voice devoid of emotion.

Lisa laughed, "Well, a young man hanging out with an older woman. He's just nervous I'm going for a younger male who likes older women." She took another bite, "I mean it's not like your ugly. Your very handsome." She took another bite with a smile to back it up.

A small smile came onto Cole's face as he stared down at his soup.
"Well, thanks. I have to say I'm flattered." He said before glancing up at Lisa again.
"But he has nothing to worry about. I would never 'make a move' for a woman who was already married." He added as he took another bite.

Lisa had a teasing smile, "Awww too bad!" She stuck her tongue out, "Thankfully for you there are many single women around." She drank some of the water at the table and took her plate back to the lunch ladies where they went to wash it. She got back to the table and waited for Cole to finish his lunch.

Cole took a few more bites of his soup before lifting the bowl to his mouth. He drank the rest of the broth before bringing back to the counter.
He came back and glanced up at Lisa.
"Single, yes. Stupid, not so sure." He joked.
