Thanatos walked in and slid his left hand along his Zanpakuto and held his right hand up. "I don't want to rely on Hitogoroshi anymore." Fire started to form in his right hand. "Time to return to my roots." He started to walk faster and the fire a trail in the air. Out of this trail Flame clones started to move out of it. "Muramasa!" His Zanpakuto started to ignite and he stood in his stance. Thanatos looked out over the increasing army of clones and waited till they stopped forming. 127 clones came out of the trail. "Lets do this Muramasa." He tilted his sword up and dashed towards the clones cutting them down as he went.

The clones looked up and charged. Thanatos cut through five of them, as another wave reached him. The clones slashed and jumped, while Thanatos blocked and ducked. "Tch." He held his right shoulder with his right hand, the blood trickling between his fingers.
He formed the green glow in his hand and the cut stopped bleeding. The skin started to reform, and the wound healed with a sizzle. He held his zanpakuto up and parried a slash, cutting through the Clone he charged the other batch, and jumping in the air, sent a wave of fire at them.

Thanatos looked as seven of the clones vanished from the wave. He held up his hand and the remaining clones combined into one. Thanatos pumped half of his reiatsu into the clone. He pulled out his dagger from being a member of squad 4. He winced as he cut through the muscle tissue in his right arm.
Blood sprayed everwhere as his arm went limp. "Now" He coughed up Blood "We should be evenly matched." He held up his sword in his left hand. "GO!"
The clone charged him, and sent a Genocide Cannon at him. "RAHHHH" Thanatos slid the back of his hilt into his armpit, and held beneath the guard and dug his feet in the ground. The Blast connected with his sword and started to split"GAH" Thanatos yelled as his arm started to pop out of joint from the force of the blast.

Thanatos swung upwards,creating a large slash of reiatsu that cut throught the Genocide Cannon and split the immobile clone in half. Thanatos leaned on his knees, and looked at the destruction around him. He stood up and started to heal himself. The green aura, stopped his bleeding, and slowlying all of the skin was reformed. He popped his arm back into place, and coughed as tears rolled down his eyes. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" He Yelled at the sky. A few hours passed and he awoke. He adjusted his headphones and Prayer of the Refugee Started playing. Thanatos rolled his shoulders, and waited for Zach.

Zack walked into squad seven for the first time in what seemed like forever. He had only visited once, but it was enough to be able to find the training grounds. He walked through the training grounds, and soon spotted Thanatos. "Hey! You ready?" He yelled as he approached his next opponent. Zack was feeling slightly worried that he hadn't fought in awhile, but was still confident in his fighting abilities.

Thanatos pulled his headphones off abit and nodded. "Let's go."
He stared into Zach's eyes and sliding his headphones back on, charged.
Warm yourself by the fire, son,
And the morning will come soon.
I’ll tell you stories of a better time,
In a place that we once knew.
Thanatos slashed down at Zach, and using some reiatsu made the slash go even faster.

As Thanatos charged he dropped his stance a little, and slowly charged reiatsu into his zanpaku-to. He turned his body slightly to the left as he gripped his hilt. When Thanatos slashed at him he used the extra momentum from the quick draw he performed, and then slashed directly up at his opponent's zanpaku-to. Zack slid back a little as the blades clashed, and then he jumped back hoping Thanatos' blade would stab into the ground.
Zack landed a little ways back, and then looked forward to where Thanatos was. Not really registering anything he slashed down hard at where he was standing. Using what reiatsu was left from the earlier charging to speed up the blow in a mimick of Thanatos' attack.

Thanatos' zanpakuto made a clinking sound as it hit the dirt. Thanatos dropped low and spun, twisting his blade up to meet Zach's.
Don’t hold me up now,
I can stand my own ground,
I don’t need your help now,
You will let me down, down, down!
Thaantos looked into Zach's eyes again. His sword holding Zach's zanpakuto back. The two swords struggled and Thanatos did a quick Reiatsu burst and slid his sword upwards. Twisting his body, dodged to the side of Zach's sword and jumped up. Thanatos stood in the air waiting for Zach to follow him.

Zack looked up to Thanatos after he regained his balance, and smiled shooting up into the air. He went straight past Thanatos, and went straight above him aiming his index and middle finger down at him. "Hadou number four... White lightning..." He said calmly a bolt of white reiatsu down upon Thanatos. After he saw the bolt make impact, but not sure what it hit, he charged down swinging his zanpaku-to were he believed his opponent still was.

Genji was curious to see how his friends in Squad 7 were doing. The first place he decided to look for them in was the training ground. Reiatsu was coming from the area. Someone most be fighting someone. It turned out to be Rose's good friend, Zack, and Thanatos. Genji was interested to see their fight and began to watch.

Thanatos swung up and cut through the hadou. Seeing Zack head towards him he held his sword with one hand to block, pumping reiatsu into it, while holding his left hand up and saying "Hadou 54: Abolishing Flames" The purple fire shot up at Zack.

Zack saw a purple light shoot from Thanatos, and knew he should get out of the way fast. Holding out his left palm he focused reiatsu into it. "Hadou number one... Thrust!" He yelled as his reiatsu exploded from his hand shoving Thanatos' hadou back down, and stopped his charge downwards to watch. He knew that the hadou might over power his so he glided back a ways to stay safe. He then charged up some in his right hand as he watched.

The purple flames break through and soar upwards, while Thanatos dashes upwards behind them. "Hadou 4: White Lightning" Thanatos points his finger In the middle of the fire and the white blast shoots through towards Zack.
Don’t hold me up now,
I can stand my own ground,
I don’t need your help now,
You will let me down, down, down!
Down!
Thanatos pushes off the air and shoots up higher. He holds his right hand up, and charges a hadou 54. "Abolishing Flames!" Thanatos slams the fire on his sword and starts a freefall towards Zack. As he gains speed he starts to spin creating a firey cyclone, hiding the point of his blade.
We are the angry and the desperate,
The hungry, and the cold,
We are the ones who kept quiet,
And always did what we were told.
But we’ve been sweating while you slept so calm,
In the safety of your home.
We’ve been pulling out the nails that hold up
Everything you’ve known.
He gets close to Zack and uses a reiatsu burst to thrust forwards even faster. "RAHHH"
